actually Canadian’s teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation (The-N in the US) starts its 9th season this fall
Thanks for commenting, but I don’t count that because it’s not a US-made show and not conventionally considered part of the teen drama genre by Hollywood standards.

not to be a drag but how about smallville?? it kinda is teen drama…
While it has some teen drama elements–high school, relationships, etc.–I think it’s actually classified (or should be) as sci-fi. Teen dramas, to me, are the shows that have no other focus/premise than the relationships between teens and young adults. If I don’t cover it on this site, I don’t consider it explicitly a teen drama.
