EPISODE 2.12: Winter Wonderland

Previously on: Adrianna buys drugs from Jasper, Liam plans to destroy Jen, Liam does destroy Jen, Naomi finds out the truth, Ivy kisses Liam in front of Naomi, Annie hits someone, Teddy found the guy, Navid was pushed down the stairs by Jasper and he knows it
This is the last episode before the hiatus.
Everyone is watching a winter dance in the hallway, promoting the Winter Wonderland dance. Fake snow and all!
Q1: Winter Wonderland dance. I better dust off my princess crown.–Jasper
Annie says she used to love to go to dances but that feels like “a lifetime ago.”
Jasper says they can’t go since Harry will be there.
Annie says he’ll be away at a conference but it’s okay that he doesn’t want to go.
Naomi runs after Annie. She says she understands why Annie isn’t returning her calls and she apologizes to Annie for not believing her all these months.
Q2: Maybe it has to do with my own insecurities or what happened with Ethan.–Naomi
Q3: Hell. You put me through hell, Naomi!–Annie
She storms off.
Navid tells Teddy and Ivy he can’t go to the police about Jasper because no one will believe him. The only proof he has is combat boots, which plenty of people wear.
Instead, he wants to expose Jasper as a drug dealer.
The Blaze reporter helping him is Amber Wallace (Glenda, One Tree Hill). All these years later and she’s still in high school! LOL
Ivy snaps at one of the dancers.
Q4: Man, do you kick puppies and babies too?–Teddy
She says she won’t go to the dance and makes fun of it.
Silver is doing a 5K run for breast cancer research. She asks Teddy to donate money in support.
Silver is wearing a Warriors shirt, as part of the Warriors in Pink program.
Silver and Naomi are going to St. Bart’s on vacation but will stop by the dance.
Teddy asks Silver to go to the dance with her and Silver laughs, not taking him seriously. Ouch.
Ivy and Liam are chatting when he spots Naomi and says he needs to talk to her. Of course Ivy is less than thrilled.
Liam tells Naomi he just wants to make sure everything is okay.
Naomi said she wanted to thank him but now she’s more upset than ever. Why didn’t he tell her months ago?
Liam says she doesn’t understand and she admits she doesn’t and walks away.

