- The CW is working on two pilots: an untitled project from the creator of Gilmore Girls and Nikita, a spin-off of the series La Femme Nikita, which will be produced by McG (executive producer, The O.C.) and his company Wonderland (which also made The O.C.).
- Matt Lanter (Liam, 90210) is featured in the new issue of VMAN magazine. Paul Wesley (Donnie, The O.C.) is also featured.
- Diego Boneta has been cast on 90210. Beware: there’s spoilers in the article.
- Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) and hubby Dean McDermott star in a Funny or Die video spoofing Cottonelle’s “Over vs. Under” debate. I thought it was pretty funny.
- Came across two great Beverly Hills 90210-related sites today: CafePress merchandise and one’s girls travels to the show’s locations. Among the gems: she has an amazingly detailed looks at Dylan’s house and Casa Walsh, including some sad news about the latter.
- Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl) and her band Pretty Reckless will play at the annual Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey in May.
- Spinner.com has a short article on Mike Grubbs (Grubbs, One Tree Hill) and his band Wakey!Wakey!
- MTV has a brief interview with Katie Holmes (Joey, Dawson’s Creek).

90210 Locations Pt. 3
22 01 2009I have one more “residence” to show you from the trip and it’s a doozy.
Any guesses?
It’s Dylan McKay’s house!
A peek inside the windows showed me that this location was used for exterior AND interior filming. (I can’t say the same for Casa Walsh and the Beach Apartment.) The inside, right down to the furniture set up, looks pretty much exactly as it did on the show. We snapped a few more photos before we realized somebody was inside watching TV! And then we ran!
Coincidentally, this house is only four houses west of Casa Walsh!

21 01 2009You’ve seen Casa Walsh. Now here’s a different residence…
The Beach Apartment!
While Kelly and Donna did in fact “live” on the beach, it wasn’t in Beverly Hills. Instead, they lived about a half hour south of Los Angeles, in Hermosa Beach.
Let’s take a second to think about all the different people that lived here: Kelly, Donna, David, Clare, Carly, Gina and Janet. As Clare once said, it’s all about “location, location, location!”

90210 Locations!
20 01 2009As I mentioned yesterday, I spent a good chunk of my time in LA checking out the places where Beverly, Hills 90210 was filmed. It was incredibly surreal to be at the houses and businesses I’ve seen repeatedly on television for more than ten years. To share some of my excitement with all of you, each day for the rest of the week I’ll post a couple of pictures and some commentary.
So let’s get started!

It’s Casa Walsh!
Though it was private property, I snuck up close to take this picture.
Seen in all ten seasons of the series, Casa Walsh was located on the show at 953 Hillcrest Drive, Beverly Hills. While there is in fact a 953 Hillcrest Drive in California, the house used for filming was actually located in Altadena, more than 20 miles away.

Site of the Week: 90210Locations
19 01 2009While in Los Angeles this past week, I was planning on doing some scouting, based on my own knowledge, of places seen on Beverly Hills, 90210.
And then about a week before I left, I found this: 90210Locations, the most thorough listing of all the sites I’ve seen on the show.
Where is Casa Walsh really located? They have it.
Where was Jack McKay allegedly blown up? They have it.
Where were all the locations of The Peach Pit? They have it.
Where are the locations of the new 90210? They have it.
And when I tell you I was hyperventilating when I found this, I am not exaggerating.
All this week I’ll post the pictures I took at the locations I visited.
But whether you actually get to go there or not, this site is THE resource to have.
