I know you Chair fans have been in a funk since May, when Chuck the Basshole did you know what with you know who (for shame!), but I finally have a ray of hope to offer…I can tell you exclusively that Chuck and Blair will have, um, relations, of the bom-chicka-bow-wow kind during the upcoming season. At least, that’s what my sources are saying. Whether they will actually get back together, well…that I cannot say, sorry. But still, that’s a pretty major reason to keep tuning in, right?

So what exactly has Brad been up to since we last saw him in the season five premiere? “He revealed he may be a hermaphrodite ’cause he tells Robin, ‘I’m a little different down there,’ So maybe deeper into the mystery of what Brad is,” Joe suggested. “We need to figure out what Brad is. We’re figuring out who the mother is and what exactly Brad is. It’s kind of the b-plot of the show, ‘What is Brad?'” B-plot?! Psh, we’re promoting the Brad mystery to the A-plot. Trust us, you are definitely not the only one catching the pair’s meaningful stares and ever-growing connection, but there might be someone standing in their way when this guiltiest of guilty pleasures returns, and that someone ain’t his estranged wife, Ella (Holly Marie Combs). We caught up with Amanda Schull, aka Byron’s former mistress Meredith, who tells us fans will be seeing more of her in the second half of the season: “As far as I know I will be [back]. I don’t know the details of that but I know that the story line, especially the story lines in the book say I will be.” Well, according to the books she’s around for a (pregnant pause)… long time. Oops, was that too obvious?
Monica: Hi! Any scoop on 90210?
Michael Steger tells us: “I show up in a Ferrari, I got rid of the Lamborghini, so I am driving a new car to school on the first day.” Jessica Lowndes: “My new character is no longer in high school, she’s touring and singing, so there’s a lot more music, which has been a lot of fun.” And Matt Lanter: “There’s always drama, love triangles, I’ve got a half-brother coming in. There’s a big earthquake that happens in episode one, so it kind of affects everybody, it’s kind of fun.” By the way, Matt stars as the Robert Pattison in the new spoof movie Vampires Suck and jokes about his anticipated reaction from Twilight fans: “I got a couple extra deadbolts on my door just as a precaution, but so far, I haven’t needed ’em.”

Well, Bill Lawrence has asked his cast if they have any friends who want to guest star, and Busy Philipps tells her famous bestie may be on board! “Michelle Williams and I were talking about how hilarious it would be if she came on and played my sister,” she laughs. “I don’t think her agents are going to go for it though.” Um, we are! A Dawson’s Creek reunion is long overdue, don’tcha think? I wonder what that Joey girl is up to?
Benny in Rhode Island: On Gossip Girl, what’s the deal with Serena’s new love interest? Does this mean Serena-Dan and Serena-Nate are over?
I’m told that the Dan-Serena-Nate triangle is definitely not over. The new squeeze is played by Sam Page and he isn’t the kind of guy she usually dates. Thoughts? Which guy are you rooting for?
On 90210, can you say who the guy who is going to come out of the closet is? Will he have a love interest? Also, what’s up with the rapist teacher guy? Is he out?
No, I can’t name the gay character (sorry—I’m glad you asked, but I can’t tell!) but I can tell you he definitely will have a love interest, and actor Kyle Riabko has been cast to fill the tole. As for Mr. Cannon, I’m told he’ll be Silver’s senior advisor. Dun dun dun.
Brandon: Anything else on 90210?
How about an Entourage-ish crossover? Naomi is going throw a crazy-lavish 18th birthday party early in the season and Adrian Grenier‘s band Honey Brothers has officially been named the house band. Pretty cool, huh?
Heather: Anything on True Blood? Will Joe Manganiello be back on One Tree Hill at all?
He told us he’d love to, and he has the space in his schedule, but I’m told there’s no talk right now of him returning, sorry! But at least you get to seen him scantily clad in an upcoming ep of True Blood…Which some of you probably won’t hate.
Zach in Santa Clara, Calif.: What is the deal with the two universes on Fringe and what does it mean for Joshua Jackson that Peter doesn’t have an alternate?
You can file this under no good, very bad news: Josh is only in every other episode. The artist formerly known as Pacey Witter himself told us he isn’t in the season premiere and he’s not in any of the odd-numbered episodes. Blasphemy! Why are the powers that be doing this to us, you ask? We spoke with his co-star Lance Reddick who spilled that, “Every other episode is going to be either one universe or the other. So, they’re going to be alternating universes at least for the first half of the season.” On the bright side, at least Josh now has more time to plan next year’s Pacey-Con, and that upcoming guest stint on The Vampire Diaries.

