Definitely NOT foreshadowing a sweeps stunt. There are no plans for CMM to appear on the show.

Whether it’s a jibe, though, I guess is in the eye of the beholder!

Then they went on to talk about Nathan not calling to say thank you.

It could be a jibe at CMM. Or it could be foreshadowing to a sweeps stunt.

Yes, it was definitely meant to capitalize off Halloween. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make it any more acceptable to me. Sigh.

Clay and Quinn have definitely jumped in. But I’ll take Leyton over them any day!

Not sure if Brooke is pregnant. As I said somewhere above, not sure if what I’ve read is a spoiler or a foiler. But I don’t think whether she is or isn’t has any impact on whether this is the last season.

i agree that it was not original to do camping and the pot in one episode. ithink they were going off of the halloween thing to like have a “scary” but funny one. i also think that they have a lot to from for this season. clay and quinn totes just jumped in and took over lucas and peyton’s spot and i’m not bothered by it yet. i dont think brook will be preg because then there would be a baby and then this would probs be the last season..

Ooh, I didn’t think of that but now that you mention it, I definitely see similarities.

Today I watched “Pictures Of You” from season 4, which had both Rachel smoking pot and Haley, quite hilariously, doing impressions (everyone did actually, but Haley stands out). I know the pot scenario here wasn’t quite the same but it definitely feels redundant considering all the other shows (like 90210 last season) that have done it. And the Haley part reminded me that she can be quite funny but I just didn’t like it last night.

ok soo.. when brooke ate the pot brownies did anyone else think of that time in season 1 after the game when she took an extra pain killer ? because i got flashbacks of that during this episode.
and, i sorta liked seeing brooke away from juilan for an episode

lauraelizabeth, you are right! I thought I heard Nathan but according to several other sites, Dan did in fact say Lucas!

Not an irrelevant question at all, as many CMM lovers and haters are saying it was the show’s way of making a jibe at him. ::shrug::

Quick (and probably irrelevant question) — did Dan say that he wished Nathan would come on the show? I thought I heard (and I may be completely off) him say that they should get LUCAS to do a guest spot, because he “isn’t doing anything”.. You know me, classic OTH fan (and Leyton fan) for life, haha.

Whew, thank you, Sane! The episode was just very unoriginal with both the pot thing and the camping trip. Unfortunately, you’re going to have to get used to Quinn.

I totally forgot to mention the Bree Williamson thing in the episode. Interesting that none of the press played that up prior to the episode airing.
