After last week’s super-serious series, I thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the characters who give the most memorable lines.  So, in no particular order…

Character: Seth Cohen (The O.C.)

Style: Sarcastic and self-deprecating

Examples: “Every year some big water polo player ends up peeing in one of my shoes… Nah, I’m just kidding. He pees in both of them.” (The Heights, Episode 1.9)

“My Jew-fro is frizzing out. I look like Screech”(The Goodbye Girl, 1.21)

“Congratulations. You’re a Cohen. Welcome to a life of insecurity and paralyzing self-doubt.” (The Chrismukkah That Almost Wasn’t, 2.6)

“I think closure’s overrated. I’m more of a fan of open-ended, unrequited love.” (The Test, 2.13)

“We’re getting dangerously close to an After-School Special here, Ryan. It’s marijuana and I did it twice.” (The Cliffhanger, 3.14)

“Aren’t you going to invite me in? So the utility closet is the new poolhouse. Things change. It’s the Seth/Ryan time that counts.” (The Avengers, 4.1)
