  • The Chicago Tribune has an interview with Eric Daman (costume designer, Gossip Girl).
  • High Society, The CW’s new reality show focused on Tinsley Mortimer who cameo-ed on Gossip Girl last season, will debut on March 10.
  • Butchered, which features Cari Moskow (Patty, One  Tree Hill), will be available on DVD tomorrow.
  • In many foreign countries, when writing the date, they put the day before the month. That makes tomorrow 9/02/10 for them. Hee hee.
  • E! Online has a brief interview (no pun intended) with Kellan Lutz (George, 90210) about his Calvin Klein underwear campaign.
  • Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly Hills 90210) was on The Wendy Williams Show. Inside TV has a great clip of her discussing her first 90210 kiss, which, as we know, was with Ian Ziering (Steve, Beverly Hills 90210). The show’s official site has some more info on her appearance.
  • Also, check out these clips for more on Garth’s current campaign for heart disease awareness.
  • Daniel Cosgrove (Matt, Beverly Hills 90210) will appear on Brothers & Sisters, which is executive produced by Greg Berlanti (writer-producer, Dawson’s Creek).
  • The Boston Herald has an interview with Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek).
  • MTV has an article on James Van Der Beek (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek) and his film Formosa Betrayed.
  • Van Der Beek will be on Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night.
  • MTV also has a great article on Dawson’s Creek and what made it so good.
  • The Wendy Williams Show also a first kiss bit with Tate Donovan (Jimmy, The O.C.) from last week.
  • Dawson’s Creek and The O.C. are included in an article on shows that had strong ratings and critical acclaim at first but then lost them over time.
  • Fascinated by this article about a study on birth control education, where college students were shown an episode of The O.C. (circa Theresa’s pregnancy in season 1) or a news program on teen pregnancy and the reactions were compared. They found that “a fictional television drama may be more effective in persuading young women to use birth control.”
  • The Boston Herald also has an interview with Donovan.
  • Though it was interesting that Henri Lubatti (Henri-Michel, The O.C.) guest-starred on Chuck tonight, since both shows were/are executive produced by Josh Schwartz.
  • McG (executive producer, The O.C.) is working on the Charlie’s Angels remake. Aaron Spelling (executive producer, Beverly Hills 90210) was responsible for the original show.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!
Question: Could you give us more details about Blair and Chuck’s break-up on Gossip Girl? —Larissa
Ausiello:
Blame Jack Bass. It’s all his fault.

Question: Anything on Leverage? —Bill
Ausiello:
Luke Perry changes zip codes in the Feb. 3 episode to play a smarmy psychic who is more swindler than soothsayer. The team must pit con-job against con-job to expose him, especially after a cold reading leaves Parker in tears. And in the Feb. 17 season finale, Hutton and Co. try to take down a dangerous weapons dealer, all while the FBI inches closer and closer to catching them. Some unexpected friends (and enemies) will return, and others will make their exit.

Note: Perry played Dylan on Beverly Hills 90210. Leverage also stars Jeri Ryan (Charlotte, The O.C.) and Christian Kane (Nick, Dawson’s Creek).

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

As you probably know by now, Gossip Girl‘s Chuck and Blair are going to be going through a rough patch caused by Chuck.

So what does Chuck do to Blair that leads to the crisis? Is it true that a fling with Jenny Humphrey is involved? Get the exclusive scoop on that.

Patricia in Boston: At first I was just sad about the Chuck-Blair breakup news, but now I am freaking the hell out. Is it true that the horrible thing Chuck does is sleep with Jenny Humphrey? I’ll never watch Gossip Girl again if that’s what happens!
Well, don’t delete that Gossip Girl season pass from your TiVo just yet, because sources assure us that this particular rumor is totally false. So, while we can’t tell you yet what bad thing Chuck does do, we can assure that you, no, Chuck does not sleep with Jenny. Whew.

Lauren in New York City: I’m so sad about Chuck and Blair breaking up on Gossip Girl! Anything new on that?
Ed Westwick
himself says of Gossip Girl‘s upcoming storylines, “It all gets set on its side. Everything goes upside down. Things are going to get even more dramatic than they always are.” And Gossip boss Josh Schwartz tweeted, “Trust. #ChuckandBlair.” Believe the man. Josh is the one who made Chuck and Blair so awesome in the first place, and he wouldn’t be breaking them up unless it was part of a greater plan, right?

Chloe in Grand Island, Neb.: I approve of the casting of Billy Baldwin (although John Slattery would have been ideal) as Serena’s dad on Gossip Girl, but I now have to know before I get too excited. Is Daddy van der Woodsen completely evil, or does he have any redeeming qualities?
We’re told we’ll see that William van der Woodsen does want to get back into Serena and Eric’s life on Gossip Girl. That doesn’t mean he’s a pure good guy—his motives for seeing them could be totally dark side—but at least he’s no longer totally dissing his own children.

