- According to the new issue of Soap Opera Weekly, Vanessa Marcil (Gina, Beverly Hills 90210) is once again “in talks” with General Hospital. I haven’t read the article. (You’ll notice Zack Conroy is also on the cover. He appeared on one episode of Gossip Girl as Ben, the guy Blair meets at the airplane when Chuck stands her up in the season 1 finale).
- Star News has an article on One Tree Hill’s success this year, noting how the 7th season means it surpassed Dawson’s Creek as Wilmington’s longest running show. It also made OTH the second longest running teen drama.
- Jana Kramer (Alex, One Tree Hill) tweeted that she’s engaged. Her fiance, Johnathon Schaech tweeted it as well. Brett Claywell (Tim, One Tree Hill) posted well wishes to them on Facebook.

22 12 2009- Just found out Jessica Szohr (Vanessa, Gossip Girl) stars in Daughtry’s music video for “Over You.” This song meant the world to me a few years ago so I decided to look up the video on a whim and there she was!
- Kellan Lutz (George, 90210), Sophia Bush (Brooke, One Tree Hill) and Maria Menounos (Jules, One Tree Hill) are all featured on Nick News with Linda Ellerbee: Kids to the Rescue! Helping Homeless Animals, which airs Sunday night.

- Emmanuelle Vaugier (Nicki, One Tree Hill) has joined the cast of Human Target.

- Josh Schwartz, creator of both Gossip Girl and The O.C., gave Entertainment Weekly his picks for the decade’s best music.
- Gossip Girl’s riff on The O.C.’s season 3 cliff-hanger in last week’s episode, though apparently quite common, was criticized in at least 2 recaps.
- WEEKEND named The O.C. one of the best shows of the decade.
- Rachel Bilson (Summer, The O.C.) is featured on the cover of a magazine whose name I can’t even read.
- Bilson is in a disturbingly graphic but slightly funny new Funny or Die video.
- The Post-Tribune has a feature on Peter Gallagher (Sandy, The O.C.) and his one-man show.

- Kristin has Gossip Girl spoilers.
- The Vanessa-Olivia aspect of the Gossip Girl threesome and Alex-Marissa on The O.C. are included in E! Online’s Hot Girl-on-Girl Action gallery.
- The O.C.’s Chrismukkah episodes made TVGuide.com’s list of Best Holiday and Christmas TV Episodes.
- It figures: when I move away from Chicago, Peter Gallagher (Sandy, The O.C.) starts doing solo-shows there. Darn! (I did pass him on my campus once but realized too late that it was him!)
- One of the tabloids has a short piece on a “Dawson’s Creek love curse.” (See image 7.) Notably and conveniently absent is Joshua Jackson (Pacey) since he happens to be in a committed relationship.