Now they’re showing the Jessica Stroup (Silver) PSA for it.
Silver chases after Naomi into the bathroom.
Q5: When am I going to stop liking him?–Naomi
Silver tells her to tell him how she feels.
Naomi says she can’t because she doesn’t want to be with a person that lies and he’s with Ivy anyway.
Q6: Apparently he likes the smell of B.O.–Naomi
Q7: “How do I look?” “I’d ease up on the lip gloss.” “Oh, be quiet. I look fantastic.”–Naomi and Silver
They leave and Ivy comes out of the bathroom stall.
Teddy tells Liam to invite Ivy to the dance. Teddy admits he asked someone but…
Q8: “I got shot down.” “By who? Angelina Jolie?”–Teddy and Navid
He reveals that it was Silver and apologizes to Dixon for not checking with him first but Dixon says it’s okay.
Navid tells Teddy to show Silver his heart.
Q9: “Don’t go topless in St. Bart’s.” “I’ve been tanning my ta-tas in anticipation.”–Silver and Naomi
Adrianna walks up but Naomi says she doesn’t want to speak with her. Again, Silver says nothing–just like what happened with Annie. Be your own person, Silver!
Liam asks Ivy to the dance and she tries to hide her excitement.
Navid is following Jasper.
Q10: “I’m waiting for you to mess up. And when you do, I’ll be there.” “Just like Batman.”–Navid and Jasper
Navid says he knows Jasper pushed him down the stairs but Jasper says he hurt his head and doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Navid says he’ll provde it.
Navid finds Adrianna and asks her for help.
Navid tells Adrianna he knows it was Jasper who pushed him. She’s shocked and wonders why he would do that.
He explains it’s because he told him to stay away from you. But now he can’t prove it. He needs to prove he’s a drug dealer first by having someone come forward.
Adrianna says she can’t be the one because she’s still on probation.
She asks if she can do it anonymously but he says he can’t go to the administration with an anonymous source. He’s obviously disappointed.
Q11: Do you want me to kick your butt with the orange ball or the blue ball?–Debbie
Debbie took Dixon out of school to play mini-golf. She’s clearly trying to win him back.
She asks him how long he’s going to stay mad at her but he just asks to go home. She says they’re going to play first.
Liam tells Annie he owes her an apology for never telling the truth. He explains that he wanted to but Jen threatened him.
Jasper walks up, looking threatened himself.
Liam apologizes and leaves.
Jasper belittles it, saying an apology can’t make it better.
Annie says Jen sounds like a sociopath and she’s the reason that all these problems happened and why she’s not friends with him.
Q12: “Sometimes I miss–” “What?” “Everything.”–Annie and Jasper
Jasper says he’s still here for her and tells her they should go the dance.
Q13: “Dances are not your thing.” “Making you happy is my thing.”–Annie and Jasper
Dixon is miserably playing mini-golf.
Debbie apologizes, saying she was trying to protect him but he needs to apologize, too, for what he said.
He says he was mad but she said it was still a low-blow.
She recounts when he first moved in with them, he wouldn’t let her in.
He explains how hard it was when he first moved in because his new life was so different from his old one.
He didn’t understand how he would bond with this white family in surbubia. He planned on leaving as soon as he turned 18.
Debbie points out he bonded with Annie first. They reminisce on how much fun they had as siblings.
Q14: I think about my life now in Beverly Hills. How I got from here to there, it just never made any sense. One thing I never questioned was that you’re my mom.–Dixon
Debbie’s crying and now so am I!
That was a really sweet scene and I love hearing abut Dixon’s past and the early years with the Wilsons.
Teddy is on the TV screens at school, making his own PSA.
Q15: I’m done dating. Totally done. Because I met someone I want to commit to….And I mean it, Silver…If you give me a chance, I promise, I won’t let you down.–Teddy (I missed parts of that, sorry).
Teddy comes out mid-speech and finishes in person. He’s carrying flowers and again asks her to go the dance.
She tells him to stop, says no and that it’s not going to happen before walking off.
It looks like the dance is at the beach club.
Liam and Ivy are definitely under-dressed but look happy.
Ryan is organizing ticket-holders.
He pulls over Liam and apologizes for believing Jen. Liam says it’s okay and he’s just glad it’s over. Ryan agrees but looks sad when he walks away.
Jasper and Annie buy tickets from Adrianna. Adrianna looks uncomfortable. Jasper explains they have gym together. Adrianna asks if they’re dating and Jasper says “We sure are.” Annie looks uncomfortable now.
Annie looks great. She cut her hair, no?
BH90210 had a Winter Dance, too. It marked the beginning of Donna and David!
Dixon, Navid and Teddy are all there date-less.
Teddy is watching Silver from afar. He comments to Dixon that she looks beautiful and Dixon agrees, clearly getting that loving feeling back.
Silver says Naomi is their date.
Teddy walks up and asks her for “one dance, between friends.” She reluctantly agrees.
What’s her problem? Adrianna? Thinks it’s out of pity? What?
Never noticed that Jessica Stroup has a tattoo on the back of her neck.
Silver says she can’t leave Naomi for too long but Teddy says she’ll survive.
They’re outside and it starts snowing!
Ivy and Liam are in the photo booth having a good time. He comes out and spots Naomi across the dance floor. They look longingly at each other and Ivy comes over, ruining the moment.
Silver is freaking out about the snow.
Teddy says her name and plants a kiss on her. It’s very sweet.
Q16: If you can honestly say you didn’t feel anything, I’ll stop trying.–Teddy
Again, she says she’s done. She storms off and tells Naomi that he’s an ass. He said it was a friendly dance but it wasn’t.
Silver admits to Naomi that she felt something when they kissed but he’s a player.
Naomi says he seems he really cares for her and she needs to go for it before the moment passes.
Q17: Before he ends up with some she-male with only one pair of shoes.–Naomi
Jasper can tell Annie wants to dance but she makes little of it. He says they can and head out to the dance floor, as he says he doesn’t know how to dance. He says he’s never been to a dance before and she says she’s honored to teach him.
Q18: With you I can do anything.–Jasper
Navid is watching Annie and Jasper dance when Naomi walks up. He tells her Jasper’s a drug dealer and Naomi’s revulsed.
She asks if Annie knows and he says she doesn’t believe him. Naomi blames herself–she pushed her away and made sure the whole school alienated her, so it’s no wonder she ended up with Jasper.
Navid says he doesn’t know what they can do at this point.
Silver goes to find Teddy but before she gets to him, a girl approaches and gives him a big hug.
Turns out, the girl is his sister Savannah! He introduces her to Dixon.
She came home from boarding school after getting “the saddest texts she’s ever read.”
Q19: So who’s this girl who’s breaking your heart?–Savannah
Dixon looks uncomfortable.
Ivy tells Liam to be “real” to her. She asks if he still has feelings for Naomi. She says she’s not going cry about it but she deserves the truth.
Liam admits he does. She does look she’s going to cry!
She tells Liam to tell her how he feels but he says Naomi wants nothing to do with her.
He apologizes to Ivy but Ivy swears she’s fine.
Adrianna is going through a box and finds a bottle of alcohol. Ryan interrupts saying it’s there because he confiscated it.
He tells Ade she did a good job and can have her own night now.
She leaves and he pours himself some alcohol.
Q20: “I’m just saying you’re a good dancer.” “I’m just saying you’re a good liar.”–Annie and Jasper
Dixon grabs Annie and says it’s an emergency.
Waiting for her is Silver, Naomi and Navid. They say they’re here because they care about her and Jasper’s a bad guy.
Annie is instantly POed.
Naomi takes responsibility, saying this is her fault for pushing her away.
Navid says Japser is a drug dealer and pushed him down the stairs.
Annie says this is a rumor they are choosing to believe just like they believed Annie slept with Liam.
Navid admits they have no proof–until Adrianna steps in and says she’s bought drugs from him for the last month and she’s willing to come forward.
Annie walks off in tears, saying she needs to be alone.
Naomi and Silver ask Adrianna if she’s really willing to come forward.
She says she is. Jasper’s a bad guy and seeing her with Annie made her realize she needs to do something.
Silver says that’s really self-less. She and Naomi hope she doesn’t get suspended. They all promise to talk after the St. Bart’s trip.
That scene very much felt like Kelly-Donna-Brenda.
Naomi gets a text and says “Oh my god.”
Navid tells Adrianna she shouldn’t go to the administration because she’ll get expelled.
She says she’s willing to take the risk but he says he’s not. He still cares about her. She looks thrilled.
Silver is waiting for a cab, because Naomi had to take care of something.
Dixon comes over and they agree it’s been a weird night.
He asks her what’s wrong and reminds her that they’re friends.
She says the problem is Teddy and Dixon looks quite uncomfortable.
She explains Teddy’s been asking her out but she doesn’t know if she should give him a chance. But, she saw him with another girl.
Dixon doesn’t say the girl was Savannah and confirms that he’s a player and it’s better she knows now.
He adds that Teddy’s his friend but she is amazing and deserves better.
Q21: For the life of me, I can’t remember why I ever let you go.–Dixon
He kisses her and it is absolutely beautiful.
Teddy sees and his sister asks what’s wrong.
Q22: That’s the girl I can’t get.–Teddy
Silver asks Dixon what the kiss was about and he says he doesn’t know.
The cab arrives and she says they should talk when he gets back and she leaves.
Dixon comes home and tells Debbie the dance was intense.
They agree they’re both happy they got a chance to talk.
Dixon says he hasn’t thought about the adoption in a while and Debbie says the same.
He said he realizes it’s time he spoke to his birth mom. Debbie is shocked.
Liam is in his sketchy garage when Naomi knocks. He’s surprised and let’s her in.
She asks what’s under the sheet but he says it’s nothing.
She explains Ivy texted her and said she needs to find him because he needed to talk to her.
He says he doesn’t and asks what she has to say. She says she asked him first but he refuses.
She says she thought he changed but he hasn’t–he’s still private and secretive. He won’t even tell her what’s under the tarp.
She’s about to leave and he stops her. He pulls back the tarp and it’s the beginnings of a boat.
He says the wilderness program taught him to channel his anger so this is what he does. He used to sail with his dad.
Pacey on Dawson’s Creek made a boat as he pined for Joey. That was awesome.
Liam apologizes and explains how things went down with Jen. He said he didn’t come clean earlier because he didn’t want to hurt her.
Q23: Like you said, I’m private and secretive but I don’t want to be. And if you give me another chance, I won’t be.–Liam
They kiss and it’s amazing.
Felt very Ryan-Marissa, though.
Ivy is in her car crying and looking at the photobooth pictures.
Jasper finds Annie outside. He’s been looking for her.
She’s still crying.
She says she knows he’s a drug dealer and sold to Adrianna.
He admits it’s true and said he only sold to people who would buy anyway. And it was to finance the film.
Annie says she doesn’t even know who he is anymore.
She points out that he also pushed Navid down the stairs.
He says he didn’t. He pushed Navid. Then he fell.
Annie starts to walk away and tells him to stay away from her. He stops her, saying they’re the same.
Q24: I accidentally pushed Navid down the stairs and you accidentally ran over my uncle.–Jasper

EPISODE 2.11: And Away They Go!