Hope in Worcester, Mass.: Please give me some One Tree Hill scoop!
We see Sarah, Clay’s (Robert Buckley) dead wife again—but she won’t be Sarah. (Dun dun dunnnnn…)

Phil in Nevada: What’s happening when Melrose Place returns?
Colin Egglesfield
and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz only have one episode left, then Nick Zano joins the cast to stir things up. At the GBK Golden Globes gift lounge, Michael Rady told us he’s looking forward to the newbie. “We’re pals, and then…” he teased about Jonah and Nick’s character before stopping himself. “I don’t want to get in trouble, but the murder mystery is out, and that gets filled in with original Melrose, L.A. fun.” That said, insiders tell me that unlike 90210, which is trending toward the new kids, Melrose will be splitting its attention between the youngsters and the old guard likes of Amanda, Michael Mancini and dead Sydney.

We already know Amanda Schull (Sara) will be back.

Laura Leighton (Sophie, Beverly Hills 90210) plays Sydney on Melrose Place.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Have any One Tree Hill scoop? —Khaela
Ausiello:
Even though I’ve never been an OTH fan, I have to admit the Feb. 1 episode sounds pretty cool. Titled “Don’t You Forget About Me,” it’s an homage to the late John Hughes, complete with an ’80s-theme dance, reenactments of scenes from his classic movies and a performance by Cheap Trick.

Question: Is it true that Hayley’s mom is returning on One Tree Hill? —Margaret
Ausiello:
Yes, Bess Armstrong is reprising her role for a handful of episodes, all of them fairly sad.

Question: My friend Lisa smells like a goat; you can imagine what a social outcast she is. It would make her day — and who knows maybe she’ll take a shower — if you give us some information on the Chuck and Blair break-up on Gossip Girl. Please? She really smells! —Alianna
Ausiello:
You’re a good friend, Alianna. Lisa’s lucky to have you in her life. I mean that. Please tell her that the rumors are true: Chuck and Blair will hit a significant (and potentially irreparable) rough patch at the end of the season.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Question: Earlier this week, Josh Schwartz answered some Gossip Girl questions on Twitter, and he said that Chuck and Blair would get a lot of sexy time, but that maybe they would go too far. Could you please be more clear and maybe tell us what he means with going too far? –Fernanda
Ausiello:
I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that Josh Schwartz is using his Twitter account as a spoiler dispenser. That’s just what I need, more competition. But enough about me and my insecurities. Here’s what I was able to get out of Schwartz: “After conferring with Stephanie Savage about what to say without saying too much, I’d add that Chuck and Blair have always played games to keep their romance exciting. But sometimes those games go too far and have a cost.”

Question: Any Gossip Girl scoop about Jenny? —Angelica
Ausiello:
Mr. Spoiler himself, Josh Schwartz (maybe I should start referring to him as my frenemy?), also recently tweeted that an upcoming GG episode was titled “The 16 Year Old Virgin.” There’s your Jenny spoiler.

RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!

Attention Upper East Siders: Hide your men and your liquor, because Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) herself tells us that she’s coming back to Gossip Girl—this season—and just scandalous as evah!

Michelle breaks the news in the video down below, and even gives us a hint as to what sort of meddling she’ll be doing this time. (Could it involve Chuck Bass’ father?! Oh, how that girl teases. Love.)

Frances: Anything on Chuck Bass’ mother on Gossip Girl? Please!
Well, Michelle teases that her return to Gossip Girl may have something to do with Chuck’s upcoming family drama in the video below, but I’m pretty certain she’s kidding. See for yourself in the video, including her pitch to have a Dawn Summers-Dawson Leery romance on Mercy with James Van Der Beek. Um, yes please.

Chris: Is there any hope for Dan and Serena on Gossip Girl? Any at all?
When asked about hope for Dan and Serena on Gossip Girl, my source tells me “not at the moment.” But I suppose then you’re rooting for Jenny to steal Nate away?

Jamie in Austin, Texas: You’ve been holding out on the Leverage scoop, lady!
Let go of all of your doubts about Jeri Ryan stepping in as Leverage‘s designated grifter babe while Gina Bellman is on maternity leave. Jeri’s non-nonsense character Tara doesn’t really understand Nathan’s (Timothy Hutton) free-wheeling way of doing business, but she’s willing to learn and they turn out to be a great professional pairing. Leverage returns for a winter mini-season beginning this Wednesday at 10 p.m.

I’ve already posted about Van Der Beek’s role on Mercy. Dawn Summers was Trachtenberg’s role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Jeri Ryan played Charlotte on The O.C. You can read more about her role on Leverage here.
