Georgina Sparks (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg) returns to the Upper East Side…and she has an agenda.

Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Liam (Matt Lanter) test out the waters with his new boat, where they share their darkest secrets. Little do they know that someone is nearby and decides to share an explosive flame of gasoline with Liam’s boat.

Spence bribing Silver seems a little too much like Donna’s mom bribing Ray on the original. Perhaps I am judging prematurely.
I could live without Georgina.
I wasn’t expecting the Gossip Girl/Dan/Serena/Nate thing. I am eager to know what it is exactly.
I didn’t think Chuck was going to injure himself. The way I read it (“Blair must decide whether to meet Chuck at the top of the Empire State Building or risk losing their future together”), it sounded more to me like An Affair to Remember/Love Affair or even Sex and the City, where the couple sets a time, date and location and if they both show up, it’s because they each realized they belong together. I certainly don’t want to see yet another movie plot ripped off. But, again, this is me jumping to conclusions on such little info. I suppose it’s possible that if Blair doesn’t show up, Chuck injures himself. Hmm.
Well they really must be investing in this whole taking storylines from the origonal and putting a new twist on it but this Dixon gambling thing seems like a fail. Like they couldn’t come up with a good story for him so stuc him with that. Hopefully it plays out good.

Georgina bring drama when it’s needed but earlier this season her storyline was so dull to me with the whole dating Dan, being roommates with Blair, and trying to mess up Chair. It wasn’t up to par with what Georgina use to do. I’m hoping that she comes back with big news or something.
I’m still trying to figure out what’s going to happen to Jenny. A lot of people are saying boarding school but IDK.
Saved By The Bell: The New Class copied a lot of storylines from the original. It was cheesy and campy and, to me, fine. But this, this bothers me. (In case you couldn’t already tell–ha!) And if they were going to do the gambling storyline at all, I wish they waited til a later date. I don’t like how they started it and I don’t like that it’s going on simultaneously with the Ivy stuff.
I definitely don’t think threesome and I don’t quite see Serena cheating with Dan. I’m not sure what her being pregnant would have to do with him either.
Georgina just feels *done* to me. Earlier this season had a been there/done that feel. It’s no longer interesting to have her, lose her, have her, lose her. (And they seem to be going that route with Jack, too.) Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
I don’t know about Jenny either.
