90210 Season One DVD Available Today!

The first season of 90210 is available on DVD today.

You can purchase it on Amazon or at a variety of retail stores.

Among the extras: cast commentaries, behind-the-scenes and making-of-the-show features, shorts on the show’s music and fashion and a day in the life of Ryan Eggold (Ryan).

I won’t be getting it (I don’t want to feed the beast any more than I already do), but I have to say, the cover image is very disappointing.  It’s the same promo campaign that was used to launch the show last September, which means it doesn’t feature Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna), who was not only bumped up to regular status during the season, but was easily its break-out star.

  • At the TCA Press Tour, CW exec Dawn Ostroff said the Gossip Girl spin-off is “unlikely” and a 90210-Melrose Place cross-over is possible.  There *could* be a different GG spin-off though.

  • E!Online posted a Gossip Girl Fashion Gallery.
  • SoapNet has a “Where Are They Now?” photo gallery of the Beverly Hills 90210 cast.
  • While co-hosting the Today Show this morning, Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) said guys would use the show’s title as a pick-up line-a la, can I get into your zip code?  She’ll be on again tomorrow.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

If you have any idea what happens on “90210,” please report it on your fabulous blog asap. I’m dying here without scoop on crazy Annie & co. -Lee Oh, crazy Annie is in for a tough time. Dark days are on their way for Miss Wilson… which I’m assuming is a turn the writers decided to take in response to everyone’s annoyance over her bubbly enthusiasm last season. Anyhoo, not only does the entire school think Annie sucks, but her own brother will be avoiding her come fall. And just when you think things can’t get any worse for the chick, Naomi will unleash the scandal of the season on her. Let’s just say Silver and Dixon’s sex video will be old news in no time.

“90210” spoilers! Now! Are Dixon and Silver done or what? -Caroline Done and done. I mean, I think they might still be together when the season first starts, but it won’t last long. Dixon’s going to start dating an older woman, a D.J. in her 20s who’s obsessed with sports. Oh, and p.s., Dixon is going to give surfing the old Brandon Walsh college try… except D will take to it quite naturally.

I have to know what’s up with Naomi and Liam next season. Does she know that Jen is the one who seduced him? -D She knows nothing of the sort. Not yet, anyway. Jen will continue to manipulate the situation, even paying Liam’s mom a visit, telling her that Liam caused Naomi undue stress and that she’d prefer that he keeps his distance.

Is Ryan Matthews staying on “90210” or is he joining the new “Melrose Place”? -Derrick Yeah, those “Melrose” rumors keep swirling, but as of now, he’s staying in BH and will continue to fall deeper in love with that Devil-woman, Jen. You’d think a guy like Ryan would be able to see past her b.s., but I guess not.

Hey Korbi, Can you tell me if Adrianna and Navid will stay together even though they’re not getting married anymore? -Mandy
Yep. They’re still together. For the forseeable future, anyway. Seems Navid’s super jealous of the new, tennis prodigy guy, Teddy…

Amy in Pittsburgh: So excited Gossip Girl is back in production! What can you tell us?!
Sorry, Hilary Duff haters, but Duff joins the Gossip Girl cast as movie star Olivia, and she’ll be getting her movie-star cooties on the entire cast, not just Vanessa and Dan. Also on Gossip Girl this season, Chuck and Blair are totally getting married and having a million babies. (OK, not that, but they are staying tight. Yay!) And believe it or not, the show really is trending away from “Dan and Serena are the one true pairing of Gossip Girl.” Certainly, that arc might turn back sometime in the future, but for now the show is trying to establish their separate identities, apart from their on-again, off-again shenanigans. Is that great news or the worst thing you’ve ever heard? Post in the comments!

Michael Steger tells us, “They’re talking about renovating the Blaze newsroom, so it’s going to be where everything happens and everybody meets up. They’re going to make it very loungey, very comfortable.” (The Blaze newsroom is where we’ll meet Rumer Willis‘ character when she guests in a season-two episode.)

  • Episodes of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood will include footage of Tori (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) filming her appearances on 90210 earlier this year.
  • Serena (Blake Lively, Gossip Girl) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are up for Best Best Friends in the Tater Top Awards.
  • Ed Westwick (Chuck, Gossip Girl) has a photo spread in the new issue of GQ.
  • You can vote in a PEOPLE.com poll on who you would rather date–Westwick or Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl).

MICKEY: Hope springs eternal, Megan! I will downgrade my previous sarcastic remark to say that the possibility of Serenate is alive and well through the end of the season. But Serena’s season-finale suitor is someone entirely different — and surprising. If it’s a happy ending you’re looking for, forget it. Though Blair hears some magic words, her fall is looking increasingly shrouded in dread. Welcome to NYU, B.!

Will One Tree Hill‘s “Leyton” be back next season with mini Leyton? — Nicole
MATT: Alas, in the days since you sent in this question, the CW confirmed that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton will not be returning for Season 7. The silver lining is that the actors’ final outing is a solid one. TVGuide.com’s Robyn Ross, who screened the May 18 season finale, reports that the hour “wraps things up in a little bow with no shockers to leave us hanging. Old faces were back, and dreams were truly realized. Perhaps it could’ve served better as a series finale, because I’d love to think this is the way these stories would have ended.”

MICKEY: Before I tell you who dies, let me ask you this, Matty: Ever see the movie Carrie? Because it’s prom time at West Bev, and Annie is doing her best Sissy Spacek impression for us. It’s harrowing; you might even say she is driven to do some very uncharacteristic things, like maybe even kill someone! Who? It’s hard to say exactly, but in the same episode, Adrianna makes a choice, Ethan makes a declaration, and Liam makes a mistake — all three of which are life-changing.
