So sorry! Jason Priestley is not going to appear in front of the camera on 90210. Priestley says, “I don’t think so. There’s no reason for Brandon to show up at the new and improved West Beverly High.” Let’s all take a moment of silence.

Lily in Detroit: We heard Michelle Trachtenberg might be getting a new love interest on Gossip Girl. Any news?
Not quite yet, but it sounds like Michelle would like to play the field a bit longer on Gossip Girl. “She is making out with all the boys,” says Michelle Trachtenberg. “Nooo, that was my request,” jokes the star. Wanna know what really happens? “You’ll have to see.” (Gossip Girl premieres Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. on the CW.)

Morgaine in Grand Rapids, Mich.: Can’t wait for Californication to return in the fall. Do you have any news?
O.C. star Peter Gallagher tells us, “I’m going to be on Californication this season, and I’m playing Dean Stacy Koons, the dean of the university where Hank Moody (David Duchovny) works. Embeth Davidtz plays my wife, Felicia Koons. I’m fairly antagonistic with Mr. Duchovny. I had the time of my life—about as much fun as any actor is allowed to have.” Other guest stars on Californication this fall include Kathleen Turner as an evil agent, Rick Springfield as a drug-addled star, Diane Farr as Hank’s T.A. at the university where he’s teaching, Eva Amurri (Susan Sarandon‘s daughter) as a stripper/student and, believe it or not, Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl‘s Chuck), also playing a student.

Christy in Temecula, Calif.: Do you have any news on Dan from Gossip Girl?
We hear he’s getting ripped! Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley tells E! News that he’s been working out, something that’s going to appear on the show as well. Penn says, “By the end of 10 months, when you’ve been shooting day in and day out, you look like a pale, malnourished Gollum. Marc in Keene, Neb.: Any Brooke Davis news? I love me some Sophia Bush on One Tree Hill.
As a matter of fact, Sophia Bush tells us that good things are on the way for B. Davis on One Tree Hill this season. “It’s really exciting for Brooke this year, with her business [and] her relationship with Julian (Austin Nichols),” says Sophia. “Brooke and her mother had a beautiful ending to their story last year, and I’m really excited to explore that as well with Daphne [Zuniga]. It’s going to be really good.” Yay! Finally some happiness for our favorite Tree Hiller.

Cordelia in Fairfax, Del.: Thanks for the One Tree Hill scoop last week! Any word on what will happen in the premiere?
The One Tree Hill gang gets together to celebrate little Jamie’s birthday after a one-year time jump. Little J’s party brings together the castmembers you already know and love and some of the fresh faces we’ve told you about. Newbie Shantel VanSanten (Quinn) attends the festivities, and she tells us: “The episode is an introduction to all of the new characters. I come to Jamie’s birthday party [because] I haven’t seen them in a while. It’s reconnecting with the family, and I get to smash Jamie’s face into a cake!” Robert Buckley‘s Clay shows up, too, with a special guest in tow. “I surprise Jamie by actually bringing Jerry Rice to sign his Jerry Rice jersey,” says Robert.

Miracle in Australia: What’s the deal with Robert Buckley’s character on One Tree Hill?
Sports-agent stereotypes aside, it sounds like Robert Buckley’s character, Clay, is a pretty cool dude. “Clay’s a great agent. He hustles and gets what he goes for, but there is a good deal of compassion and loyalty to him,” Robert tells us. Still, expect a little drama heading his way. This is One Tree Hill, after all. “He’s got a lot of mystery to him, a lot of likeable qualities,” says Buckley, “but maybe not a lot of accessible likable qualities.” (P.S. Heather A. in Montgomery, N.Y.: With the Emmy noms out, I was wondering why One Tree Hill is never nominated? It’s just as good as those other shows that are nominated. For that matter, there are hardly any CW shows nominated ever. Just want to know why that is.
Oh, aren’t you sweet. What can we say? It just wouldn’t be fair to put One Tree Hill in the same categories as 30 Rock and Mad Men. That said, Watch With Kristin’s CW Awards return in December to fill in the gaps left by the Emmys and to honor the genuine awesomeness that is Supernatural and Gossip Girl.

