EPISODE 2.11: And Away They Go!

• Previously on: Silver tells Kelly Jackie is dying, Teddy tells Silver his mom died, Jackie dies, Jen admires a horse, Jen tells Naomi she’s getting divorced and needs $100,000 for the lawyer, Jen buys the racehorse with Naomi’s money, Liam tells Ivy about his Jen’s problem, Liam vows to destroy Jen, Teddy says he will help, Adrianna buys drugs from Jasper, Annie says Jasper isn’t a drug deal and Dixon said Navid says he is, Harry tells Annie she can’t see Jasper anymore, Jasper tells Navid he’s not a drug dealer but if he was he wouldn’t be the kind of guy you want to mess with, Jasper pushes Navid down the stairs
• Navid wakes up in the hospital. His parents are ecstatic.
• He says his head and arm hurts. He broke his arm and has a concussion.
• The nurse/doctor says he’s lucky.
• Naomi, Teddy, Dixon Liam and Ivy come to visit. Why would Naomi be with them??
• Navid asks where Adrianna is. Naomi reminds him that he isn’t with Adrianna anymore.
• His mom asks if remembers what happened–how he got hurt.
• He says he was at the Blaze editing a story. He left the office, walked down the hallway and was on his way to Calculus and then…he doesn’t remember.
• Dixon looks suspicious.
• Navid’s dad points out that the doctor said memory loss was possible.
• He said he’s tired and they let him rest.
• Adrianna wakes up when her phone beeps. She seems hung over.
• It’s a text from Naomi asking where she is and saying to call.
• Ade listens to her voicemail. It’s from Naomi, apparently from the other day, because it says that Silver’s mom is in the hospital but she has no idea where she (Ade) is or why she’s been MIA.
• The next message is Naomi saying she still can’t reach her and Silver’s mom died and the funeral is tomorrow and it would be nice if Ade came.
• Ade is shocked and takes some pills as she listens.
• The next message is Naomi saying she doesn’t know why she’s even calling again but she should know Navid is in the hospital because he fell down the stairs at school and “it’s really not good.”
• See what happens when you do drugs and sleep, Ade?
• She hurridly puts on clothes and is about to leave  when she stops to grab her pills…and throws them out!
• Naomi is running down the hospital hallway and yells for the elevator to be held. She gets there and it’s Liam and Ivy. Awkward!
• Naomi and Ivy eye each other. It’s interesting to see them with such different clothing styles and looks.
• Liam says he thought she already left but she says she forgot her purse.
• Liam asks how Silver is and Naomi says she’s alright.
• Ivy asks where they parked–obviously trying to show that they at least came together.
• Adrianna shows up at Navid’s hospital room and asks how he is.
• He says “Worse than I’ve ever felt in my life but not too bad.” Hm, okay.
• Adrianna says he was right about her doing drugs and she was acting stupid. She says his accident was a “wake-up call” and she’s done with drugs forever.
• She admits what she said to him earlier was wrong and she didn’t mean it when she said she didn’t love him. She blames it on the drugs.
• Q1: You were the love of my life.–Adrianna
• Q2: When I woke up, you were the first person–the only person–I wanted to see. Then I remembered everything that happened between us. All of it. How could you? You should go.–Navid
• Ade looks crushed but she leaves.
• In class, Ryan tells everyone he needs their essays as they leave. Jen’s standing in the doorway.
• Q3: Aren’t they angsty enough? With all the hormones and the acne. Is existentialsm really necessary?–Jen
• Ryan’s shirt is a little too open for a school teacher.
• Jen comes on to him with some sexual innuendo and asks him what he’s doing this weekend.
• Ivy is about to come back in the classroom and sees them so she stops but listens.
• Jen says her horse is racing and he can join her and Naomi.
• Q4: Horses, champagne. My sister and I in very cute hats.–Jen
• Ryan agrees to go and they start kissing when Ivy interrupts, saying she forgot her book. She grabs it and leaves.
• She runs and finds Liam, saying she knows how to take Jen down.
• Naomi and Silver are in Silver’s garage/room.
• Apparently there was a shiva for Jackie. Um, why? She wasn’t Jewish!
• Silver asks if it’s OK they left and Naomi said it is and Kelly will be fine.
• Silver is surprised by all the people that were there that she never met and yet they were all “so sorry for my loss.” She says it’s all surreal.
• It’s kind of nice to see Naomi there with her now, in spite of their differences in years past. Reminds me of Blair-Serena, Brooke-Peyton, etc.
• Q5: I can’t believe my mom’s in a coffin.–Silver
• She also says she can’t believe Adrianna wasn’t there. She blames the drugs.
• There’s a knock at the door. All that’s there are pink roses in a vase.
