The show *is* doing fine. I’m not trying to suggest otherwise. It’s also difficult comparing to past seasons when there were (at times) different timeslots and even a different network. I almost always think the plot is better than GG, so you won’t get an argument from me there. And the OTH ratings are always better than GG–at least so far this season.

but the raitings haven’t been super low compared to previous seasons? i tihnk the show is doing fine, but i guess thats one person’s opinoin. and personally, i think the plot is doing better than GG but thats not always the cse either, is it?

mollydavis: Not exactly. On two occasions this season OTH has soared to 2.7 million, but it’s also gone as low as 2.1 million. The rest of the time, it’s been all over the place within those two numbers. Each week is different–there hasn’t been two weeks in a row with consistent ratings–in a hit/miss type of way. I’m not sure we can say any of this does or doesn’t have to do with Leyton. The ratings are pretty much on par with last year.

so one tree hill is doing well even without leyton? i knew it would. the writers and producers are so good at what they do.

Sorry, Mega, but I’m never been a big Jenny person. (Come to think of it, I’m not really big on anyone but I guess that’s a different conversation.) I was surprised by the Jonathan stuff, too, but like you said, it was hard to appreciate it because we saw so little of their relationship. There could be so many great storylines with them but that’s apparently not what the show’s interested. They use homosexuality for ratings stunts and shocking moments, not for deep, longterm storylines. Anyway, the threesome was random and I am looking forward to seeing the fall out. It was completely predictable that Serena wouldn’t do what Blair wanted and, regardless of them making up now or ever, we know there’s always going to be another “this friendship is over” fight that is supposedly bigger and more real and more final than the last one. Just as predictable is Serena and Tripp but I kinda sorta looking forward to seeing how they do that. Tripp is quite cute.

OMG, I Love Jenny so Much, she is my fav. I can’t believe what they did to Eric’s relationship or can I say lack of relationship, I never got a chance to get invested in them to care that they broke up only cared that they didn’t do anything. That threesome was random and don’t know what the fallout will be, I hope it was be Dan falling for useless Vanessa (I hate that she is a main character). B&S are friends again then at the end S blows off B for her obvious goign to be affair but Tripp(Aaron) is so hot. The great thing about this episode is that Jenny became Top Queen.

hopefully we won’t have to worry about a spinoff for awhile! one tree hill still has a couple good years left in it, don’t ya think?
