“You know, it was hard at first. You come off of something so iconical like 90210, that was a big task for us. But with Tori Spelling, they’ve been negotiating since the first shows started airing. And she’ll be on at some point, I’m sure. But hopefully, they’ll throw us a curve ball, and she’ll be driving a cab or something.”
Regardless of whether there’s a seventh season of One Tree Hill, the show already has a noteworthy accomplishment: completing two more episodes than Dawson’s Creek ever did!
Finally! An article that gives Katie Holmes (Joey, Dawson’s Creek) some credit for her acting!
An intern at Teen Vogue worked out with Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl) and chronicled it for the mag.
Be sure to watch the People’s Choice Awards Tonight where both 90210 and Fringe (starring Joshua Jackson, DC’s Pacey) are nominated for favorite new TV drama.
It’s the news many have been waiting for. A deal will be finalized soon for Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) to appear on 90210 for multiple episodes, according to the LA Times.
I didn’t (and still don’t) want Donna back without David (Brian Austin Green) because I fear it will be revealed that they’re no longer together. I don’t know how the execs could do that in good conscious considering how much of the original series was built around their relationship, especially the series finale.
Before Spelling’s first appearance deal fell apart over the summer, the plan was to have Donna be the owner of her own boutique. My question: isn’t she already? Anyone remember Now Wear This? But like Kelly (Jennie Garth) was so far from where we last saw her, who knows what Donna will be up to?
Are you okay with a Donna return even if the storyline isn’t true to the original series? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
In a new interview, Lori Loughlin (Debbie, 90210) opens up about a Full House reunion and, perhaps more importantly, what she thinks of her role on 90210.
Among the revelations:
The scene where Debbie confronts Tracy (That Which We Destroy) is Loughlin’s favorite scene in her career!
“Hates” to think that her character won’t be developed further.
Admits the show is still going through “transitions”
Would be open to a Full House reunion if the script was right!
We’re curious to see how the Kelly-Ryan-Brenda saga plays out–particularly because Shannen Doherty said in a lot interviews that she didn’t want to do the whole love triangle route again.
At least Dylan isn’t involved. Don’t think I could handle that.
Since when do they themselves post on Gossip Girl? I thought the whole point of her blog was that SHE posts!
Creative to not introduce Uncle Jack in the typical way. Felt slighted, though, like something was missing.
Fair to assume Jack and Blair had a New Year’s Eve fling?
Serena and Dan were surprisingly cute…but it won’t last, I can promise you that. Why tease viewers? Because putting couples together and tearing them apart again is a teen drama staple.
So the secret lovechild is a boy, as many people were guessing.
ONE TREE HILL
If it’s late in LA when Peyton calls Lucas, how late is it in Tree Hill? North Carolina is in an earlier time zone!
She’s preggers. Duh. I love how excited and cute they were!
Haley wants dibs on godmother…and yet she made Brooke Jamie’s. Fair? I don’t think so.
Jack’s brother is ridiculously creepy.
Victoria could still be behind the mugging, right? At least the sketch-stealing part. She could’ve hired Jack’s creepy brother.
Never saw it coming that that was Julian’s dad.
Andre and Julian are adorable. And tragic.
His question (is Julian really just after Peyton) is my question, too!
Number 12 is just as good as 23…I guess.
Yay Chase! No Chase and Mia!
Could do without the Mouth and Millicent storyline.
Why did they never show Owen’s SlamBall injury?
Sophia Bush was super-impressive tonight. I was just blown away and I really like the way the story unfolded, particularly the ending.
RANDOM
Surprisingly, there weren’t too many 90210 promos. I only counted two.
One Tree Hill wins the promo war for next week (aka got me more excited than Gossip Girl). Agree?
Is it sickening to see the emphasis placed on the rich in shows like 90210 and Priviledged when the economy is doing so bad? Roger Catlin of The Hartford Courant thinks so.
I’m undecided. Part of the draw of teen dramas is their escapist nature. Who wants to be reminded how bad things are in reality? It’s nice to fantasize! But being more sensitive to the average person couldn’t hurt either.