Vanessa in Toronto: Is it true Chuck and Blair are gonna try to have a threesome on Gossip Girl? Tell me they won’t go through with it and that it might bring some sexy time for these two? I think we need it as much as they do.
You guys come up with all the best rumors! Our sources tell us there’s no threesome between Chuck, Blair and a third player to be named later, but there are a lot of C&B sexcapades happening in Gossip Girl season three. And white-hot angry sex is on the list.

Kelly in Montana: Any scoop on Olivia and Dan’s relationship on Gossip Girl?
The newest fabulous Upper East Sider, Olivia (Hilary Duff), likes that Dan doesn’t recognize her as a famous movie star.

Clarice in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: Any news about Jenny on Gossip Girl?
Jenny’s going to have to defend her queendom against the mean girls. Makes sense. Mean girls don’t usually surrender the spotlight so easily.

Adam in N.Y.:  Anything on Carter Baizen since Sebastian Stan’s show Kings is kaput? Is he back on Gossip Girl? He’s shady.
Shady Carter is going to be hooking up with Serena! Yes, Serena van der Woodsen and Carter Baizen are going to try to make a go of it in season three of Gossip Girl. Forgive us if we’re not optimistic about their long-term prospects.

Zoe in Allentown, Pa.: Almost every episode of One Tree Hill started and ended with a voice-over by Chad Michael Murray. With CMM leaving, who is going to be delivering the dramatic words of OTH wisdom?
The most likely scenario is that the OTH voice-over will rotate between the regular characters every week, but nothing’s been decided for sure yet.

Dennis in Brooklyn, N.Y.: Now that Mercy begins shooting way earlier to fill in the gap left by Parenthood‘s move to midseason, what does this mean for Michelle Trachtenberg and her stint on Gossip Girl?
Our sources tell us that Michelle Trachtenberg won’t miss a beat of Gossip Girl. She’s doing everything she was expected to do as of last spring, and Georgina’s episodes are good! However, Kelly Rutherford will be missing three episodes for her maternity leave. Still, despite Lily’s absence, expect her love child Scott (Chris Riggi) to stay front and center this season. Are you excited for the biggest Humphrey-van der Woodsen crossover of them all, or are you withholding judgment on Scott until you get to know him better?

Paula in Columbia, S.C.: Any news on 90210?
Ooh, Silver is not going to like this one bit: Next season on 90210, Dixon flirts with another woman. Her name is Sasha, and she’s a professional DJ who is said to have a Rihanna vibe. In other 90210 news, Annie stays psycho for the time being. As Monty Burns from The Simpsons would say, “Excellent.”

Duffy in San Jose, Calif.: I heard one of my heroes is guest starring in the first episode of the new season of One Tree Hill. Do you have details?
Yes we do, Duffy! Former NFL superstar Jerry Rice guest stars on the first episode of One Tree Hill this fall. He makes an appearance at Nathan’s son’s birthday party. Sophia Bush tells us it was mayhem when Jerry came on set: “It was really funny to see every guy lose his mind. When he walked on set, camera equipment was getting dropped and people rushed in. The grips, who don’t care about anything were like, ‘Oh my God, Jerry Rice!’ People went nuts. And I was like, ‘This is man world. We’ve entered a man cave.’ ”

Jenna from Kent, Ohio: Do you know who is coming back for the seventh season of One Tree Hill?
As we all know, One Tree Hill has a revolving door of characters. The other day when we spoke with Ashley Rickards, she said it’s not a question of if her character Samantha Walker is returning, but when: “I think Sam has a really strong bond with Brooke, and I don’t see that just vanishing overnight.”

