- TVGuide.com has spoilers on the 90210 premiere. And let me just say: it’s been done before (on the original and another teen drama). And let me also say that with this and the spoilers from earlier today, I am significantly POed.
- Luke Perry (Dylan, Beverly Hill 90210) will star in and executive produce Goodnight For Justice, a Hallmark Movie Channel film, which will be directed by Jason Priestley (Brandon, Beverly Hills 90210). Check out the press release while I try to resume breathing. Worth noting, though, that the plot is similar to one of Perry’s season 5 storylines.
- MTV made a (funny to me, since they’ll likely never ever happen) list of projects Perry and Priestley should also team up on.
- The Miami Herald has an interview with Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210).
- Nicole By OPI has launched a Gossip Girl-inspired line of nail polish.
- Billy Baldwin (William, Gossip Girl) will reportedly have a recurring role on Parenthood, which also stars Peter Krause (Jay, Beverly Hills 90210).
- Chad Michael Murray (Lucas, One Tree Hill) will star in The Ex-Mas Carol, an ABCFamily movie.
- The Conspirator, which features Cullen Moss (Junk, One Tree Hill) as discussed in our interview, will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
- Examiner.com has an interview with Ashley Rickards (Sam, One Tree Hill).
- Here is the aforementioned Pacey-Con video for FunnyorDie.com with Joshua Jackson (Pacey, Dawson’s Creek). Before I pass out from all of today’s excitement with my favorite teen drama guys, I have to say that vid was the best thing I’ve seen in a long, long time.

Spoiler: Watch With Kristin
8 06 2010RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!
Boyd in Maui: Any word on whether or not Joshua Jackson will really guest star on Vampire Diaries?
Not yet, but another Dawson‘s alum has enlisted my help in securing a spot on Vampire Diaries, and this time Life Unexpected‘s Kerr Smith is the culprit. “When you interview Kevin today, will you ask him?,” he asked me at The CW Upfronts. “I would love to play a vampire!” Hope Kev’s taking notes!
Breanne in New York City: I’m such a fan of the Huge novels, but am a little ambivalent about the new ABC Family series. Any words of encouragement?
My advice to you is to go in with an open mind, and know that Huge is not exactly the same as the novels you know and love. That said, it’s fun summer fare and definitely something to fill the void while all your other faves are MIA. And Gina Torres (of Angel and Firefly fame) is absolutely fab in one of the few adult roles on the show.

Notes:
Kevin refers to Dawson’s Creek creator and TVD EP Kevin Williamson. Jackson and Smith, of course, played Pacey and Jack, respectively, on Dawson’s Creek.
Torres played Gabrielle on Gossip Girl. Huge also stars Zander Eckhouse, son of James Eckhouse (Jim, Beverly Hills 90210).

23 03 2010- Be sure to check out The CW’s site for all the new video content this week.
- Last night’s Gossip Girl (1.9 million viewers rounded up) rose a bit in the ratings compared to last week.
- Josh Schwartz (creator, Gossip Girl; The O.C.) and Stephanie Savage (creator, Gossip Girl; executive producer, The O.C.) have signed a deal to form their own production company, Fake Empire, under Warner Bros. TV.

- Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl), Sebastian Stan (Carter, Gossip Girl), Michael Cassidy (Zach, The O.C.) and whoever else was in the running for Captain America have not gotten the part. Chris Evans was offered and has accepted the role. News Roundup: Gossip Girl, The O.C., 90210 and One Tree Hill
16 03 2010- Last night’s Gossip Girl (1.7 million viewers) stayed the same in the ratings compared to last week, making that two weeks in a row with a record-low. Meanwhile, Life Unexpected had a nice increase in ratings, which The CW (rightfully) bragged about in a press release, while also spinning GG’s numbers.
- At work today, Gossip Cop and I busted Access Hollywood and OK! Magazine for citing one of the fake Twitter accounts for Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl).
- Zap2it has an interview with Aaron Tveit (Tripp, Gossip Girl), mostly about Ugly Betty.
- Hilary Duff (Olivia, Gossip Girl) and Chris Carmack (Luke, The O.C.) star in the TV movie Beauty & The Briefcase, which will air on ABCFamily April 18.
- Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan, The O.C.) wrote a piece for TVGuide.com about tonight’s episode of Southland. Apparently this is the third week he’s done this. News to me!
- Bonnie Somerville (Rachel, The O.C.) and Matt Lanter (Liam, 90210) each participated in a short trivia game with DailyFill, where the questions happened to be predominantly about our teen dramas!
- The CW Source, BuzzSugar and TeenTelevision.com have spoilish interviews with Tristan Wilds (Dixon, 90210).
- Alloy and TV.com have spoilish interviews with Michael Steger (Navid, 90210). Really not happy with the factually-inaccurate and insulting answer he gave to the last question in the latter one. (BTW, have you read my interview with him?)
- Crushable.com has a post highlighting “5 Dudes Who Are Way Too Old To Be Playing Teenagers on TV,” including Trevor Donovan (Teddy, 90210) and making references to Steger and Andrea (Gabrielle Carteris, Beverly Hills 90210).
- The Walshes ranked 49th in TV Guide Magazine’s list of Top 50 TV Families.
- For the week of February 22, One Tree Hill had one of the top 10 biggest gains when DVR ratings were factored in.
- Hilarie Burton (Peyton, One Tree Hill) posted a new vlog earlier this month on the SoGoPro site.
- Kate Voegele (Mia, One Tree Hill) is going on tour with Jordin Sparks.
- Michaela McManus (Lindsey, One Tree Hill) has been cast as one of the leads in the CW pilot Nomads.

News Roundup: Gossip Girl, 90210 and One Tree Hill
9 03 2010- The Daily Beast has an interesting post about people 30ish and older watching teen dramas.
- Be sure to check out The CW’s site for all the new video content this week.
- Last night’s Gossip Girl (1.7 million viewers) dropped quite significantly in the ratings compared to the last episode and dropped to what I’m pretty sure is a series-low. Also noteworthy: A) this is lower than One Tree Hill’s series-low a few weeks ag0 (though OTH usually outperforms GG to begin with), B) this is lower than Life Unexpected’s ratings for last night, and C) the GG and LUX ratings are both significantly lower than the ratings ABCFamily’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Make It Or Break It got.
- Parade.com has an interview with Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl).
- Hilary Duff (Olivia, Gossip Girl) is writing a book series for young adults.
- Brittany Snow (Young Lily, Gossip Girl) has been cast in Kindreds, an NBC pilot.
- Korbi has a video interview with Jessica Stroup (Silver, 90210).
- The CW Source has a spoiler-filled video interview with Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna, 90210). (Not sure why Zap2it has it and I can’t find it on the Source’s site or YT page.)
- The CW Source also has a second part to their interview with Michael Steger (Navid, 90210).
- Starpulse has an article on Steger.
- The official One Tree Hill Twitter account will be tweeting videos each day as the show films in Utah and continuing until the hiatus ends on April 26.
