8 01 2009RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!
I really liked Adam Gregory as 90210‘s Ty and feel that he was very underused. Do you know if he will come back? — Erik
MICKEY: Ty will be back! In what capacity? Let’s just say this: My pregnant friend and her husband received T-shirts as Hanukkah presents. Hers says “knocked up”; his, “baby daddy.” Guess what Ty’s would say? (It’s more complicated than you think.)
I’ve been hearing that this is the last season of One Tree Hill. True? — Yassmina
MATT: That’s certainly not the vibe I’m getting whenever I check in with my sources at the CW and Warner Bros. Far from it, actually.

Rob Estes on Tori Spelling
8 01 2009
“You know, it was hard at first. You come off of something so iconical like 90210, that was a big task for us. But with Tori Spelling, they’ve been negotiating since the first shows started airing. And she’ll be on at some point, I’m sure. But hopefully, they’ll throw us a curve ball, and she’ll be driving a cab or something.”

Tuesday Night Reaction
7 01 200990210
- Naomi’s interactions with Sean/Sean’s interactions with Naomi are so creepy–regardless of whether he’s her brother.
- Again convinced Dixon and Silver are one of the best things about the show.
- The Pictionary scene was pretty cute.
- Still weird hearing “Ms. Taylor” and “Miss Walsh.”
- Interesting they chose to reverse Dixon and Annie’s rooms from what Brandon and Brenda had in the original.
- Liked the incorporation of some realism with Tabitha’s comment about the market.
- Couldn’t the part about why Sean needs money be true? Again, regardless of whether he’s who he says he is.
- Brenda said she “burned bridges.” What’s happened to her relationships with everyone else?
- Loved Kelly telling her off, but hated her hair!
- How/why does Brenda have such a nice house?!
- I will never accept a new Peach pit.
- Enough with the Dr. Pepper references.
- Brenda’s semi-apology at the rehab center was kind of nice.
- So was Sean really beat up and by who?
- Strange that they’re going with a Brenda can’t have kids storyline when Kelly had the same problem. At least they sort of mentioned it.
- Brenda and Kelly patched things up way too quickly.
- Since when do they give medical results in a waiting room?!
- So did Adrianna sleep with Navid or no?
- If Christina isn’t interested in Dixon, why kiss him? (Even on the cheek?)
- That’s a lot of pressure to be asked to sing like that! I was very impressed with Tristan Wild’s voice.
- Where was Navid?
- Who knew $200,000 would be such a huge deal to Beverly Hills people?

News Roundup: Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Dawson’s Creek and 90210
7 01 2009- Regardless of whether there’s a seventh season of One Tree Hill, the show already has a noteworthy accomplishment: completing two more episodes than Dawson’s Creek ever did!
- Finally! An article that gives Katie Holmes (Joey, Dawson’s Creek) some credit for her acting!
- The third and final part on what it’s like to be a Gossip Girl extra.
- An intern at Teen Vogue worked out with Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl) and chronicled it for the mag.
- Be sure to watch the People’s Choice Awards Tonight where both 90210 and Fringe (starring Joshua Jackson, DC’s Pacey) are nominated for favorite new TV drama.

Breaking News: Tori Spelling “Close” to 90210 Deal
7 01 2009It’s the news many have been waiting for. A deal will be finalized soon for Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) to appear on 90210 for multiple episodes, according to the LA Times.
I didn’t (and still don’t) want Donna back without David (Brian Austin Green) because I fear it will be revealed that they’re no longer together. I don’t know how the execs could do that in good conscious considering how much of the original series was built around their relationship, especially the series finale.
Before Spelling’s first appearance deal fell apart over the summer, the plan was to have Donna be the owner of her own boutique. My question: isn’t she already? Anyone remember Now Wear This? But like Kelly (Jennie Garth) was so far from where we last saw her, who knows what Donna will be up to?
Are you okay with a Donna return even if the storyline isn’t true to the original series? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Spoiler: Ask Ausiello
7 01 2009RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!
Question: Any new news about the Veronica Mars movie? If not, some Gossip Girl scoop is perfectly acceptable. — Amy
Ausiello: Gossip Girl scoop it is! Word around the UES is that Serena will soon share something in common with Anne Hathaway. And garnering Oscar buzz ain’t it.
Question: About Lily and Rufus’ kid on Gossip Girl: another site said it was a boy and he died. Is that true? — Hanna
Ausiello: Only half of it.
Question: I need to know more about Gossip Girl, please! I’ll give my entire Smurf collection! — Ali
Ausiello: I have a sneaking suspicion that Chuck’s mother is alive. Anyone else share my hunch?
Question: Do you have any news on One Tree Hill? We heard that Mark Schwahn had asked The CW for a decision on season 7 by 1 January so that he could write an appropriate season ending. — Nathan
Ausiello: Not Jan. 1, but a decision will be made soon. It’s all about contracts now. The cast only signed six-year pacts, so new deals will have to be brokered. Negotiations are happening as we speak.
