Like Nichols did for his character, Sophia Bush (Brooke, One Tree Hill) has started a Twitter account for hers, under the name @BDavis_Baker.

ABC has ordered a pilot from Fake Empire, which is run by Josh Schwartz (executive producer, Gossip Girl; The O.C.) and Stephanie Savage (executive producer, Gossip Girl; The O.C.). The show, which Schwartz and Savage will produce, sounds awfully like the failed CW pilot Body Politic, which starred Brian Austin Green (David, Beverly Hills 90210).
Gossip Cop busted a fabricated Perez Hilton story about Rachel Bilson (Summer, The O.C.) supposedly dating Jake Gyllenhaal.
Jackson Rathbone (Justin, The O.C.) has been cast in No Ordinary Family, which stars Autumn Reeser (Taylor, The O.C.) and is executive produced by Greg Berlanti (writer-producer, Dawson’s Creek).

Bush and Nichols seem to be announcing new Gulf Coast-related projects and contests multiple times a week, so make sure you keep checking their Twitter accounts.
Bush will be honored this weekend by Reality Cares, though she won’t be there in-person to accept the award.

The next category in The CW Sourcies is Most Surprising Moment. Among the nominees: finding out Dan and Rachel are married on One Tree Hill, finding out Ryan is the father of Jen’s baby on 90210, finding out Chuck slept with Jenny and Georgina’s pregnant on Gossip Girl.
Blair Redford has been cast as Oscar, the previously mentioned friend to Ivy (Gillian Zinser, 90210) that comes to stay with her.
AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi, 90210) hosted the Inaugural Thirst Project Gala earlier this week, which was attended by Ryan Eggold (Ryan, 90210).
John Schneider (Jeffrey, 90210) will return to Smallville for at least one episode in the new and final season.
Dean McDermott, husband to Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210), has a punctured and collapsed lung after an accident earlier this week.