Previously on: Silver tells Kelly Jackie is dying, Teddy tells Silver his mom died, Jackie dies, Jen admires a horse, Jen tells Naomi she’s getting divorced and needs $100,000 for the lawyer, Jen buys the racehorse with Naomi’s money, Liam tells Ivy about his Jen’s problem, Liam vows to destroy Jen, Teddy says he will help, Adrianna buys drugs from Jasper, Annie says Jasper isn’t a drug deal and Dixon said Navid says he is, Harry tells Annie she can’t see Jasper anymore, Jasper tells Navid he’s not a drug dealer but if he was he wouldn’t be the kind of guy you want to mess with, Jasper pushes Navid down the stairs
Navid wakes up in the hospital. His parents are ecstatic.
He says his head and arm hurts. He broke his arm and has a concussion.
The nurse/doctor says he’s lucky.
Naomi, Teddy, Dixon Liam and Ivy come to visit. Why would Naomi be with them??
Navid asks where Adrianna is. Naomi reminds him that he isn’t with Adrianna anymore.
His mom asks if remembers what happened–how he got hurt.
He says he was at the Blaze editing a story. He left the office, walked down the hallway and was on his way to Calculus and then…he doesn’t remember.
Dixon looks suspicious.
Navid’s dad points out that the doctor said memory loss was possible.
He said he’s tired and they let him rest.
Adrianna wakes up when her phone beeps. She seems hung over.
It’s a text from Naomi asking where she is and saying to call.
Ade listens to her voicemail. It’s from Naomi, apparently from the other day, because it says that Silver’s mom is in the hospital but she has no idea where she (Ade) is or why she’s been MIA.
The next message is Naomi saying she still can’t reach her and Silver’s mom died and the funeral is tomorrow and it would be nice if Ade came.
Ade is shocked and takes some pills as she listens.
The next message is Naomi saying she doesn’t know why she’s even calling again but she should know Navid is in the hospital because he fell down the stairs at school and “it’s really not good.”
See what happens when you do drugs and sleep, Ade?
She hurridly puts on clothes and is about to leave when she stops to grab her pills…and throws them out!
Naomi is running down the hospital hallway and yells for the elevator to be held. She gets there and it’s Liam and Ivy. Awkward!
Naomi and Ivy eye each other. It’s interesting to see them with such different clothing styles and looks.
Liam says he thought she already left but she says she forgot her purse.
Liam asks how Silver is and Naomi says she’s alright.
Ivy asks where they parked–obviously trying to show that they at least came together.
Adrianna shows up at Navid’s hospital room and asks how he is.
He says “Worse than I’ve ever felt in my life but not too bad.” Hm, okay.
Adrianna says he was right about her doing drugs and she was acting stupid. She says his accident was a “wake-up call” and she’s done with drugs forever.
She admits what she said to him earlier was wrong and she didn’t mean it when she said she didn’t love him. She blames it on the drugs.
Q1: You were the love of my life.–Adrianna
Q2: When I woke up, you were the first person–the only person–I wanted to see. Then I remembered everything that happened between us. All of it. How could you? You should go.–Navid
Ade looks crushed but she leaves.
In class, Ryan tells everyone he needs their essays as they leave. Jen’s standing in the doorway.
Q3: Aren’t they angsty enough? With all the hormones and the acne. Is existentialsm really necessary?–Jen
Ryan’s shirt is a little too open for a school teacher.
Jen comes on to him with some sexual innuendo and asks him what he’s doing this weekend.
Ivy is about to come back in the classroom and sees them so she stops but listens.
Jen says her horse is racing and he can join her and Naomi.
Q4: Horses, champagne. My sister and I in very cute hats.–Jen
Ryan agrees to go and they start kissing when Ivy interrupts, saying she forgot her book. She grabs it and leaves.
She runs and finds Liam, saying she knows how to take Jen down.
Naomi and Silver are in Silver’s garage/room.
Apparently there was a shiva for Jackie. Um, why? She wasn’t Jewish!
Silver asks if it’s OK they left and Naomi said it is and Kelly will be fine.
Silver is surprised by all the people that were there that she never met and yet they were all “so sorry for my loss.” She says it’s all surreal.
It’s kind of nice to see Naomi there with her now, in spite of their differences in years past. Reminds me of Blair-Serena, Brooke-Peyton, etc.
Q5: I can’t believe my mom’s in a coffin.–Silver
She also says she can’t believe Adrianna wasn’t there. She blames the drugs.
There’s a knock at the door. All that’s there are pink roses in a vase.
The card is from Teddy, apologizing for not going to the funeral and saying he’s thinking of her.
Hm. Why didn’t he go?
Naomi asks the same question, pointing out that at the hospital, he was all dressed up.
Annie is talking to Jasper about Navid. She’s heard from different people that he fainted, had a seizure, etc.
Jasper asked what Navid said and Annie answers that her dad went in the ambulance and Navid was out of it.
He cuts her off when she continues to say what her dad says, because he only cares about what Navid said.
She apologizes for bringing up her dad, given how dinner went. She says she’s not going to let her parents come between them.
He just says he needs to go to class and leaves her confused.
Teddy is hitting tennis balls from the roof of a building when Silver interrupts.
She thanks him for the flowers and asks how he’s doing.
He points out that he should be asking her that but she says she’s asking him.
He said he didn’t come because he can’t “do funerals.” He says he doesn’t know what’s wrong with him.
Silver says it’s okay, saying he barely knew her mother.
Well, they did have that bonding session two episodes ago…
He says he didn’t go to his mom’s funeral, which surprises Silver.
He says he couldn’t although he tried. When he got to the church, he couldn’t get out of the car like “a coward.”
Silver tells him he’s not a coward and hugs him.
It’s a really sweet moment but what a sad way to bond!
He apologizes again, saying he wanted to be there for her.
Q6: You were. You are.–Silver
He kisses her and she accepts!
But then she pulls away and they both apologize.
Teddy says they’re both going through a lot, making them vulnerable.
Q7: You know, since we did kiss, you’re kind of my boyfriend now.–Silver
He totally freaks. It’s kind of funny but not in light of Adrianna. Seems more like something Ivy would say, anyway.
Adrianna’s back at school when Jasper comes up. She asks him what he wants and he asks if she’s “running low.”
She says she’s done with drugs and Jasper says that’s “impressive.”
He asks about Navid and Ade says he’s still in the hospital.
Jasper asks if he fell down the stairs and Jasper says he doesn’t remember what happened.
When she turns around, Jasper’s gone.
He’s run over to Annie and kissed her. He must be happy to be free and clear.
He apologizes for being a “dick” earlier. He says her parents not liking him sent him “into a dark place” and Annie says she understands and not to worry.
Q8: “Nobody else matters as long as we have each other.” “Which we do.”–Annie and Jaspe
She leaves for class and walks into Harry, who obviously saw them together. He says they need to talk when school is over.
Ivy says she’s been thinking about the Jen thing and asks Liam if he’s doing this because he still likes Naomi.
He immediately says no and that’s it because Jen has been lying for months and that’s a good enough reason.
He apologizes to her and she apologizes to him and they kiss.
What happened to just being friends with benefits? Seems more like BF-GF to me.
Teddy interrupts them, clearly surprised.
Q9: I knew you guys were close but I didn’t know how close!–Teddy
Liam says it’s not a big deal and Ivy agrees, saying they just hang out.
Liam tells Teddy they’re not a “couple-couple” so to keep it on the “down-low.”
Q10: So don’t tweet about it, pretty boy, okay?–Ivy
Funny, since Trevor Donovan is actually on Twitter.
Debbie and Harry are telling Annie they told her not to see Jasper anymore.
She says it’s school–she’s going to run into him.
Harry reminds her that she was kissing him.
Annie accuses him of spying and he says he’s just being the principal.
She says he can control her at home but not at school. Hmm.
Debbie says yes, they can control her outside of school and she’s grounded.
Naomi and Silver are dressing up in Jackie’s old clothes. Why, I don’t know.
Silver realizes she needs to re-join the “real world” soon and Naomi does a funny little dance.
Adrianna comes in and they’re both shocked and not happy to see her.
Ade apologizes for being a “really terrible friend” and wants to make it up to her.
Q11: Ade, stop. You want to be a good friend for Silver? Leave her alone. What Silver needs right now is friends she can rely on and clearly that’s not you.–Naomi
Sounds like something Jen would say. Two peas in a pod?
Ade starts crying and Silver just stands there. Can’t she speak for herself?
Back at home, Adrianna gets her pills out of the garbage and then flushes them down the toilet.
Annie and Dixon start to fight in the kitchen.
Debbie comes in asking what their plans are for the day.
Annie says she has study group but she’s grounded so can’t go but Debbie says she can.
Dixon says his plans are just “hanging out with my friends.”
Debbie takes Annie to school and she says she’ll find her own ride home.
Debbie leaves and Jasper pulls up and Annie hops in.
How very Brenda and Dylan of them!

