- There are also spoilish pictures floating around.
- TVGuideMagazine.com is saying Ryan Eggold (Ryan, 90210) won’t be crossing over to Melrose Place but I’m still confused. Instead, apparently, Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly Hills 90210) and Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210)–who both appeared on the original Melrose–are on their wishlist.
- Garth apparently deleted her Twitter account.

- One of the members of Cobra Starship admitted he didn’t know who Leighton Meester (Blair, Gossip Girl) was before they collaborated on Good Girls Go Bad.
- E!Online has an article on The Beautiful Life that says storylines for Mischa Barton (Marissa, The O.C.) won’t be altered due to her recent personal issues. The story also says a crossover with Gossip Girl is possible.
- E!Online also has an interview with Peter Gallagher (Sandy, The O.C.) on his Californication role.

Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Valerie, Beverly Hills 90210) is best-known for playing Kelly on Saved by the Bell.
But in the world of 90210, Thiessen’s character is best-known for feuding with a Kelly–this one played by Jennie Garth.
In real life during the 90210 years, Thiessen and Garth were actually best friends.
And, to go in a different direction: Valerie’s frenemy is Tori Spelling’s Donna.
Spelling appeared alongside Thiessen on Saved by the Bell, as the nerdy outsider Victoria Bickerstaff.
Oh, what a tangled web they weave!

Random Thought
10 08 2009I don’t recall what made me start thinking about this but One Tree Hill’s Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) has had the fewest relationships of any long-time teen drama character.
She has only had sex with one guy, Nathan (James Lafferty)–but to be fair, Donna (Tori Spelling, Beverly Hills 90210) and Joey (Katie Holmes, Dawson’s Creek) are close behind with just 3 sexual partners.
Donna and Joey, however, also had several relationships. Haley had just one with Nathan and, as far as we know, kissed a bit with Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton).
Other than that, she hasn’t been romantically or sexually linked to anyone else. Nathan, by contrast, can be linked to–whether he likes it or not– Peyton, Taylor, Brooke and Nanny Carrie. The other long-time characters in Tree Hill and on the other shows have had several relationships as well.
Haley is pretty unique, no? Then again, she did get married and have a baby by the time she graduated high school…

Teen Drama Casts Then and Now
3 08 2009I was recently talking to xoJessxMarieox about how different Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti, One Tree Hill) looks now compared to in the first season.
The conversation got me thinking: whether the actors are 17 (like James Lafferty–Nathan–was when One Tree Hill started) or 30 (like Gabrielle Carteris–Andrea–in the first season of Beverly Hills 90210), we’ve witnessed them grow and physically mature over the course of their show.
I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the teen drama stars, then and now. Gossip Girl and 90210 will be excluded since they’re just getting started. I decided to do it all through YouTube–the first time I’m making my own videos!
