RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Please give me some scoop about Jenny’s return to Gossip Girl! —Giovanni
Ausiello:
I was right. Jenny reappearance is directly connected to Tim Gunn’s upcoming cameo. Turns out Blair permits her nemesis to return to the scene of her last crime (i.e. Manhattan) just long enough for her to interview for a job with Gunn at Parsons. Without giving too much away, Raccoon Eyes inadvertently gets caught up in Chuck and Blair’s latest drama, and the whole mess comes to a head at (natch) a big fancy party.

Question: I will literally take anything you’ve got on One Tree Hill. —Jasmine
Ausiello:
A major-ish character is going to do some time in the slammer this season. That’s literally all I’ve got.

  • ABC has ordered a pilot from Fake Empire, which is run by Josh Schwartz (executive producer, Gossip Girl; The O.C.) and Stephanie Savage (executive producer, Gossip Girl; The O.C.). The show, which Schwartz and Savage will produce, sounds awfully like the failed CW pilot Body Politic, which starred Brian Austin Green (David, Beverly Hills 90210).

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Some Gossip Girl scoop regarding Rufus and Lily, please. They’re my favorite couple, and we’ve heard nothing about them. —Sly
Ausiello:
A certain rat Bass-tard is going to come between them early in the season—relax, I’m not talking romantically. While Lily is more than willing to forgive Chuck for what happened with Jenny, Rufus is having a harder time moving past it. And just when he finally starts to come around, Eric lets him in on a little secret (hint: It pertains to an ugly incident from the pilot). Cue World War III.

Question: I fell in love with Dan and Vanessa last season on Gossip Girl. Needless to say, Dan’s out-of-nowhere “signs” about Serena in the finale threw me for a loop. Please say Dan and Vanessa aren’t over for good as a couple. —Sarah
Ausiello:
I’m guessing it’s not over, since they move in together in episode 3!

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Any new One Tree Hill scoop? —Ryan
Ausiello:
The rumors are true: Life is imitating art for Bethany Joy Galeotti, who’s expecting her first child this winter. There’s also buzz that Galeotti has informed One Tree Hill producers that she will not be sticking around beyond this season, but a source close to the show tells me that’s hogwash. (Yes, he/she actually used the word hogwash.)

Credit: EW.com

****

Note:

“Buzz” started with E! Online, which claimed that Galeotti “may opt not to return to the show beyond the current 12-episode order should the network want to extend the series’ run this season.” It said nothing about “beyond this season,” as Ausiello puts it. The issue is supposedly about this season. So is Ausiello purposefully not addressing the same issue but making it seem like he is or am I reading too much into this?

  • Penn Badgley (Dan, Gossip Girl) will present at the MTV Video Music Awards next month.

  • The Associated Press has an article about Vanessa Marcil (Gina, Beverly Hills 90210) returning to General Hospital.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Any more Gossip Girl scoops? I’m dying here! —Jessica
Ausiello:
The bitch is back and more powerful than ever. “Blair at NYU was like throwing a fish far, far out of water,” says exec producer Josh Schwartz. “I think [this season] you’ll see Blair with her power back, with her swagger back, back in her game, but still troubled by thoughts of Mr. Bass. The Chuck/Blair relationship—whether they’re together or not—will always be a huge drive to the show emotionally.”

Question: Any juicy and/or shocking news about the new season of Desperate Housewives? —Arno
Ausiello:
Stop me if you’ve heard this one: More than one cougar will be preying on Brian Austin Green’s handyman character. I’m told both Bree (Marcia Cross) and Renee (Vanessa Williams) will sink their claws into the artist formerly known as David Silver this fall.

Note:

Green, of course, played David on Beverly Hills 90210. Coincidentally, Cross was on Melrose Place, a BH90210 spin-off that Green also appeared on (as David).

As a matter of fact I do. Her name is Juliet Sharp.

Question: One Tree Hill scoop demanded. Let’s be real. Will Lucas and Peyton ever return to Tree Hill? —Taylor
Ausiello:
If this turns out to be the soap’s final season, I’d say there’s an 80 percent chance both will be back in the series finale.

Question: Why is it that there is still no juicy spoilerific scoop on One Tree Hill‘s new season? —Johnny
Ausiello:
Um…. did you not see my spoiler last week about three longtime series regulars being killed off in the season premiere? You’re looking for something bigger than that? Okay, here it goes: Look for Victoria and Millicent to jeopardize the future of Brooks company. (BTW, that first part about the three series regulars getting whacked was a joke. It’s okay to laugh.)