Now we’re at the racetrack. BH90210 did an episode at one, too. Different pretenses, though.
Jen and Naomi go to see her horse. She gives the horse a pep talk and tells Naomi to do it, too.
The jockey hits on Naomi and she’s grossed out.
Jen says the jockey, Danny, would be good for her and help take her mind off Liam.
Q12: I didn’t realize you had the opportunity to smoke crack this morning.–Naomi
Jen says she and Danny would be great together.
Q13: Then you go date the flirty little Napoleon guy.–Naomi
Naomi and Silver are getting food. Silver says she feels alright.
Someone brings over a gift for Naomi from her secret admirer. It’s a scarf.
Debbie brings laundry into Annie’s room and spots her textbook, the one she should need for study group.
Q14: Who names a horse Daddy Loves Pumpernickel?–Silver
In the box next to where they’re seated is Teddy, Ivy and Dixon. Naomi is surprised and disappointed to see them, particularly Ivy.
Teddy is surprised, not knowing they were going to be there. But I imagine this is all part of the plan.
Naomi and Ivy starts to badmouth each other to their respective friend(s).
Q15: I’m not irked by Naomi. I just think she might suffer from brain damage swallowing all that lip gloss.–Ivy
…she says while her own lips are perfectly coated.
Dixon calls Teddy a player but then says he admires that he doesn’t let himself get “tied down.” He says “girls are nothin’ but trouble.”
Ivy says guys are worse and Teddy, looking at Silver, says both of them are right and that relationships are trouble and he accepts that he’s a player.
Naomi gets another gift from her secret admiring. It’s a necklace from Tiffany’s.
She asks the guy if her the admirer is less than 5 feet tall and gets excited when the guy says he’s not. The guy says that’s all he can say and he’ll reveal himself in time.
Annie and Jasper are making out in the car by the beach. Again, how very Brenda and Dylan of them!

Ivy tries to order a whiskey but the guy asks her for ID.
Dixon wonders what’s taking Liam so long.
Teddy says he’s probably still working with his phone.
Dixon wonders how he could delete the evidence he had.
Ivy says the tech guy she recommended will be able to help.
Liam comes over and says they’re ready to go.
Sitting nearby, listening, is Jen. She looks worried.
Life UneXpected commercial. LUX stars Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek).
Naomi and Jen are cheering on the horse.
They can win $200,000 which excites Naomi because she thinks they got the horse for free.
Ryan is surprised that someone would gift them a horse.
The race starts and their horse wins. They’re ecstatic.
Dixon sees Silver in the restaurant area. He goes over to her.
He says he’s sorry about her mom and she thanks him for coming to the funeral.
He blows it off as no big deal and she says it is a big deal and she feels bad for what happened at the end of last year, including kissing Ethan.
Yay an Ethan mention!
But isn’t water under the bridge? I mean, they already got back together…and broke up!
Dixon says he forgives her and she says she misses him.
Q17: You weren’t just my boyfriend. You were my friend.–Silver
He says he misses her, too, and they hug.
Teddy watches from afar, looking uncomfortable and jealous.
Jen and Naomi are posing with the horse for pictures.
Navid is still in the hospital and Adrianna comes by. She says she was at an AA meeting.
She has answer to his question of “how could you?”.
She explains that, even though she was sober when they were together, she still acted like an addict and being self-destructive. She screwed things up because there’s a part of her that doesn’t like when things are going well because she doesn’t feel like she deserves it. She recognizes that now and says she’s going to work on it and being sober will mean more than just not taking drugs.
All he says is okay.
She says she knows it’s too late for them but as she works on herself, if he decides he’s ready to be friends, she’s willing.
He thanks her and she leaves.
He’s about to call after her but doesn’t.
Liam is in the restaurant area watching a TV scene of another race when Jen approaches and snatches his phone. She says they need to talk and he agrees.
The guy brings Naomi another massive “prezzie.”
Jen calls Liam out on her recording her with his phone, “like a little spy.”
Q18: And what? You thought you’d play the recording for Naomi and she’d realize what a little big bad baddie I am?–Jen
She asks if he has more copies and he says he’s tired of her bullying and Naomi deserves to know the truth.
Q19: Please. That girl doesn’t know anything about anything and she never will. That’s one of the most charming qualities of my sister. Her naivete.–Jen
It’s kind of true that Jen is smarter and definitely more cultured–but that’s not always a good thing.
Naomi is gushing about her new hat, necklace and scarf. The guy leads her to a private room, where she’s to wait for the admirer.
She positions herself on the couch all sexily.
Outside the room, the guys texts Dixon that “the eagle has landed” and he waves an umbrella.
Jen is still asking Liam if he has another recording and he doesn’t say anything. She smashes his phone and he looks away, as if he’s mad and sees the umbrella.
Liam yells “screw you” really loudly and Jen jokes about his temper and calling his parents.
Liam recounts what happened between them very loudly…because they are on the balcony of the room Naomi is in!
She hears and moves towards the doors.
Q20: If it makes it better, it’s not like I enjoyed it. I’ve slept with a lot of men, Liam, and you were very boring.–Jen
Naomi opens the doors and Jen is shocked and Liam has a shy smirk on his face.
Q21: It was you? I don’t ever want to see you again.–Naomi
Jen is stunned into silence as leaves as Naomi holds back tears.
Teddy, Ivy and Dixon and the guy run over to congratulate Liam.
They joke how it was all very Ocean’s 11.
Liam looks back and Naomi is sitting with her head in her lap. He’s not so happy anymore.
Jen goes to Ryan, asking to leave and he’s clearly distressed.
Q22: Dixon just told me something pretty messed up. I don’t want to believe it but did you have sex with your sister’s boyfriend?–Ryan
Jen says the “kids have it out for me” but then she admits that it’s true.
Q23: That was before I met you, Ryan. But you have changed me and if you have made me want to be a better person.–Jen
The guy that sold her the horse comes over and congratulates her on the win, saying her purchase of the horse was a great investment.
Q24: “I thought that horse was a gift.” “A gift she bought for herself.”–Ryan and the guy.
He concludes she bought the horse with Naomi’s money and Naomi has no idea.
Jen points out that he said that she could be honest with him about anything and he wouldn’t be scared off but Ryan says he was wrong and leaves.
Jen is left standing alone, sad and shocked. With the music, it’s almost like we’re expected to have sympathy for her. No can do.
Silver is comforting Naomi, who is crying and wondering what kind a sister–or any person–could do this. Silver says she doesn’t know and she’s there for her now, for whatever she needs.
Naomi says she needs to talk to Liam. She gets up to go find him.
Teddy spots Silver in the room but doesn’t go in.
Ivy finds Liam sitting alone. She’s still excited about pulling it off.
Q25: How can I be happy when Naomi is so unhappy?–Liam
Aw.
Ivy is clearly bothered. She points out that he should be happy for getting his revenge.
They stand up to leave and he thanks her for helping, saying she was great. She jokes that she didn’t have anything better to do.
She spots Naomi and kisses him. Naomi sees and takes off.
Liam is caught off-guard and points out that they are in public and this isn’t keeping it on the down-low. Ivy shrugs it off, saying no one saw them.
Annie is in her room listening to music when her parents come in. They ask her about study group. She, of course, lies and they call her out on it.
Dixon comes in and says the chem book is his; he had been looking for it.
Annie goes into Dixon’s room and thanks him for covering for her.
He said he owed because he screwed up and should’ve apologized a while ago but they kept fighting. He says he’s sorry and says he should’ve believed her when she said she didn’t sleep with Liam.
She asks why he believes her now and she says because Liam told him the truth–Liam had sex with Naomi’s sister. Annie is shocked and grossed out.
Dixon wonders how siblings can be “so messed up” and they laugh. He says whenever they want to hang out or just talk, he’s here. She agrees and they hug and laugh.
Q26: I lost the person I loved most in this world and now all I have left is a stupid horse.–Naomi
Does she mean Liam or Jen? And should she be saying this to Silver who’s mom just DIED?!
Silver says she’s going to get junk food for them to eat.
Naomi takes out her phone and leaves a voicemail for someone.
Q27: Hi, it’s Naomi. Please call me back. I owe you a very big apology. I’m so sorry, Annie.–Naomi
Ivy is drawing on Navid’s cast. Liam is there, too.
Navid is asking for details on the day. Liam is clearly distracted.
Ivy suggests they go get food and jokes they can sneak Navid out. She shows him his sneakers and he starts to remember his accident.
It flashesback to Jasper’s combat boots.
Q28: Before I fell down the stairs, I was pushed. And I know who did it.–Navid
Fade to black!
Preview: It’s the Winter Wonderland Dance. Annie tells Jasper she used to love going to dances. Silver and Teddy are dancing (maybe ksising; it’s hard to see). Someone asks Liam if he’s going to ask Ivy to the dance. Teddy asks Silver. Liam asks Ivy. Naomi suggests to Silver they go tanning topless in anticipation.

