Site of the Week

9 03 2009

One resource in particular was invaluable to me last week as I worked on the Most Quote-Worthy Characters series.

Wikiquote

Wikiquote is part of the Wikimedia family, which is also responsible for Wikipedia, Wiktionary, etc.

Wikiquote takes Wikipedia’s general purpose of providing information and narrows it down to simply providing quotes.

They have some of the best collections of Dawson’s Creek, The O.C. and One Tree Hill quotes I’ve seen.

Unfortunately, the Gossip Girl and 90210 (old and new) sections are lacking.

But if you have a lot of time and want to relive some memorable lines, or if you’re looking for something in particular, Wikiquote is great place to start your search.

Top 5 Biggest Vixens

9 03 2009

My alternate title for this series was Biggest Bitches, but I figured vixens was more PC.  Either way, the list is the same.  This week I’ll be counting down the top 5 temptresses of teen drama lore.

These manipulative mavens use their wits, sex appeal and fierce attitudes to achieve whatever goal.

We’ll start with one of teen drama’s newest female villains but as the week goes on, so does the scheming and infamy.

5. Naomi Clark (90210)

Naomi is every high schooler’s worst nightmare: mean-spirited, shallow and filthy rich.  Naomi uses her looks and wealth to wield power on those around her, often feuding with Annie and not hesitating to back-stab those her wrong her, whether it be Silver, Ethan or someone else.

Updated Again: Try this link for the video.  Unfortunately, I can neither find nor remember what the second link was to!

Updated Again: I embedded a new version of the video. Still unsure about the second link.

Random Question

7 03 2009

One of the things Peyton (Hilarie Burton, One Tree Hill) is known for is her crying.

So I’m wondering…

How many episodes has she actually cried in?

Surely someone out there has been keeping track!

Any 90210 scoop for me? -Trish
A show source tells me The CW series is looking for a celeb dresser to help West Bev’s finest get all dolled up for prom this spring. Apparently the network’s first choice was star stylist Rachel Zoe, but she isn’t available. Any thoughts on who should play the part instead? I say Carson Kressley, obvs…
