EPISODE 7.13: Weeks Go By Like Days

• Previously On: Millie does coke, she apologizes to Brooke, Brooke fires her, Clay will fall in love with Quinn, Haley is going on tour, Brooke tells Julian she needs time, Alex tries to commit suicide and Julian rescues her, they will make a movie, Alexander is Brooke’s new designer
• Haley and co are doing a pre-concert chant. Nathan and Jamie are with her. It’s cute. Wish I had Jamie and Nathan’s quotes.
• She’s performing in Cleveland
• She is performing Flying Machine, which was released on YouTube during the hiatus.
• I didn’t/don’t like this performance because it doesn’t seem like Haley to me.
• Montage of Haley’s tour: all the venues, the fans, Jamie with her, signing autographs, etc.
• Brooke presents Clothes For Bros, her new mens line.
• She introduces Alexander as her new consultant and co-designer.
• Julian is looking at storyboards as well as a picture of him and Julian.
• Alex is with a therapist, looking at the scar on her wrist.
• She says she’s feeling better than yesterday and the therapist says that’s all she can ask for.
• Millie is watching ballet.
• Quinn sees people kissing on the beach. She’s photographs it and says it to Clay.
• Clay is watching guys play basketball. He gives one of them his card.
• More Haley tour footage.
• Jamie looks like he’s having fun.
• Haley is going through “six weeks of mail” at home.
• Jamie is showing Quinn pictures from the tour.
• Q1: One night they made me an honorary roadie.–Jamie
• All the Jamie quotes were great. Sorry I missed them.
• The last show is tonight, in Tree Hill.
• Haley gives Quinn an envelope.
• It’s Quinn’s divorce papers and they say “divorce final.”
• There’s a new “Millie” at CoB. Calliope or something like that.
• Victoria gives her grief–kind of justifiably. She’s not good.
• Someone calls for Millie and Calliope says Millie doesn’t work there anymore. Victoria looks contemplative.
• Millie is in court and the judge points out she doesn’t have a job. Victoria interrupts and says she does.
• Brooke and Alexander are in the airport. She runs into Julian.
• Brooke thinks Julian is there for her…but he’s really there to get Alex.
• Second time that happened with Brooke. In season 3, Brooke thought Lucas was there for her but he was there for his mom!
• Life Unexpected promo. It airs at 9pm–watch it!
• Haley and Quinn are in Haley’s room.
• Haley asks about the divorced papers.
• Quinn says that it’s official now but it’s felt that way for a while.
• Quinn hasn’t seen Clay in a few weeks because he’s away scouting.
• Q2: You’re doing the I Like A  Boy face twitch.–Haley
• Millie asks Victoria why she’s doing this.
• Victoria says she knows about the cocaine and stealing Brooke’s dress.
• Millie says she’s not doing drugs…today.
• Victoria says she can return to CoB as her assistant.
• Q3: “Why would you help me?” “Because you need it. It’s a second chance and they don’t come around that often.”–Millie and Victoria
• Nathan wants to play basketball but Jamie is still all tour-ified.
• I really can’t believe how old he’s starting to look.
• Clay is back. He comes over to give Nathan some papers.
• Jamie is happy to see him.
• UNCLE CLAY?! Are you effing kidding me? I’m going to barf.
• Quinn and Clay awkwardly embrace in front of Nate.
• Alexander wants Brooke to have some champagne because their presentation went so well.
• Q4: I’m more of a vodka girl.–Brooke
• Apparently Brooke and Alexander have been working together for 6 weeks. Makes sense. The hiatus was for six weeks.
• Alexander asks what the deal is with Julian and the “hot girl.”
• Q5: Do you like your job? Then don’t call skanky girl ‘hot girl.’–Brooke
• Apparently Alexander has a lot of one-night-stands.
• Brooke likes to work when she’s pissed off and Alexander says that explains the name of the company.
• Q6: My sucky love life has made me a very rich girl.–Brooke
• Q7: I like it when you call me boss.–Brooke
• Q8: What kind of idiot treats Brooke Davis wrong?–Alexander
• He’s kind of charming. I’m taking him to much faster than I ever thought I would.
• Julian brings Alex to her hotel. She’s thanks him for his support.
• She flashes back to Millie calling her a washed-up actress.
• Alex covers up her scars when she sees Julian staring at them. He apologizes.
• That’s going to a big continuity thing for them to keep up. She’s supposed to be scarred for life. If the show gets an 8th season, I bet they’ll slip up a few times and, whattyaknow, there won’t be any scars. Prison Break had a similar issue with a tattoo so they eventually came up with a storyline to have the tattoo removed.
• She says she’s not the self-centered person she was. She swears she’s okay so he leaves.
• She calls McKenna, asking where the party is.
• Life Unexpected promo. 40 minutes til it premieres. Watch It!
• Jamie is telling his friends about “life on the road” and “chillin with my road dogs.”
• Chuck and Andre and co. are all bored. They’re tired of hearing the story.
• They’re going to karate practice.
• Madison says she’s glad he’s back. Then they all run off.