Glee is going all One Tree Hill! Don’t worry, Chad Michael Murray won’t guest star, but Finn will be playing basketball instead of football when the show returns April 13, because…football season is over, dummies! “It’s basketball now. Finn Hudson is the captain o the basketball team.” Also, we would bet some seriously good money that Adam Lambert will indeed guest star on the show, because a source who tells us everything about everything clammed up with a “no comment” when asked about the rumor that it is really happening. Quick, Chris Colfer, grab a keyboard!

K.J. in the Caribbean: When will The Secret Life of the American Teenager be back?
Jan. 4, and according to Shailene Woodley, “There might be another pregnancy, [and] a couple of weddings, hookups, breakups, all that drama.” Look for Shailene’s storylines to split between her relationship with the baby and her relationship with Ricky. Plus, Francia Raisa tells us, “There are a lot of new hookups, especially with me. I’m gonna tease you guys a lot this season. My character’s grown a lot in the season that’s coming up, and then she has a huge storyline coming up toward the end of the season. It’s really good, so dramatic, really juicy.” Any guesses about Adrian’s big twist?

Meagan in New Jersey: The spoiler chat needs more One Tree Hill. Have anything juicy to share?
I’m hearing from a source that Taylor James, Hailey and Quinn’s bad seed sister from season two, will be back! Lindsey McKeon is reprising her role as Taylor—and she’s not coming back empty handed. She might just have another James family member by her side, and wait a sec, who’s that man on her arm? Hint: You’ve definitely seen him before. Word is, Taylor will be back somewhere around episode 14.

Noelle in Normal, Ill.: Gossip Girl Insider says that a new episode will be on Jan. 4. They are liars, right?
Perhaps misinformed? We’re told that after tonight’s episode, the next new one will be Monday, March 8, per the show’s CW rep. In other more exciting Gossip Girl news, I’m told Serena’s father will come back sometime toward the end of the season. And sadly, for all you who write in week after week asking if there will be some hot and steamy Chuck and Blair sex scenes coming up, I’m still not hearing of anything scantily clad or scandalous. Now you know what to ask for from Santa!

Randall in Atlanta: 90210, please! Who is going to commit suicide?!
I can’t say who, but I can tell you that he—yes, he—is not leaving the show. So it is just a suicide attempt. In other news, the Adriana and Gia ladylove storyline starts when 90210 returns from hiatus, and Navid will wonder if he made Adrianna gay. (Apparently he isn’t aware how such things work!) I’m told that Silver and Teddy develop a full-fledged relationship, but of course, they will have their complications…

Nell in Watsonville, Calif.: Any scoop on 90210? I’m addicted!
We’ll be meeting Liam’s slickster ex-con father in an upcoming episode. (Ex Duke of Hazzard John Schneider plays Liam’s stepfather, in case you were confused.) Got any dream casting for the part?

EPISODE 7.12: Some Roads Lead Nowhere

This is the last new episode until January 18.
Clay is sitting by a fire. He doesn’t look happy.
He gets a message on his phone and throws it into the water without checking it.
Cut to Alex’s phone in the water. Then we get the same aerial shot last week ended on as the blood filters through the water.
Rachel tells Dan’s they’re going to have a good show.
Jamie, dressed like a bullfighter (I forget the exact name) says moving to Spain is “bullshit”! Cut to him with soap in his mouth! LOL
Julian finds Alex in the tub and tries to lift her out. Did he listen to her message? How he’d get into her room?
Skills tells Lauren he got the job. She seems shocked, but didn’t she know it was coming?
Millicent walks into the bathroom and sees the blood filled tub with more blood dripping on the sides…but no Alex. She starts crying hysterically.
Julian is sitting somewhere distressed. I imagine the hospital.
Mouth comes into the bathroom and Millicent cries in his arms.
Brooke sits next to Julian at the hospital.

Haley is yelling at Jamie, saying they don’t use that language and Spain will be great.
Q1: Forgiveness is love, you know.–Jamie
Q2: “How is it my fault?” “He’s quoting your father!”–Naley
Nathan says he goes to the bar when he has a bad day. Jamie’s excited! LOl
Quinn comes to Clay’s. He’s still packing.
She says what’s going on “sucks turtle eggs.”
Q3: “Turtle eggs, really?” “I don’t know. It sucks something.”
Quinn says she heard from his assistant that Joe Turner’s mom is sick. Apparently he plays for some team and this sickness is good news for Clay. I imagine for Nate.
Nathan brings Jamie to Tric, where Nate tells Grubbs Jamie is his old college roommate.
LOL! Jamie just make a joke about his birthday month always changes! That was priceless!
Jamie is served beer…root beer. Two cherries.
That was a really cute scene. Wish I had all the dialogue.
The SportsArc peeps want Skills in L.A. on Monday.
Lauren tells him he’s going to do great but says she’s hurt he didn’t ask her to go with him.
So then he asks and she says she can’t but it was nice to be asked.
Alex wakes up in a hospital bed to see Julian by her side.
Q4: “I can’t believe I made it to heaven.” “I can’t believe you put me through hell.”–Alex and Julian
Q5: “You came.” “Of course I came.” “That’s what she said.”–Alex and Julian
Um, I thought those were Brooke’s jokes?!
Julian says he got her voicemail and was going to see her to take back the mean things he said.
He explains the movie got financing and she needs to get better because he won’t make it without her.

LOL Jamie is venting to Grubbs as a drunk man would.
Q6: I bet they don’t even have recess.–Jamie
Miranda comes up and Nate says they haven’t told Jamie about the tour yet.
Grubbs’ psychic powers don’t work on Miranda. He keeps predicting her drinks incorrectly.
Interesting to see Miranda interacting with someone other than Lily.
Clay is with Joe Turner in the hospital. He admits he’s not with the agency anymore.
Joe says his mom has cancer and she has less than a year to leave. He doesn’t know what’s he going to do.
He asks Clay if he ever lost someone close to him. Jackpot?
Clay says yes but doesn’t say who. He recommends making the most of the time they have together and asks him if he wants to play closer to help.
Millicent tells Mouth she stole a dress from Brooke.
Mouth says she needs to tell Brooke the truth. She’s the one who trusted her and helped her all this time.
Mouth questions how Millie can’t see how special she is.
Q7: When I look at that mirror, I just want to cut a line on it and snort it. That’s what I see.–Millie
Brooke comes into CoB and tells her mom that Alex will be as OK as can be, given she just tried to kill herself.
Victoria is telling the press it was exhaustion.
Brooke says everything is a mess, citing Millie’s arrest, Alex, her fights with Julian, etc.
Victoria points out that Millie stole the red dress.
Julian is still by Alex’s bedside.
Q8: Do you know what happens when you die, Alex? You die. That’s what happens.–Julian
Clay and Quinn are in the car when he suddenly starts talking about Sara’s death and how he was talking to her about a pen right before she died.
Q9: I just think we waste our words and we waste our moments and we don’t take the time to say what’s really in our hearts.–Clay
Q10: You danced with her and you held her before she died. I can’t think of a better way to say goodbye.–Quinn
How about actually, you know, being able to *say* goodbye and profess your love one last time? That’s all I want.
Dan is in the hallway, filming the show live. He admits that it’s “malicious” towards the families of Keith and Jimmy.
He says he’s going to deviate from the teleprompter…
Q11: Because this is my final show. And nobody knew that until now. So…I suggest you stick around because with the look on my wife’s face, there’s going to be a few surprizes.

