Bruce in Miami: Is Naomi going to hook up with Rumer Willis’ character on 90210 this season?
If AnnaLynne McCord has any say in it, heck yes! “Maybe Naomi gets a little drunk, maybe she has a little peck on the lips with Rumer. It can’t hurt anybody.” As for N’s overall mean-girl status this season, AnnaLynne promises: “I’m a lot funnier and a lot nicer this year.”

  • Apparently if you were purchasing your 90210 season one DVD at Target, you were supposed to get a bonus DVD with an exclusive interview but there was a mix up and that didn’t happen.
  • Shenae Grimes (Annie, 90210) discussed her character with the Los Angeles Times.
  • According to E!Online’s gossip columnist, AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi, 90210) but Kellan Lutz (George 90210) have broken up–which makes no sense, since they’ve both said they were never dating in the first place.
  • Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly  Hills 90210) spoke about Twilight’s Rob Pattinson at an event last week.
  • In an interview with AccessHollywood.com, Jason Priestley (Brandon, Beverly Hills 90210) compares The Lake to 90210, and definitively states he won’t be appearing on the spin-off.
  • Degrassi’s Lauren Collins said the original 90210 “reigns supreme.”
  • Kristin and Ausiello have spoilish Gossip Girl info on the new season.
  • Sonic Youth will appear on Gossip Girl’s fifth episode of the new season.

  • MTV News has another article with Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl), seemingly from the same Teen Choice interview.
  • Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and 90210 are all nominated for Best Kiss in The CW Sourcies.
  • Eclipse Magazine has an interview with One Tree Hill creator, Mark Schwahn.
  • The Wrap explains the origins of the Brooke (Sophia Bush, One Tree Hill)-Julian (Austin Nichols, One Tree Hill) making out on the beach promo.
  • Everly, the band that Bethany Joy Galeotti (Haley, One Tree Hill) plays in, has started a Twitter account.
  • Kate Voegele (Mia, One Tree Hill) did a video segment for MySpace Fashion.
  • SoapNet appears to have updated their One Tree Hill 101 photo gallery.
  • SoapNet will be airing a mini-marathon of One Tree Hill episodes this weekend.  I’ll post a reminder Sunday morning.

  • There’s a new 90210 promo for the upcoming season.
  • Zachary Ray Sherman will appear on 90210 this season as Jasper.  The article elaborates on the spoilish story I posted last month.  As a commenter pointed out, there was already a Jasper on Beverly Hills 90210.

  • In the August 7 issue of Entertainment Weekly, the mag takes a snipe at Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl): “Taylor Momsen says ‘I would eat a boy my age alive.’ Well, at least she’d be eating something.” (Momsen’s quote is from her Teen Vogue interview.)

  • Victoria (Daphne Zuniga, One Tree Hill) and Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg, Gossip Girl) are up for The Bitch is Back award in the Sourcies.
  • According to the above link, neither Leyton or Blair & Chuck won in the Finally! It’s About Time category.

  • Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly Hills 90210) will be back on 90210 next season for “multiple episodes,” according to Ausiello.
  • John Schneider has been cast as Liam’s (Matt Lanter, 90210) step-father.  Fun fact: Apparently Schneider got awfully close with AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi, 90210) on Nip/Tuck.

  • PEOPLE.com also has another poll asking “which starlet do you want to watch on The CW?” with the options being Hilary Duff (Olivia, Gossip Girl), Rumer Willis (Gia, 90210) or Ashlee Simpson (Melrose Place).
  • As I could’ve told you all along (which is why I didn’t post anything suggesting it), AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi, 90210) and Kellan Lutz (George, 90210) are not together!
  • I don’t think Dawson’s Creek is on TV anywhere anymore (sniff sniff) but I just found this site that has a couple of episodes you can watch from the first 3 seasons.

Amy in Pittsburgh: So excited Gossip Girl is back in production! What can you tell us?!
Sorry, Hilary Duff haters, but Duff joins the Gossip Girl cast as movie star Olivia, and she’ll be getting her movie-star cooties on the entire cast, not just Vanessa and Dan. Also on Gossip Girl this season, Chuck and Blair are totally getting married and having a million babies. (OK, not that, but they are staying tight. Yay!) And believe it or not, the show really is trending away from “Dan and Serena are the one true pairing of Gossip Girl.” Certainly, that arc might turn back sometime in the future, but for now the show is trying to establish their separate identities, apart from their on-again, off-again shenanigans. Is that great news or the worst thing you’ve ever heard? Post in the comments!

Gervase in Montreal, Quebec: Thanks for the interview with Blake Lively about Papa van der Woodsen. Are we actually going to see Serena’s dad this season on Gossip Girl?
TV Diva’s Magic 8-ball says: It is decidedly so. We will finally meet Serena’s dad this season on Gossip Girl.

As far as Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Annie (Shenae Grimes) being best buds in the second season (something some of you would like to see), AnnaLynne says, “Never. Not going to happen. I’m sorry. I wish.”

Marianne in Toluca Lake, Calif.: Any scoop on 90210? I’m in for the long haul.
Michael Steger tells us, “They’re talking about renovating the Blaze newsroom, so it’s going to be where everything happens and everybody meets up. They’re going to make it very loungey, very comfortable.” (The Blaze newsroom is where we’ll meet Rumer Willis‘ character when she guests in a season-two episode.)