Gaby in Dodge City, Kan.: What can you tell us about the new season of Entourage?
Autumn Reeser is back on our TVs! Happy dance! (She and fellow O.C.er Rachel Bilson have now officially been gone too long.) Autumn plays an upcoming junior agent at Miller-Gold who is hooking up with Gary Cole‘s greasy character, Andrew Klein. Also, we would like to formally request that Autumn become a regular in season seven and/or get a successful show of her own so we can hang out with her more.

Amy in Pittsburgh: So excited Gossip Girl is back in production! What can you tell us?!
Sorry, Hilary Duff haters, but Duff joins the Gossip Girl cast as movie star Olivia, and she’ll be getting her movie-star cooties on the entire cast, not just Vanessa and Dan. Also on Gossip Girl this season, Chuck and Blair are totally getting married and having a million babies. (OK, not that, but they are staying tight. Yay!) And believe it or not, the show really is trending away from “Dan and Serena are the one true pairing of Gossip Girl.” Certainly, that arc might turn back sometime in the future, but for now the show is trying to establish their separate identities, apart from their on-again, off-again shenanigans. Is that great news or the worst thing you’ve ever heard? Post in the comments!

Gervase in Montreal, Quebec: Thanks for the interview with Blake Lively about Papa van der Woodsen. Are we actually going to see Serena’s dad this season on Gossip Girl?

As far as Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) being best buds in the second season (something some of you would like to see), AnnaLynne says, “Never. Not going to happen. I’m sorry. I wish.”

Michael Steger tells us, “They’re talking about renovating the Blaze newsroom, so it’s going to be where everything happens and everybody meets up. They’re going to make it very loungey, very comfortable.” (The Blaze newsroom is where we’ll meet Rumer Willis‘ character when she guests in a season-two episode.)

You Gossip Girl fans can all exhale: Chuck and Blair aren’t breaking up any time soon.

AnnaLynne McCord tells us the 90210 cast just found out last week, and “It’s really bad.” Hit the comments with your guesses as to who it is or who you want it to be! As for Naomi in the upcoming second season, AnnaLynne teases, “Obviously there was a horrible ending for poor Naomi. She is over Liam, and she is over Annie. She goes through the first half of the season really trying to prove that to herself. Yes, as we reported before, Robert Buckley has joined the cast of One Tree Hill as a sports agent turned friend of Nathan Scott (James Lafferty). On his new role Robert tells E! News exclusively, “I’m thrilled to be joining the One Tree Hill family and look forward to bringing this new character to the show.”

It’s too early to say for sure, but our sources tell us that next year on Gossip Girl does not look like the Year of “Dan Serena Dan Serena whoo!” At this point it looks like you can expect more of a brother-sister vibe from Dan and Serena (remember, they do share a half-sibling, Chris Riggi‘s Scott), rather than a whole epic love story thing, à la Chuck and Blair.

Rachel in Seattle: Is Georgina going to be Blair’s roommate next season on Gossip Girl?
While we know Michelle Trachtenberg is tied to NBC’s new medical drama, Mercy, she will be causing some trouble for Blair. Leighton Meester tells us, “Blair is going to NYU, so she might have some trouble there on her own regardless, but maybe Georgina will be coming in to stir some stuff up. I really like working with her, so it’s good.”

Could Johnny Drama be starring in the new 90210? Entourage is now casting for a TV producer who had a major hit teen series in the ’90s and is trying to get Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) to appear in the remake.

Rachel in Denver, Colo.: Any scoop on the aftermath of Annie killing someone in the 90210 finale?
We asked Annie’s (Shenae Grimes) 90210 co-star Jessica Stroup that very question: “Of course it’s going to change Annie inevitably. She’s going to be a totally different character. I think next year is going to be amazing for her because she’s going to go through a lot of changes with this character and down some really, really dark roads. I hope, at least, that it affects every one of us. I know that it’s going to affect all the characters, but I hope it brings us back together at some point as a whole group.”