Clay is the phone with an agent or coach or saying that, with Joe Turner, he can make the deal they want work.
Now they’re at the Bobcats gym, looking for the general manager. Quinn will pose as a cheerleader so Clay can get inside.
Nathan and Grubbs are throwing tomatoes at Jamie, who is wrapped in a garbage bag and wearing goggles.
Haley comes in and pretends to be alarmed until she throws one at Nate. Kind of funny.
Clay is talking to the manager, who is surprised Clay is there without an agency.
He explains that Joe Turner wants to play close to home and will sign a long-term deal. If they trade the guy they have now, they can get Joe. And presumable Nate.
Quinn is dressed in the cheerleader work-out clothes. She has to perform a panel of judges or coaches, I guess.
This is kind of gratuitous. Or at least pointless. Now it’s kind of funny.
Tthe manager spots Quinn doing hilarious, random moves. This is probably her best scene ever.
Clay and the manger are both amused.
Now this is intercut with the tomato fight. Kinda cute. It’s working well together and with this episode, unlike last week’s supposedly “funny” stuff.
Clay’s cheering for her was kind of adorable, too.
Q12: Yeah! Alright! Sucks to be next!–Clay
Brooke sits by Alex’s bed as she sleeps.
Rachel is POed as she watches Dan doing his show…on his terms.
Q13: I’m a wealthy man but let’s face it. You shouldn’t be able to murder a man in cold blood and profit from it.–Dan
He says he’s giving ALL of it back and eyes Rachel.
He says it’s time for him to go and shuts off the counter.
Haley and co. are covered in tomatoes. It’s pretty funny.
Haley says she’ll miss TRIC. Her first performance was there.
She also says she’ll miss the bathrooms. LOL Love the slutty wedding sex last season!
Jamie is eating cherries just as I did all last week! Funny!
Jamie says he’ll miss Grandpa Dan.
Dan is still filming. He says there’s no such thing as forgiveness.
Q14: There’s just what comes next…There’s only pain and guilt and the misery of knowing who you are and what you did. So don’t do it. Just stop before it’s too late.–Dan
Rachel storms off. She kinda looked like she had tears in her eyes.
A gun shot sounds and
Q15: I miss you, big brother. Every second of every day. It’s there. And that’s all there is.–Dan
Jamie is playing with Chester. I love seeing that bunny.
Nathan says the guys will be there soon for the contact signing.
Nate spots Jamie’s jersey in the garbage.
He says he knows Jamie isn’t thrilled about playing overseas.
Q16: “My agents did the best they could.” “So did Clay. But you fired him.”–Nathan and Jamie
Good point, Jamie!
Quinn and Clay are talking about her fear of the ocean.
She says it has to do with immensity and Clay says life is immense.
Quinn jokes that she’ll need an agent if she gets the job.
Clay says she’s a terrible dancer but he was turned on. LOL
Brooke is talking to Alex as she sleeps, saying it’s selfish to try suicide when there are other people who clamoring to live and they can’t.
Millie walks in and asks if everything’s okay.
Q17: She’s gonna live. It’s debatable with you.–Brooke
Millie apologizes and Brooke asks what happened.
She explains she was trying to lose weight and “it” was just there in Alex’s closet.
Brooke finally realizes that Millie’s been doing drugs.
Q18: You’re not my model anymore. But you’re still my friend. Just go get some help.–Brooke
Cut to Millie in a rehab.
Mouth says he’s proud of her and wishes he could stay.
She says she needs to do this alone.
But she adds how good they were together and they sadly agree that sometimes it doesn’t work out.
Q19: I will always be there for you, sweet girl.–Mouth
Brooke is drawing a sketch of Millie before she rips it up and throws towards the garbage can and misses.
Q20: That’s not a very good shooting percentage.–Julian
Julian tells her he loves her, misses her and wants to be with her. Then he says he’s going to make the movie with Alex.
She doesn’t look happy.
She asks when Julian when he first met Peyton.
He says she was crying in the copy room.
And then Brooke asks when they first starting dating.
He says when she needed help with Sam.
Brooke points out that now Alex needs help.
Julian talks about his mom. She was always trying to do stuff for everyone else but no one ever told her how special she was. She turned to pills and alcohol and “became the not so special person she thought she was all along.”
Brooke points out that fixing Alex won’t fix his mom.
Q21: Maybe I can help her before her fire burns out. And if not, at least I tried.–Julian
And we thought Lucas had a savior complex!
Brooke is not happy. I don’t blame her.
Those were a lot of sad, emotional scenes in a row. I kind of loved it.

Nate is getting $7 million for the deal!
Nathan is about to sign the contact when Clay and Quinn walk in.
Jamie calls him Uncle Clay. Hmmm.
Clay says he has something he can do for Nathan.
The agents say they don’t have time for this. Nathan looks at Jamie and says they do have time.
Clay admits he was was arrogant and aggressive and forgot about putting the client first.
He says the Sacramento Kings want Nathan for $15 million…with 3 conditions.
1. Nathan signs with Clay. 2. The no-trade clause is waved…so Nathan and Joe Turner are immediately traded to the Bobcats! 3…
Q22: I plan on falling completely and insanely in love with Quinn.–Clay
Wow. That was quite moving, too.
Clay says he needs to get to work, turns and leaves with a big smile.
Quinn is smiling, too.
Naley is ecstatic.
Grubbs is playing the piano music that was in the promo.
Skills and Lauren are saying goobye. She’s crying.
He says he loves her and always will. She will, too.
Rachel is at the lawyer, confirming that all the money is gone.
All that’s left for her is divorce papers.
Dan is at a bus, getting ready to board when Nathan walks up.
He says he heard about the show. He says he’s going to resign with the Bobcats and thanks him (um, what?) for helping him get there.
He says Jamie wants to say goodbye.
Jamie runs up, asking him why he’s leaving.
Q23: “I’ve done a lot of bad things, Jamie. And I’m sorry.” “It’s okay. I forgive you.”–Dan and Jamie
Miranda watches Grubbs playing the piano and singing the music, like Mia does. This must be a WakeyWakey song. I really like it.
Millie is escaping from rehab via the fire escape.
Clay is on the beach. He starts to take off his jacket and walks to the water.
Nathan and Joe are doing a press conference.
They’re asked how it happened so far and Nate says they have a great agent.
Quinn sees Clay in the water. He says he’ll come out but she says she’ll come in.
She takes off her sweater and walks in.
Q24: “Did you mean what you said? About falling in love with me?” “Insanely in love. Yeah.”–Quinn and Clay
They kiss.
Haley is putting bags on her tour bus. Nathan and Jamie join her.
Julian is again by Alex’s bedside.
She apologizes again.
He says if she ever does this again, he won’t miss her and he won’t think of her. Reverse psychology, huh?
She promises and they hold hands as Brooke watches from the window.
Now Brooke’s in Clothes over Bros when a guy walks in.
It’s Alexander Coine (or something like that). He’s the Australian businessman we knew was coming. He says Victoria hired him as the new designer.
Fade to black.

