Part 1

Continuing with a look at my favorite episode titles…

Dawson’s Creek

Sex, She Wrote, Episode 2.11: Clever and fitting play off a classic television series.

To Be or Not To Be…That is the Question, 2.14-15: Clever and fitting play off a classic Shakespeare quote

The Longest Day, 3.20: Aside from the fact that it’s a movie reference, it perfectly describes the way the episode’s format makes you feel.

True Love, 3.23: A great summary of the episode’s plot and clever reference to an earlier storyline

The Two Gentlemen of Capeside, 4.3: Clever and fitting play off a classic Shakespeare play

The Tao of Dawson/The Te of Pacey, 4.11-12: Just clever!

Four Stories, 4.15: A literal description of the episode’s format (which One Tree Hill copied this season)

Text, Lies and Videotape, 5.7: Clever play off of a movie title.

Something Wild/Something Wilder, 5.11-13: Just clever!

100 Light Years From Home, 5.19: Clever and fitting reference to a song by the Rolling Stones

Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell, 6.7: Just makes me laugh!

Castaways, 6.15: Just the perfect title for a perfect episode.

Joey Potter and the Capeside Redemption, 6.22: Clever and fitting play off a classic novel/film.

All Good Things…Must Come to an End, 6.23-24: Perfect titles for the 2-part series finale.
