did it do better than one tree hill? i watch both secret life and one tree hill and they are gonna be on at the same time. oth will always win out over secret life but thank god for dvr. i just dont want secret life to take too many viewers from oth.
At 4.5 million viewers, Secret Life did WAY better than One Tree Hill. Make It Or Break It, with 2.7 million, is right around OTH’s season-high for this year.
isn’t secret life a teen drama too?… this week’s episode wasn’t good at all but the season looks really good and i’m loosing interest in both gossip girl and 90210
Part of my definition for a teen drama requires that it be aired on one of the broadcast networks, not cable. Secret Life airs on ABC Family, a cable channel, which is why it isn’t covered here.
ah ok, didn’t know… so, the diference is bigger now, cuz if secret life airs on cable, that means not everybody have the opportunity to watch, right? but everybody could watch any cw drama if they wanted to, meaning more ratings for the broadcast network. Do you understand? i’m learning english, sorry.
No sorries necessary, Fefa. Your English is fine. =)
And you are right on; the difference is bigger. Many families in America still don’t have cable, meaning they can’t watch Secret Life. Everyone who has a TV, however, can get the broadcast channels. The CW is a tiny exception, actually, as there are a few places in the country that don’t have/offer the station. But, yes, more people have the opportunity to watch The CW than they do to watch ABC Family–which makes it all the more striking that Secret Life killed Gossip Girl & 90210 (and One Tree Hill) in the ratings.
In my opinion, 90210 is the best teen drama on TV right now. Then Secret Life and then Greek!