EPISODE 3.12: The Debarted

Previously on: Bart died in an accident, Chuck wants to make money by age 21, Jenny and Eric are feuding, Gabrielle knows Dan loves Vanessa, Serena finds the letter and tells Lily not to judge her, Nate tells Serena not to get in the car and Tripp beckons her to come.
This is the last new episode until March 8.
A car is driving at night in the rain.
Serena and Trip are in there. They don’t look happy.
They start to fight over the radio.
Tripp says he loves her but she says everything is ruined already and it’s too late and he says it doesn’t have to be.
Serena spots some wolves in the road. They swerve and crash.
It’s now 12 hours earlier.
Blair is trying to charm Chuck with food.
He’s being distant.
She accuses him of trying to avoid the day. I think it’s the anniversary of Bart’s death.
He says he has a meeting and Blair says she’s coming, too.
Lily is cleaning out the coat closest…again. She’s looking for the letter.
Rufus is perplexed, of course.
Lily admits she’s mad at Serena for covorting with a married politician.
Rufus says he can help her out because he’s “totally free.”
Lily says she expected him to say that, kind of nastily.
Rufus senses it and Lily apologizes and says she likes how he’s made family the priority.
Serena and Tripp appear to be in a cottage somewhere.
He’s getting on the commitee he wants.
Serena says everything will blow over but he says it will blow up first.
Q1: If getting together means everything will fall apart, so be it.–Serena
Does she really think she’s going to be a politican’s wife? Starting now? For the rest of her life? That’s so not Serena. She’s clearly not thinking about the future at al.
Blair is turned off when Chuck takes her to a homeless shelter.
Q2: This whole Scrooge act. You should be at home today or laying flowers on your father’s grave.–Blair
Chuck tells Blair to take the limo and leave.
Q3: Fine. Pretend you don’t get sad. But I know…You, Chuck Bass, are not your father.–Blair
Tripp is on the phone with someone, saying they should talk.
Q4: What better way to choose your path than making it your destiny?–Gossip Girl
Someone says “you did the right thing, son” and puts his arm on Chuck’s shoulder.
It’s Bart!
But I believe we know if it’s a ghost.
Chuck shrugs him off and walks in the building.
Jenny runs into the mean girls when another girl comes up and kind of fights with her over a designer bag.
The girl was sent by Eric and Kira. They are using her to take down Jenny.
Have we seen this girl before? I don’t remember.
Dan is telling Nate than Gabrielle was right: he is in love with Vanessa.
Surprised they’re talking about this given V and Nate’s past.
Nate says Dan can man up and go after his love or set his sights on someone else.
Enter Vanessa and a friend. They invite Dan to join them and Paul at the girl’s vacation house.
Dan turns them down. Nate yells at him, saying this is his chance to get V or at least the other girl, Willa.
Dan yells after them that he will in fact go.
Rufus goes to the condo association meeting, where the women are pleased to see Rufus.
They insinuate he has nothing to do so they always expected him to come at some point.
He pretends not to be insulted.
Serena is calling Tripp, wondering where he is.
Tripp claims he’s with his grandfather. I doubt it.
Serena says she came to be with him and she’s alone.
He apologizes and says he’s sorry he’s a mess and he’ll be home tonight.
Tripp is with Maureen. He tells to stick with their plan and they’ll get it all: his career, his relationship AND her marriage.
Maureen says Serena is just a phase but Tripp says “that’s where our opinions diverge.”
Maureen says she’s going to make a “personal, woman-to-woman” appeal to Serena.
Bart is telling Chuck he’s been working impressively but tells him just to sign the contact already.
Chuck says he doesn’t need his advice and that he’s been doing well without him.
Bart says he hasn’t seen anything this past year that shows he’s successful. In fact, he calls Chuck a “disappointment.”
Q5: You opened your heart to Blair and it made you weak. You can’t be one person at work and another person at home. When you’re soft, you’re sort. And let’s face it–your soft.–Bart.
Ouch.
Chuck storms off and Bart’s gone.
Serena is calling Nate.
I can’t believe he would even talk to her after she rejected him and left him!
She says she’s at the cottage but doesn’t know how to turn on the heat.
He doesn’t either, but leads her to his old pot stash in the meantime.
Nate asks where Tripp is and she says he’s with grandfather.
Nate looks uneasy.
She says they’re glad they can still talk and they hang up.
Maureen comes in.
Serena says she needs to leave or she’ll tell Tripp. Maureen says Tripp is the one who told her she was there.
She explains they are keeping their marriage and Serena can be the mistress.
Q6: You’re getting whatever you’re getting. Screwed. I think that’s what they call it.–Maureen
Q7: I’m Jackie. You’re Marilyn.–Maureen
Maureen says Tripp is skeptical but didn’t know she had the letter.
Maureen wonders what Rufus would say about the letter, which says Serena’s father and Lily were together in a hotel room and you can only imagine what they were doing!
She adds that, with what she knows, she could’ve forced her out altogether but she’s not.

