- The CW sent out a press release officially announcing the January 18 premiere date for Life UneXpected, starring Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek) and Shiri Appleby (Rene, Beverly Hills 90210). The release explains how the schedule swap with One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl will work: OTH will have new episodes January 18-March 1 followed by LUX, then March 8-April 12 LUX will air followed by new episodes of GG. After that, LUX is done and OTH and GG will both be back in their regular spots for the rest of the season.

I will now watch Life UneXpected simply for Kerr Smith.
Ha, I’m excited for that too but I have to wonder what kind of longevity his role has. I got the feeling that Cate, who his character is with, is destined to be with her babydaddy. I’m sure they’ll draw it out but if the reunion does happen, where does that leave Kerr’s character? =(
This has good news and bad news. Good news: no weeks w/o new eps. Bad news: weeks where we miss either GG or OTH.
I have a question. I thought they were originally going to air this in the Wed. night time slot that is showing re-runs, since TBL was cancelled. What happened with that?
Ang, I don’t recall any scheduling plans for LUX before this announcement but I could be wrong.
