So their not even going to show the rest of the Beautiful Life episodes that were already finished? That’s stupid. I wasn’t a fan of the first two episodes, but I was going to continue to give it a chance. I wonder if they will put one of the other pilots into production. I was hoping for the one with Brian Austin Green and Jason Dohring.
I don’t think they will show the other episodes, no. They’ve already lost too much with the first two airings. I’m sure only a handful of episodes were completed, though, and there’s always the chance of releasing them on DVD or the web.
I don’t think they can put the other pilots into production, as the actors, writers and producers have moved on to other work. They are contracted to remain available for a certain amount of time but I believe we are way past that. The Body Politic pilot, though, was raved about by critics so who knows. They do have Life Unexpected (starring DC’s Kerr Smith) to fill the void, though that was going to be a mid-season show regardless. But they also picked up 2 reality shows in the last week, no doubt with TBL’s cancellation in mind.
