  • Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl) will be  a presenter at the VMAs, according to PEOPLE.com.
  • There is a Web site for the Gossip Girl Season 2 DVD.
  • Perez Hilton posted two Gossip Girl filming pics.
  • Tyra Banks tweeted about her upcoming Gossip Girl appearance.
  • Kelly Rutherford (Lily, Gossip Girl) has temporarily worked out her family-marital problems.
  • At the TCA Press Tour, CW exec Dawn Ostroff said the Gossip Girl spin-off is “unlikely” and a 90210-Melrose Place cross-over is possible.  There *could* be a different GG spin-off though.
  • The Wrap has an interesting interview with Ostroff.
  • Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna, 90210) will appear on America’s Next Top Model in October.
  • Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly Hills 90210) says she doesn’t want the schedule of being a show regular/lead anymore.
  • USA Today has an article on the Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210)/Candy Spelling drama.
  • Star News has two stories on TCA, including one with One Tree Hill photos and some details on the new season.
  • Dan (Paul Johansson, One Tree Hill) is included in a SoapNet photo gallery on characters accused of murder.
  • Ashton Kutcher said Mischa Barton (Marissa, The O.C.) continue on with The Beautiful Life and “is very prominent” on the show.  He also called The O.C. a “big soap opera.”
  • Ausiello described The Vampire Diaries as “Supernatural meets Twilight meets Dawson’s Creek.”  (It was created by Kevin Williamson, who also did DC.)

  • Chuck (Ed Westwick, Gossip Girl) and Blair (Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl) are nominated for Hottest Hook-Up in the Tubey Awards.
  • In the August 7 issue of Entertainment Weekly, the mag takes a snipe at Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl): “Taylor Momsen says ‘I would eat a boy my age alive.’ Well, at least she’d be eating something.” (Momsen’s quote is from her Teen Vogue interview.)
  • Also in that issue, Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl) is not “seriously campaigning to appear on screen.“
  • Celebrity-babies.com has an article on Kelly Rutherford (Lily, Gossip Girl) hiding her pregnancy last season.

  • According to the above issue of EW, The Storm, starring Luke Perry (Dylan, Beverly Hills 90210) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek) “stirred up a paltry 4.9 million viewers.”
  • Ali Larter (Kristy, Dawson’s Creek) got married over the weekend and Joshua Jackson (Pacey, Dawson’s Creek) was reportedly in attendance.

  • A very Happy Birthday to Lisa Goldstein (Millicent, One Tree Hill).  She turned 28 today.
  • An article on filming in North Carolina mentions both One Tree Hill and Dawson’s Creek.
  • Kevin Williamson, the creator of Dawson’s Creek, is on Twitter.
  • Greg Berlanti, one of Dawson’s Creek’s writer-producers, recalled in an interview the difficulty in scripting Jack’s (Kerr Smith) first kiss with a guy–which also happened to be the first for network primetime TV.
  • Zap2it says reports of “suicidal actions” by Mischa Barton (Marissa, The O.C.) are false.
  • Olivia Wilde (Alex, The O.C.) is included in a TVGuide.com photo gallery called “TV Stars Go to the Movies.”

  • I find it pretty disgusting that Perez Hilton is selling Team Tori and Team Candy tee shirts.  Guess it’s also disgusting that I’m giving it attention.
  • Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl) is on the cover of Teen Vogue.  They posted an interview excerpt online and PEOPLE.com also has a story on it.
  • The next part of the Gossip Girl bracket is available.
  • Gossip Girl’s Valley Girls (the 80s episode) and One Tree Hill’s We Three – My Echo, My Shadow and Me (the 1940s episode) are nominated for Best Special Episode in the Sourcies.
  • According to the above link, Victoria (Daphne Zuniga) won in the Hooray! The Bitch is Back category.
  • There’s a commercial for the One Tree Hill Season 6 DVD.
  • India de Beaufort has joined the cast of One Tree Hill as Miranda, who comes to down to take over Peyton’s record company for her.  Not happy about this!
  • Hilarie Burton (Peyton, One Tree Hill) posted another vlog on the SoGoPro site.
  • According to MTV News, Mischa Barton (Marissa, The O.C.) has been out of the hospital since “early last week.”
  • According to E!Online, Barton won’t be at the Television Critics Association panel for The Beautiful Life.  The other show mentioned in the article, Life Unexpected, stars Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek).
  • Examiner.com has an interview with a director who was inspired by the Marissa-Alex (Olivia Wilde) relationship on The O.C.
  • Peter Gallagher (Sandy, The O.C.) stars in Adam, which will be released in theaters this weekend.
  • The Guardian says The Vampire Diaries, which stars Paul Wesley (Donnie, The O.C.) is “a Frankenstein’s monster of teenage programming, featuring the hot teens of Beverley Hills 90210, the arched eyebrows of Gossip Girl, the soft heart of Dawson’s Creek, and some fangs.” I  thought that was cute.
  • An article on Jeff Wachtel, the head of programming for the USA Network, recounts his involvement with the origins of Dawson’s Creek.

Olivia in Cape Coral, Fla.: Is Mischa Barton going to be on The Beautiful Life or what?
 Sources close to The Beautiful Life remain hopeful that Mischa’s health will hold up enough for her to be on the series, but no one knows for sure yet. Her character, imperious supermodel Sonja, has already been written in to the first several episodes of the season, so if Mischa can’t make it, things will get messy fast.

Kiera in San Diego: Got any new scoop on Gossip Girl?
We sure do. Thanks to Gossip Girl show runner Josh Schwartz, who tells us: “Well, you know Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) is coming back even though she is at Mercy. She is going to have a very unexpected roommate and a very unexpected love interest.” Start hitting the comments with your ideas for that unexpected love interest. And hey, if you were wondering if it’s hard for Josh to juggle both G.G. and Chuck, wonder no more: “I’m really lucky that both shows have great staffs, crews, writers and producers, so I just go where I’m needed.” There you have it.