• Julian shows up at CoB. He’s upset that Brooke didn’t say she was coming back.
• She says she needed time.
• And he says he gave her six weeks and now they have to talk.
• Brooke says they need to talk about Alex. He wanted to save her–doesn’t that impact her, too?
• Julian says Brooke just went out and got her own guy.
• Brooke says Victoria hired Alexander. He’s a consultant.
• Julian says he believes her–indicating that she never believes him.
• Brooke says she can’t do this. She has to work.
• Q9: That’s right. Clothes over bros.–Julian
• Ouch.
• Jamie admits to Nathan that he was bragging about his summer.
• Nathan admits Jamie gets to do a lot of cool things–but it doesn’t matter more than friends.
• Nate points out he still has the same friends.
• Q10: Was Skills always bald?–Jamie
• Love it! LOL
• Haley comes to CoB to give Brooke tickets.
• Finally another Baley scene! They are so few and far between.
• Brooke says she feels stuck with the Julian situation.
• Q10: You love Julian and he loves you. It’s a good place to be stuck.–Haley
• Brooke asks Haley if she ever doubt Nathan during the Renee situation. She says she did but she’s not proud of it–and it turned out to be nothing.
• Brooke points out that she and Julian aren’t Naley.
• Q11: I know trust has always been hard for you but Alex isn’t Peyton and Julian is not Lucas.–Haley
• Wow! Leyton mention, too! What did we do to deserve such gifts?
• Q12: You give me butterflies.–Quinn
• Quinn and Clay are talking about Clay’s declaration of his plan to fall in love with her.
• Clay suggests they should take things slow…with a date.
• Q13: “Then after the date we can fall insanely in love.” “I could do that, too. What are you doing for lunch?”–Clay and Quinn
• Clay is cute. I wish I liked Quinn more. Maybe in time. I mean, more time. Sigh.
• Julian finds Victoria at a bar and accuses her of pushing a new guy on Brooke.
• Victoria says Brooke deserves better than someone so preoccupied with another girl.
• Q14: You may not be interested her in but you like that she’s interested in you. Don’t let your ego break my daughter’s heart.–Victoria
• Q15: Brooke’s heart was already broken when I got here.–Julian
• Wow. That whole exchange was good. I missed a lot of it. Argh. They talk too fast.
• Alex shows up at McKenna’s party. She’s actually looking for Millie.
• And she’s there!
• Q16: “What are you doing?” “Taking you home.” “Why?” “Because nobody did it for me.”
• They go to Mouth/Skills’ apartment and it’s a MESS.
• Alex vocalizes her shock and Millie says “screw you.”
• Life Unexpected promo. Airs in 30 minutes. WATCH IT!
• Clay and Quinn are having lunch with olives and Brownie Bites and root beer.
• Quinn jokes he won’t be getting a kiss and Clay calls her a tease. The banter is kind of cute.
• Clay asks Quinn for her best first date story. She’s supposed to say “this” but instead she talks about Bobby Hobbs.
• She says she was tomboy then and she beat him in basketball and he cried. Clay jokes he shouldn’t play with her then.
• Quinn says Clay was awkward in front of Nathan.
• He says they need to keep it low-key in front of him.
• Quinn points out that he already told him he was going to fall in love with him.
• Clay says yes, but they shouldn’t flaunt it. True that.
• Quinn also says they need to out into the real world. True that, too.
• Alexander suggests grabbing dinner with Brooke but she says she has plans.
• Before he leaves, he says he’s a good listener. Victoria overhears.
• Brooke tells Victoria not to push Alexander on her.
• Victoria says she’s not. Julian came to see her and she knows he’s been fighting for her for a while.
• Q17: “Bitchtoria is getting soft.” “I know. It’s a tragedy.”–Brooke and Victoria
• “Speaking of tragedies,” Victoria explains that she hired Millicent because she feel responsible: she called the cops on Millie.
• Brooke says it was Millie’s fault for driving drunk and if Victoria didn’t call her, she might’ve killed someone.
• I wasn’t expecting that response from Brooke. Brooke of season 5/6 would’ve been mad at her mom.
• Millie is trying to get Alex to leave the apartment. She says Mouth gave her a thousand chances and she ran out of him so he moved.
• Q18: You never run out of chances unless you don’t give yourself one.–Alex
• Q19: Be mean. Be as nasty as you want. I’m staying because I care. Because I love you.–Alex
• Millicent starts to cry. She was so mean to Alex and then Alex tried to kill herself.
• Alex says she was giving up because she thought it was easier and Millie shouldn’t give up either.
• Millie says she’s not as strong as she is and Alex says she’s isn’t either.
• Millie says she’s can’t get back to where she was.
• Q20: You just pick a place and you start.–Alex
• It was a very moving scene. I think Lisa Goldstein is doing a fabulous job with this storyline. I know a lot of people don’t like the storyline but just separate it from the acting. Awesome acting, no?

• Jamie is onstate introducing Haley.
• Q21: So you know her as Haley James Scott, but to me she’s the coolest mom ever. Please welcome my mom.–Jamie
• This song is Girl In the Moon. This performance was also released on YouTube. I like it soooooo much more.
