- TVByTheNumbers.com is speculating which CW shows will be renewed next year. Stay tuned for my own take in a few days.
- Bethany Joy Galeotti (Haley, One Tree Hill) confirmed that she is now on Facebook.
- Elisabeth Harnois (Shelley, One Tree Hill) is one of the stars of Miami Medical, a new show starting in April on CBS.
- AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi, 90210) is starring in the film Gun, alongside 50 Cent.
- Beverly Hills 90210 is mentioned in this article on The Simpsons celebrating their 450th episode.
- Found this article about the Beverly Hills school district to be quite interesting, since on the show, Andrea had to keep it a secret that she wasn’t a BH resident.
- Southland, starring Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan, The O.C.) and Michael Cudlitz (Tony, Beverly Hills 90210) has its TNT premiere Tuesday night.
- Both Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek) and DC get cute mentions in this article on Life Unexpected.
- James Van Der Beek (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek) will be on at least eight episodes of Mercy beginning January 27, which also stars Michelle Trachtenberg (Georgina, Gossip Girl).

Exclusive: Get Reacquainted With One Tree Hill’s Lindsey McKeon
10 01 2010Well, One Tree Hill fans, we’re in the home stretch! The show comes back from hiatus one week from tomorrow. As the promo for 7.13 shows, we’ll be seeing a familiar face: Taylor James, sister to Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten).
Taylor, played by Lindsey McKeon, was introduced in season 2 (Episode 2.11, The Heart Brings You Back), when she returns to Tree Hill after getting kicked out of college. Her homecoming turns sour when Nathan (James Lafferty) recalls that Taylor was the first girl he ever slept with, complicating his relationship with Haley. After causing a bit more damage, Taylor leaves town (Episode 2.13, The Hero Dies In This One)–but Nathan meets up with her later in the season (Episode 2.18, The Lonesome Road). Viewers actually had a chance to vote in a poll on whether the two characters would sleep together. Fans voted against it and we haven’t seen Taylor since…until now.
It seemed only natural, then, to seek out McKeon for an update on both her whereabouts and Taylor’s. Here’s hoping this wets your appetite just enough to get through the next eight days:
TeenDramaWhore: Do you remember what first attracted you to the role of Taylor?
Lindsey McKeon: The fact that she is “free spirited,” says and does things that I or most people wouldn’t do and that she shakes things up a bit! To me, it’s great to play a character that “allows me to act out of character.” That’s what’s so brilliant about this art!!
TDW: Fans have been hoping for Taylor’s return for years. How did this come about?
McKeon: Grace… You know, I’m not sure exactly, but I’m glad it did!
TDW: What can you tell us about your appearance? Will it be for more than one episode?
McKeon: Taylor returns for at least 3 episodes and does what she does best!!! 😉
TDW: What do you think Taylor’s been up to in the years that have passed? Is she still the James family’s wild child?
McKeon: I believe she’s traveled around and tried to “find herself” in many different places, which has given her an experiential yet sometimes painful life. And though home is where the heart is for her, I believe it’s one of the most difficult and challenging places for her to be.
TDW: Many fans are also familiar with you from your prior roles on Saved By The Bell: The New Class and Guiding Light. What are you most recognized for?
McKeon: It’s funny to me that all these years later I still get recognized from Saved By The Bell. I have no idea what I get recognized for the most, though I’ve heard ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ ‘One Tree Hill’ and ‘Saved By The Bell’ a bunch. But mostly I just get people telling me that I “look familiar” or “remind them of someone famous.”
TDW: What was your reaction when you found out Guiding Light was going off the air?
McKeon: It was something that had been buzzing around the set when I was still there [in 2004], so it wasn’t a big shock. For me mostly, I’m just interested to see what path everyone’s new lives will be taking!
TDW: What other projects are you working on now?
McKeon: There are a couple films that are in the works and a couple in the process of coming out! Repo and The Land That Time Forgot being two of them. You can always stay up to date by checking IMDB.com!!
TDW: What do you like to do in your spare time?
McKeon: I love to travel, yoga, meditation, workout, dance, see LOTS of movies and spend time with the ones who are closest to me.
TDW: Many celebrities have gotten Twitter accounts to interact with their fans. Have you thought of getting one? Do you have an official site I can direct people to?
McKeon: Sorry, I do not have a Twitter account and I no longer have an official website.
TDW: My research also led me to this MySpace account that claims to be you. Is it actually yours?
McKeon: No, I have never had a MySpace!
Come back next week for another exclusive interview!