Yes, it’s true! Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Mia (Kate Voegele) will swing by to see Cate (Shiri Appleby) at the radio station for some nice crossover love on the Oct. 12 episode of LUX. I’m told the CW execs are hoping to get the OTH crowd fully sucked into LUX—as you should be!
Enough Chuck and Blair! I want the goods on Rufus and Lily, the best couple on television. What’s up for them thi season? Also, is Michele Trachtenberg going to be a regular?
I’m told that Michele is not a series regular, though we’ll definitely be seeing her in the beginning of the season, obviously. And as for Rufus and Lily, not a whole lot of major action going on there in the beginning of the season. But stay tuned!
Drew: Is the baby really Dan’s on Gossip Girl? Will Jenny Humphrey be back?
No comment re: the baby. But think about it! As for Little J, yes, she will return.
Anything good coming up on Gossip Girl?
Well, when I asked a good show source if there’s hope for Chuck and Blair he said “Of course,” so take that for what you will. Meanwhile, in real life, our very own Hollywood Party Girl is reporting at Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick have reunited into full-fledged coupledom. Guess he doesn’t really care that just last week, Jessica was swapping spit with another gal (and we know this little gem thanks in large part to our partner in crime Marc Malkin). I wish Kristen Bell‘s voice was narrating all this cause it’d be far more fascinating…

And as for that sicko teacher, Michael says: “It’s a pretty intense storyline, and he’s still around.” Still very much around, we’re hearing.
Reggie: Is it true that one of the main guys will be gay on 90210 this season?
Yes, it is.
Nevin in Atlanta: Good lord, True Blood is offing people left and right! Can you tell us what’s coming up next?
You’ve probably heard 90210‘s Michael Steger is stopping by True Blood later this season, and this new gig is a far cry from his West Bev sleuth. “I’m a drug runaway who has a very interesting trade that feeds into his drug addiction and his lifestyle.,” Michael tells us. “It’s a really dark youth and he’s just a lost soul. I meet the King of Mississippi, and I resemble his love of 700 years. They have an interesting chemistry.” Whoa, whoa, whoa—what about Talbot?!

Ahhh, Gossip Girl and the games they play. First, let us remind you that we should all be rejoicing! Chuck Bass is alive and well after that near-fatal finale. He is seriously rockin’ that cane too, might we add. Now here’s what we can tell you: The bulk of what’s getting out on the interwebs from Gossip Girl‘s shoot in Paris is mainly Chuck and his new gal-pal, and Blair and Serena pushing each other into fountains. But we have it on good authority that B and C will in fact reunite in the City of Light; there are some discussions to be had. Don’t expect the two to head back to NYC all lovey-dovey, but maybe, just maybe Blair will begin to forgive Chuck for his Jenny-wandering ways.

Sorry, “Chair” lovers. Sources just confirmed to us the news that the Gossip Girl powers that be have cast the role of Eva, Chuck’s new lady. Clémence Poésy, a French actress best known for her role as Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter movies, is signed on for multiple episodes. We’re told she will just be a recurring character and not a series regular. So, don’t set fire to your “Chuck + Blair = Love” signs just yet.
Megan in Wrightwood, Calif.: Is Georgina really, truly pregnant on Gossip Girl or is she faking it?
Yessirree. Michelle Trachtenberg told us this when asked that very Q: “Yes, and I’m trying to spread the rumor that I actually was pregnant so that everybody could start talking about how great I look after the baby. Not yet, but another Dawson‘s alum has enlisted my help in securing a spot on Vampire Diaries, and this time Life Unexpected‘s Kerr Smith is the culprit. “When you interview Kevin today, will you ask him?,” he asked me at The CW Upfronts. “I would love to play a vampire!” Hope Kev’s taking notes!
Breanne in New York City: I’m such a fan of the Huge novels, but am a little ambivalent about the new ABC Family series. Any words of encouragement?
My advice to you is to go in with an open mind, and know that Huge is not exactly the same as the novels you know and love. That said, it’s fun summer fare and definitely something to fill the void while all your other faves are MIA. And Gina Torres (of Angel and Firefly fame) is absolutely fab in one of the few adult roles on the show.