• The card is from Teddy, apologizing for not going to the funeral and saying he’s thinking of her.
• Hm. Why didn’t he go?
• Naomi asks the same question, pointing out that at the hospital, he was all dressed up.
• Annie is talking to Jasper about Navid. She’s heard from different people that he fainted, had a seizure, etc.
• Jasper asked what Navid said and Annie answers that her dad went in the ambulance and Navid was out of it.
• He cuts her off when she continues to say what her dad says, because he only cares about what Navid said.
• She apologizes for bringing up her dad, given how dinner went. She says she’s not going to let her parents come between them.
• He just says he needs to go to class and leaves her confused.
• Teddy is hitting tennis balls from the roof of a building when Silver interrupts.
• She thanks him for the flowers and asks how he’s doing.
• He points out that he should be asking her that but she says she’s asking him.
• He said he didn’t come because he can’t “do funerals.” He says he doesn’t know what’s wrong with him.
• Silver says it’s okay, saying he barely knew her mother.
• Well, they did have that bonding session two episodes ago…
• He says he didn’t go to his mom’s funeral, which surprises Silver.
• He says he couldn’t although he tried. When he got to the church, he couldn’t get out of the car like “a coward.”
• Silver tells him he’s not a coward and hugs him.
• It’s a really sweet moment but what a sad way to bond!
• He apologizes again, saying he wanted to be there for her.
• Q6: You were. You are.–Silver
• He kisses her and she accepts!
• But then she pulls away and they both apologize.
• Teddy says they’re both going through a lot, making them vulnerable.
• Q7: You know, since we did kiss, you’re kind of my boyfriend now.–Silver
• He totally freaks. It’s kind of funny but not in light of Adrianna. Seems more like something Ivy would say, anyway.
• Adrianna’s back at school when Jasper comes up. She asks him what he wants and he asks if she’s “running low.”
• She says she’s done with drugs and Jasper says that’s “impressive.”
• He asks about Navid and Ade says he’s still in the hospital.
• Jasper asks if he fell down the stairs and Jasper says he doesn’t remember what happened.
• When she turns around, Jasper’s gone.
• He’s run over to Annie and kissed her. He must be happy to be free and clear.
• He apologizes for being a “dick” earlier. He says her parents not liking him sent him “into a dark place” and Annie says she understands and not to worry.
• Q8: “Nobody else matters as long as we have each other.” “Which we do.”–Annie and Jaspe
• She leaves for class and walks into Harry, who obviously saw them together. He says they need to talk when school is over.
• Ivy says she’s been thinking about the Jen thing and asks Liam if he’s doing this because he still likes Naomi.
• He immediately says no and that’s it because Jen has been lying for months and that’s a good enough reason.
• He apologizes to her and she apologizes to him and they kiss.
• What happened to just being friends with benefits?  Seems more like BF-GF to me.
• Teddy interrupts them, clearly surprised.
• Q9: I knew you guys were close but I didn’t know how close!–Teddy
• Liam says it’s not a big deal and Ivy agrees, saying they just hang out.
• Liam tells Teddy they’re not a “couple-couple” so to keep it on the “down-low.”
• Q10: So don’t tweet about it, pretty boy, okay?–Ivy
• Funny, since Trevor Donovan is actually on Twitter.
• Debbie and Harry are telling Annie they told her not to see Jasper anymore.
• She says it’s school–she’s going to run into him.
• Harry reminds her that she was kissing him.
• Annie accuses him of spying and he says he’s just being the principal.
• She says he can control her at home but not at school. Hmm.
• Debbie says yes, they can control her outside of school and she’s grounded.
• Naomi and Silver are dressing up in Jackie’s old clothes. Why, I don’t know.
• Silver realizes she needs to re-join the “real world” soon and Naomi does a funny little dance.
• Adrianna comes in and they’re both shocked and not happy to see her.
• Ade apologizes for being a “really terrible friend” and wants to make it up to her.
• Q11: Ade, stop. You want to be a good friend for Silver? Leave her alone. What Silver needs right now is friends she can rely on and clearly that’s not you.–Naomi
• Sounds like something Jen would say. Two peas in a pod?
• Ade starts crying and Silver just stands there. Can’t she speak for herself?
• Back at home, Adrianna gets her pills out of the garbage and then flushes them down the toilet.
• Annie and Dixon start to fight in the kitchen.
• Debbie comes in asking what their plans are for the day.
• Annie says she has study group but she’s grounded so can’t go but Debbie says she can.
• Dixon says his plans are  just “hanging out with my friends.”
• Debbie takes Annie to school and she says she’ll find her own ride home.
• Debbie leaves and Jasper pulls up and Annie hops in.
• How very Brenda and Dylan of them!