• Alex is at the concert. Julian is surprised to see her.
• Alex mentions Millie.
• Q22: Ever feel like you just want to save somebody?–Alex
• She explains you can’t save people and she can “Dr. Phil myself til I’m blue in the butt” but she has to “get back out there” herself.
• She and Julian share a “moment.”
• Where is Brooke? ‘Cause it looks like they’re in the backstage tent, ala what we saw in the USO show last season.
• Millie is at CoB and asks Victoria if the job is still open.
• Victoria says she doesn’t want to be made a fool of. Millie says she knows.
• Q23: “Calliope is amazing.” “She’s no Millie.”–Millie and Victoria
• That was nice.
• Quinn tells Clay she never tires of seeing Haley perform.
• There’s a Taylor reference but I missed it.
• Nate walks over and Clay drops Quinn’s hand. Nate notices and asks to talk to him alone.
• Q24: I’ve got the agent but I miss my friend.–Nathan
• Aw. Nathan tells him to stop being awkward with Quinn. It’s okay.
• Quinn has too much makeup on. Or maybe it’s just the lipstick contrast to the rest of her face.
• She and Jamie share some bonding. I’m not a fan of it. I miss the Jamie-Brooke bonding.
• Haley is performing another song now. I think this is the Pat Benetar cover.
• Yes, it is. “We Belong” the song is called.
• Brooke goes over to Julian and then Alex walks right up. More coincidence than on purpose.
• Alex says they should talk and leaves.
• Brooke says she’s been trying to figure out how to get past the Alex thing but they’re always together.
• Julian says he bumped into her. He throws his drink and says it’s always about Alex.
• Brooke says it’s not in her head. She says how she saw them int he hospital.
• Julian says Alex tried to kill herself and he’s being a friend.
• Brooke says it was more than that.
• Q25: How dare you? I’m in Tree Hill for you.–Julian
• Q26: I’m the guy who loves you.–Julian
• There was more but I missed it.
• Julian says he can’t make her issues stop.
• Brooke asks what he’s saying and he says she has her line, he has his movie–with Alex. They should each concentrate on that.
• Q27: Goodbye, Brooke.–Julian
• Clay comes up and kisses Quinn from behind.
• Clay says he promised Nate he’ll treat her well and Quinn jokes that she can be a “handful.”
• She says she’s wrong about kissing on the first date.
• Cue kiss and pyrotechnics. It’s a little much but I’m sure Clinn (??) fans loved it. Happy for them.
• Life Unexpected promo. It starts in 8 minutes. WATCH IT!!
• Just showed BJG’s partner in Everly, along with BJG’s husband and brother-in-law. The guys are in Enation, which is BJG’s/Everly’s backing bad a lot.
• Chuck and Andrea and Madison are backstage and now think the whole thing is cool.
• Q28: Sweet hot chicks!–Chuck
• Naley share a moment and then she’s called on stage of an encore.
• McKenna texts Millie about a party. Victoria asks if she’ll be back tomorrow and Millie says yes.
• Haley is performing again but I don’t know what song this.
• And here’s Taylor!
• Nathan is surprised but hugs her anyway.
• Taylor says Haley doesn’t know she’s here.
• Q29: “No, because she definitely would’ve warned me about you.” “Why, still dreaming about me Nate? They say you never forget you first.”–Nathan and Taylor
• Nathan gives her a look that says “your games are OLD and not welcome here.”
• Taylor asks if there’s room in their big house for them. She makes another joke about them and says she’ll see him at the house.
• Clay and Quinn share another moment. Sorry but this is overkill. You can’t force them down our throats. That’s not how you fall in love with a couple.
• Julian walks Alex to her room but says he’s staying down the hall until he gets his own place. (He used to live with Brooke, remember?)
• Alex looks at her scar and calls after him, asking where the money for the film is coming from.
• Julian admits it’s from  him and his dad–because he “believes” in her.
• Jamie is on stage with Haley. He’s kind of singing with her. It’s pretty cute.
• The song ends and she picks him up, swining her around.
• Quinn opens the door at home and there’s David.
• Haley is behind Quinn. They are all shocked.
• Taylor walks in and Haley reminds Taylor that David is Quinn’s ex.
• Q30: Ex-husband is so yesterday. I prefer to call him my new boyfriend.–Taylor
• And they hardcore kiss! Woah!
• We knew from spoilers Taylor brought David back with her but I didn’t think it would because they were together!
• Millie goes home and Mouth is there!
• Julian is looking at a picture of Brooke.
• Brooke knocks on a hotel door–but it’s Alexander’s. She has tears in her eyes but asks if he still wants to have dinner.
• Fade to black.
• Should’ve ended on the Taylor-David kiss, I think.
• Preview: Brooke says Julian breaks up with him. Taylor and David are making dinner for everyone. Quinn is bothered but more bothered by the girl in Clay’s pool. Julian punches someone. Haley calls Taylor a slut and tells her to leave. Quinn, Haley and Taylor are fighting and fall into the pool.