Weekly Poll
6 01 2010In the last Weekly Poll, the majority of voters thought it was a happy medium for Haley to go on tour with Nathan and Jamie with her for part of the time. Many of you thought she deserved to go on tour regardless, while just two people said she should keep her family as the priority. Forty-seven percent said Blair and Chuck have had highs and lows this season but 31 percent say the luster is gone and 22 percent say their power is still just as strong. Only 3 votes separated the ays from the maybes on whether Kelly should be in more episodes. Just 10 percent, or 5 votes, were against it.

Weekly Poll
30 12 2009In the last Weekly Poll, the question with the closest results was whether Nathan should let Dan be in his life. Just 1 vote separated “I’m torn” from the “no” response, which made it 41 percent to 40. Important to note, though, that 18 of you, or 19 percent, do believe he should. Thirty percent also believe Jen should stay on 90210 but 52 percent have had enough. We had the largest numbers in the Gossip Girl poll, as warring Jenny and Serena fan threads sent their cohorts to vote. In the end, Jenny won with 70 percent and a whopping 179 votes to Serena’s 50 votes, which amounted to 20 percent. Also worth noting that there were votes for the other options: Blair and Vanessa each got 3 percent with 7 votes a piece and “none of the above” received had 4 percent with 11 votes.

Favorite Holiday Episodes, Pt. 4
24 12 2009MONDAY: Beverly Hills 90210
TUESDAY: Dawson’s Creek
WEDNESDAY: The O.C.
TODAY: One Tree Hill
1. Episode 4.10, Songs to Live and Die By
This episode is noteworthy for all kinds of reasons. First, among the many things OTH does well is flashbacks, flashforwards and alternate universes. Those episode are usually automatic wins in my book and this one is no exception. OTH also works off a crazy timeline that prevents holidays on our calendar from matching up with the Tree Hill calendar. Even this episode aired the first week in December, though it was clearly meant to be the only Christmas episode we’d likely ever get. Like The O.C.’s Chrismukk-huh?, we have a main character–Lucas–unconscious. And like Beverly Hill 90210’s It’s A Totally Happening Life, we have a spin on the classic Christmas movie It’s A Wonderful Life. The O.C.’s episode teased us with the return of Marissa while this show actually gives us Keith back, even if it’s just as a ghost and only for this episode. It tugs on heartstrings again and again, especially with Haley also unconscious, pays respect to the past, asks a powerful question (does it pay to be a good person?) and sets up a huge story arc for the rest of the season with Lucas trying to find out who really killed Keith. It’s one of my favorite episodes of the entire series.
Tomorrow we’ll finish with Gossip Girl and 90210.

22 12 2009RELEVANT QUESTIONS–DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW!!!
Candy in Hawaii: Will Jenny get her knight in shining Armani? I’ve waited so long for Nate and Jenny to happen! Please, please tell me they will be a couple. I want them as my Christmas present!
Here’s what I can tell you. According to my source: “Jenny definitely will try to steal Nate away” later this season, after Nate and Serena are more of a solidified couple. However, in what has been written so far, I’m told “Nate is resisting.” That said, it certainly seems as though Jenny has fully embraced the dark side of her Machiavellian ways (will she be worse than Blair ever was?) because according to my mole, the whole Nate stealing is “going to be pretty underhanded by Jenny. Serena won’t really suspect it for a bit.” So let me get this straight: Little J has screwed over her stepbrother/former BFF and now her stepsister too?! Talk about a character 180 from the first season! Do we have a new Big Bad on the Upper East Side? Are producers trying to make us not like her? Thoughts?
Marlene in Georgetown, Washington, D.C.: Some Gossip Girl news please! Anything big coming up? Deaths? Hookups? Marriages?
Dorota is getting married! Pretty sweet, no? And now that two people very close to Blair have gotten hitched lately (first mom, now Dorota), she has to be next right? OK, probably not. But a girl can dream.
Amanda in Miami: Anything on Jack Bass? Why is he back on Gossip Girl? Is he gonna mess up with Chuckles?
And how. From what I understand, Jack Bass will bring the news to Chuck that his mother is alive. But that may or may not be true. I personally hope it is and would love to meet the mother of Mother Chucker. You!? Who are we thinking could play her? Oooh, what if she turns out to be “The Man,” aka Lena Olin? Please, Santie [Josh] Schwartz, father of Chrismukkah! Make it happen.
Megan in Knoxville, Tenn.: I read somewhere, more then likely here, that when One Tree Hill starts back in January, Haley’s sister Taylor comes back and brings someone from past episodes with her. If this is true, any clues you can give as to who it is? Lucas? Peyton? Thanks!
Yep, that was here, and it is none of those characters but it is a boy. My source doesn’t want me to say who yet, but it’s someone’s ex, and it’s not a major character like Lucas or Peyton. I’ll reveal it when this muzzle comes off!