• Now we’re at the racetrack. BH90210 did an episode at one, too. Different pretenses, though.
• Jen and Naomi go to see her horse. She gives the horse a pep talk and tells Naomi to do it, too.
• The jockey hits on Naomi and she’s grossed out.
• Jen says the jockey, Danny, would be good for her and help take her mind off Liam.
• Q12: I didn’t realize you had the opportunity to smoke crack this morning.–Naomi
• Jen says she and Danny would be great together.
• Q13: Then you go date the flirty little Napoleon guy.–Naomi
• Naomi and Silver are getting food. Silver says she feels alright.
• Someone brings over a gift for Naomi from her secret admirer. It’s a scarf.
• Debbie brings laundry into Annie’s room and spots her textbook, the one she should need for study group.
• Q14: Who names a horse Daddy Loves Pumpernickel?–Silver
• In the box next to where they’re seated is Teddy, Ivy and Dixon. Naomi is surprised and disappointed to see them, particularly Ivy.
• Teddy is surprised, not knowing they were going to be there. But I imagine this is all part of the plan.
• Naomi and Ivy starts to badmouth each other to their respective friend(s).
• Q15: I’m not irked by Naomi. I just think she might suffer from brain damage swallowing all that lip gloss.–Ivy
• …she says while her own lips are perfectly coated.
• Dixon calls Teddy a player but then says he admires that he doesn’t let himself get “tied down.” He says “girls are nothin’ but trouble.”
• Ivy says guys are worse and Teddy, looking at Silver, says both of them are right and that relationships are trouble and he accepts that he’s a player.
• Naomi gets another gift from her secret admiring. It’s a necklace from Tiffany’s.
• She asks the guy if her the admirer is less than 5 feet tall and gets excited when the guy says he’s not. The guy says that’s all he can say and he’ll reveal himself in time.
• Annie and Jasper are making out in the car by the beach. Again, how very Brenda and Dylan of them!
• Q16: “I wouldn’t say you lied to your parents.” “How is that?” “Because you and I, we have great chemistry.”–Jasper and Annie
• Ivy tries to order a whiskey but the guy asks her for ID.
• Dixon wonders what’s taking Liam so long.
• Teddy says he’s probably still working with his phone.
• Dixon wonders how he could delete the evidence he had.
• Ivy says the tech guy she recommended will be able to help.
• Liam comes over and says they’re ready to go.
• Sitting nearby, listening, is Jen. She looks worried.
• Life UneXpected commercial. LUX stars Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek).
• Naomi and Jen are cheering on the horse.
• They can win $200,000 which excites Naomi because she thinks they got the horse for free.
• Ryan is surprised that someone would gift them a horse.
• The race starts and their horse wins. They’re ecstatic.
• Dixon sees Silver in the restaurant area. He goes over to her.
• He says he’s sorry about her mom and she thanks him for coming to the funeral.
• He blows it off as no big deal and she says it is a big deal and she feels bad for what happened at the end of last year, including kissing Ethan.
• Yay an Ethan mention!
• But isn’t water under the bridge? I mean, they already got back together…and broke up!
• Dixon says he forgives her and she says she misses him.
• Q17: You weren’t just my boyfriend. You were my friend.–Silver
• He says he misses her, too, and they hug.
• Teddy watches from afar, looking uncomfortable and jealous.
• Jen and Naomi are posing with the horse for pictures.
• Navid is still in the hospital and Adrianna comes by. She says she was at an AA meeting.
• She has answer to his question of “how could you?”.
• She explains that, even though she was sober when they were together, she still acted like an addict and being self-destructive. She screwed things up because there’s a part of her that doesn’t like when things are going well because she doesn’t feel like she deserves it. She recognizes that now and says she’s going to work on it and being sober will mean more than just not taking drugs.
• All he says is okay.
• She says she knows it’s too late for them but as she works on herself, if he decides he’s ready to be friends, she’s willing.
• He thanks her and she leaves.
• He’s about to call after her but doesn’t.
• Liam is in the restaurant area watching a TV scene of another race when Jen approaches and snatches his phone. She says they need to talk and he agrees.
• The guy brings Naomi another massive “prezzie.”
• Jen calls Liam out on her recording her with his phone, “like a little spy.”
• Q18: And what? You thought you’d play the recording for Naomi and she’d realize what a little big bad baddie I am?–Jen
• She asks if he has more copies and he says he’s tired of her bullying and Naomi deserves to know the truth.
• Q19: Please. That girl doesn’t know anything about anything and she never will. That’s one of the most charming qualities of my sister. Her naivete.–Jen
• It’s kind of true that Jen is smarter and definitely more cultured–but that’s not always a good thing.
• Naomi is gushing about her new hat, necklace and scarf. The guy leads her to a private room, where she’s to wait for the admirer.
• She positions herself on the couch all sexily.
• Outside the room, the guys texts Dixon that “the eagle has landed” and he waves an umbrella.
• Jen is still asking Liam if he has another recording and he doesn’t say anything. She smashes his phone and he looks away, as if he’s mad and sees the umbrella.
• Liam yells “screw you” really loudly and Jen jokes about his temper and calling his parents.
• Liam recounts what happened between them very loudly…because they are on the balcony of the room Naomi is in!
• She hears and moves towards the doors.
• Q20: If it makes it better, it’s not like I enjoyed it. I’ve slept with a lot of men, Liam, and you were very boring.–Jen
• Naomi opens the doors and Jen is shocked and Liam has a shy smirk on his face.
• Q21: It was you? I don’t ever want to see you again.–Naomi
• Jen is stunned into silence as leaves as Naomi holds back tears.
• Teddy, Ivy and Dixon and the guy run over to congratulate Liam.
• They joke how it was all very Ocean’s 11.
• Liam looks back and Naomi is sitting with her head in her lap. He’s not so happy anymore.
• Jen goes to Ryan, asking to leave and he’s clearly distressed.
• Q22: Dixon just told me something pretty messed up. I don’t want to believe it but did you have sex with your sister’s boyfriend?–Ryan
• Jen says the “kids have it out for me” but then she admits that it’s true.
• Q23: That was before I met you, Ryan. But you have changed me and if you have made me want to be a better person.–Jen
• The guy that sold her the horse comes over and congratulates her on the win, saying her purchase of the horse was a great investment.
• Q24: “I thought that horse was a gift.” “A gift she bought for herself.”–Ryan and the guy.
• He concludes she bought the horse with Naomi’s money and Naomi has no idea.
• Jen points out that he said that she could be honest with him about anything and he wouldn’t be scared off but Ryan says he was wrong and leaves.
• Jen is left standing alone, sad and shocked. With the music, it’s almost like we’re expected to have sympathy for her. No can do.
• Silver is comforting Naomi, who is crying and wondering what kind a sister–or any person–could do this. Silver says she doesn’t know and she’s there for her now, for whatever she needs.
• Naomi says she needs to talk to Liam. She gets up to go find him.
• Teddy spots Silver in the room but doesn’t go in.
• Ivy finds Liam sitting alone. She’s still excited about pulling it off.
• Q25: How can I be happy when Naomi is so unhappy?–Liam
• Aw.
• Ivy is clearly bothered. She points out that he should be happy for getting his revenge.
• They stand up to leave and he thanks her for helping, saying she was great. She jokes that she didn’t have anything better to do.
• She spots Naomi and kisses him. Naomi sees and takes off.
• Liam is caught off-guard and points out that they are in public and this isn’t keeping it on the down-low. Ivy shrugs it off, saying no one saw them.
• Annie is in her room listening to music when her parents come in. They ask her about study group. She, of course, lies and they call her out on it.
• Dixon comes in and says the chem book is his; he had been looking for it.
• Annie goes into Dixon’s room and thanks him for covering for her.
• He said he owed because he screwed up and should’ve apologized a while ago but they kept fighting. He says he’s sorry and says he should’ve believed her when she said she didn’t sleep with Liam.
• She asks why he believes her now and she says because Liam told him the truth–Liam had sex with Naomi’s sister. Annie is shocked and grossed out.
• Dixon wonders how siblings can be “so messed up” and they laugh. He says whenever they want to hang out or just talk, he’s here. She agrees and they hug and laugh.
• Q26: I lost the person I loved most in this world and now all I have left is a stupid horse.–Naomi
• Does she mean Liam or Jen? And should she be saying this to Silver who’s mom just DIED?!
• Silver says she’s going to get junk food for them to eat.
• Naomi takes out her phone and leaves a voicemail for someone.
• Q27: Hi, it’s Naomi. Please call me back. I owe you a very big apology. I’m so sorry, Annie.–Naomi
• Ivy is drawing on Navid’s cast. Liam is there, too.
• Navid is asking for details on the day. Liam is clearly distracted.
• Ivy suggests they go get food and jokes they can sneak Navid out. She shows him his sneakers and he starts to remember his accident.
• It flashesback to Jasper’s combat boots.
• Q28: Before I fell down the stairs, I was pushed. And I know who did it.–Navid
• Fade to black!
• Preview: It’s the Winter Wonderland Dance. Annie tells Jasper she used to love going to dances. Silver and Teddy are dancing (maybe ksising; it’s hard to see). Someone asks Liam if he’s going to ask Ivy to the dance. Teddy asks Silver. Liam asks Ivy. Naomi suggests to Silver they go tanning topless in anticipation.