Blair finds Chuck drunk in bed.
He says she doesn’t need him take care of him.
Q8: I know how hard it was for you to let you guard down, to let me in. But you’ve changed.–Blair
He spies Bart peering in the windows.
Chuck says he’s buying the homeless building.
Q9: “Just tell me what you need me to do.” “I need you to get out of here now.”–Blair and Chuck
Blair leaves and Bart says there’s still hope for him.
Eric is with the mean girls and Jenny comes up, giving them matching bags to her own.
Eric is thrown for a loop and asks where they get the money.
Blair is with Lily, assuming she needs to be comforted.
But Lily has forgotten it is even the anniversary! She hides it well, though.
Blair says Chuck has never been to his mom’s grave and doesn’t even know where it is.
Rufus comes in and Blair explains the anniversary. Rufus comforts Lily saying he understands now why she was being distant.
She says she’s so grateful she has him and never wants to lose him. Hmm.
Serena is getting advice from Nate on Tripp and Maureen. Um, really? You’re going to the guy that’s in love with you? I guess he really will sacrifice anything for her, including his pride.
S says she’s just waiting for Tripp to get back from seeing grandfather.
Nate reveals that grandfather is in Bermuda! Serena is understandably shocked.
Nassau County! Nate is going to Nassau County! That’s where I live! =D
Dan goes to Willa’s room, ready to go on the trip.
She says she sent Vanessa and Paul on their way. She wants to show him something.
So…she shows him a video of a naked “performance piece.”
Lily comes to see Chuck and asks him to come to the cemetary.
He says he has business to do.
She says Bart was a person who liked to be alone but they aren’t like that. They need people and he needs her now to come with her and honor him.
He says to work is to honor him.
They are interrupted when Serena calls.
She apologizes for leaving with Tripp and not taking her advice. She says Maureen has the letter and Lily obviously understands the ramifications.
She says she knows Tripp is lying to him and can’t trust him.
Lily tells her to come home and she will tell Rufus and truth and Serena will be safer.
Serena is leaving as Tripp comes back. She calls him out on lying.
He says he wants to be with her more than anything and can explain.
She says she’ll get in the car but no talking allowed.
And now we have the car crash in pieces, intercut with Nate and Chuck in their respective vehicles.
Chuck ignores Blair’s call.
Tripp comes to first in the car and is shocked to see Serena with her head bloody and on the dashboard. Light echoes of Ryan and Marissa.
He calls Maureen and says he needs help.
Cops and medics are attending to the accident when Nate pulls up.
He runs out and sees Serena being wheeled into an ambulance.
She groggily asks for Tripp…who isn’t there!
Nate is clearly disgusted.
He calls Tripp and leaves a message saying to meet him at the hospital or he’s telling the cops he was driving.
Rufus is making comfort food for Lily.
She says, since the kids aren’t home, there’s something she needs to tell him.
Rufus says it sounds serious and she says it is.
Lily’s phone rings and she says it’s 516 and might be Serena.
516 is my area code!
Dan is making out with Willa when he stops and says he can’t do this.
He gets a call and then knocks on Blair’s door, telling her Serena was in a car accident. She’s obviously upset.
Vanessa asks what’s going on and Dan says to just come with him.
Blair calls Chuck who, likewise, is upset and says he’s coming.
Tripp shows up at the hospital and Nate blasts him for leaving Serena and even moving her to make it look like she was driving.
Tripp is eager to see Serena but Nate says what he did is unforgivable.
Maureen comes up and says that Nate telling the truth won’t help since Serena has her own history of drinking, drugs and many men.
She turns to leave and Tripp is supposed to follow but he says he wants to see Serena.
And, finally, Nate decks him!
Q10: Spotted: the fall of a politician and the rise of a hero.–Gossip Girl
Lily is by Serena’s bedside. Serena says she had to learn the hard way and Lily says “like mother, like daughter.”
Serena concludes that Lily didn’t tell Rufus the truth. Lily makes up excuses and Serena says she just needs to rest.
Blair comes in. She’s in a robe and a jacket.
Q11: “Nice outfit.” “You too.”–Serena and Blair
It’s touching how upset Blair is.
Serena tells Blair she was right about Tripp.
Chuck is walking down the hall when it flashes back to last year. Serena is walking down the hall and tells Chuck to go into see his dad.
He does, and Lily is standing with Bart and the doctor. Lily says there’s nothing more they can do.
Chuck turns and leaves.
In the present day, Chuck crawls to the floor in the hospital, breathing deeply.
Blair comes over and Chuck asks how Serena is and if everyone is there.
Blair says Serena is fine and everyone here.
Q12: “My father always thought I was weak. And I was. I couldn’t be here when…I left right away. I’ve been pushing myself to prove him wrong and I’ve been pushing you away.” “I don’t think you ran away because you couldn’t handle death. I think because you couldn’t handle feelings. But you’re not like that anymore. You carry people and you carry me. You’re becoming a man in a way your father never was. Come. Let’s say goodbye.”–Chuck and Blair
Incredibly moving. Excellent work by Ed Westwick.
As Chuck passes by a hospital room, has a vision of a sheet being put over Bart’s dead body.
He thanks Blair and kisses her.
Jenny and Eric reconcile at the hospital, calling a truce.
But it can’t last if Jenny dosen’t change her ways.
Rufus is about to leave the penthouse when Maureen comes in.
She says she’s been having marriage problems and doesn’t want to see someone suffer the way she has.
Q13: Somehow this ended up in my pocket at Thanksgiving. Just read it.–Maureen
She gives him the letter and leaves.
Dan and Vanessa are at the hospital.
She’s wondering what could’ve happened with the car accident was different and the injuries were more serious.
Q14: Vanessa, I love you.–Dan
Vanessa doesn’t get the seriousness of it and thinks he saying it a family-friendly way but his look then says it all!
She talks it up to people making big declarations after something serious happens and says she’s going to go see Serena.
He’s clearly bummed.
Also surprised he’s not more concerned about Serena given their past.
Lily comes home and spots the letter sitting out and Rufus MIA.
Rufus is with the woman from the condo association meeting.
Serena turns over in her bed to see Nate sleeping in the chair besides it.
Q15: Only sleeping beauty finds her prince.–Gossip Girl
Jenny sneaks out and meets up with Damian. They are going to do more drug dealing.
Q16: Queen Bee likes a thrill, eh?–Damian
Q17: “It’s not easy being Queen or cheap.” “Well, stick with me, Jenny Humphrey, and you’ll have enough cash to underwrite your entire kingdom.”–Jenny and Damian
Chuck steps out of the car at the cometary and sees someone at his dad’s grave, with yellow roses just like he has.
He assumes it’s Lily.
The woman turns and says “Charles.”
Then she’s gone!
Left behind is a locket with an E on it and Bart’s picture.
Fade to black.
Now that’s a good ending for a great episode and a long break!
Preview: Blair pretends to be having sex with Chuck to avoid Serena coming in but she comes in anyway, Blair and Chuck kiss, Jenny and Damian kiss, Lily asks what’s going on, Blair says she loves surprises, Chuck says he has to know, Blair holds the locket, Nate says we’ve waited a long time for this.

EPISODE 7.11: You Know I Love You, Don’t You

Previously on: Nathan fires Clay, Haley insinuates to Quinn that Clay screwed up because he was too busy focusing on her, Quinn packs her bags, Julian tells Skills about the sports coordinator job with SportsArc in Los Angeles, Rachel wants to do Dan’s from the hallway where he killed Keith and Jimmy killed himself (flashbacks!), Julian tells Alex their script isn’t going anywhere, Millicent does cocaine, Millie is pulled over by the cops and calls Brooke who won’t bail her out, Brooke finds out she isn’t pregnant and she tells Julian she can’t have kids

Note: My DVR stopped recording for six minutes early in the episode. You guys will have to tell me what I missed!
Someone is getting dressed in a suit.
It’s Clay. He looks sad.
Quinn tells him he looks good for someone who was fired.
He says (clearly taking Dan’s advice from the last episode) that he agents should wear a suit.
Quinn asks which clients he still has and he says none.
There’s still one kid in Arkansas that, the agency doesn’t know about, that Clay is working with.
Clay says, in 4 years, the kid will be the best quarterback in the NFL.
Man, you know this isn’t the old One Tree Hill when the opener stars with Clay and Quinn. Sigh.
Quinn tells him she’s proud of him and he says that means a lot.
Q1: It means everything, actually.–Clay
Nathan tells Haley the agency says they have an offer for him and they’re coming over.
They are quite excited, even though they don’t know where it’s for.
Julian says he’s going to time off from “doing nothing” to spend time with Brooke.
Her straight hair looks fab!
She says she can’t–she has to go to talk to Millicent.
She says she’s so “pissed” at her but Julian points out that she’s going over there (where? isn’t she in jail? how much time has passed?) to make sure she’s okay.
I wonder if it’s too late?
Julian then says he doesn’t need kids to be happy.
Q2: I just need you, Brooke Davis.–Julian
For once, Brooke didn’t get teary-eyed!
Q3: What did I do to deserve you?–Brooke
Skills is telling Lauren and Mouth he needs to make a “sizzle reel” (or a highlight reel) to show he’s qualified for the job in L.A.
Jamie says he loves the movie White man Can’t Jump, as he watches it.
He looks so much older! I wonder why.
Skills gets an idea and asks him what he and Chuck are doing today.
Someone knocks at the door. Brooke is looking for Millicent.
Mouth says she didn’t come home.
She’s surprised he doesn’t know. She explains Millie was arrested for drunk driving last night. (Okay, so this is the next day.)
Mouth takes off.
Brooke doesn’t seem upset.
Victoria bailed Millicent out. They’re leaving now.
Millie is grateful and apologetic but Victoria says she was just “protecting our investment.”
Q4: Zero may not be a size but it’s clearly your IQ.–Victoria
Victoria tells her to go home and get clean and not to come around until she can be professional.
Millie nods and takes off. I can’t trust, though, if she’s taken it to heart. How will we know when the real Millie is back?
Nathan and Haley are listening to a presentation from the agency.
They explain nearly every team is either full or either money.
So they suggest he play in Spain! Rego, Barcelona to be exact.
Wasn’t this a rumor (or maybe a foiler?) last year? Or did they actually mention it? I can’t remember.
They explain that this is a better situation than a lower-level spot in the NBA somewhere.
Haley points out that Nathan wants to be in the NBA.
The agents say he will–after he works on his game and makes money in Barcelona.
He looks apphrehensive, contemplative at best.
We’re in the studio and now my DVR cut off, 9 minutes into the episode.
My DVR resumes now 15 minutes into the episode.
Haley tells Nathan she’s supposed to leave next week to tour in support of her new album.
Now Nathan looks frustrated, perplexed at best.
Gossip Girl promo
Clay is in Arkansas, apparently, with the kid mentioned earlier.
Clay is admiring an autographed football where the kid excelled in the game.
He’s promising he’ll do his best as his agent.
The kid, named Trey, says they heard he was fired.
Dan is in the hallway filming a promo for the episode.
He says he does a show about forgiveness and asks if he can be forgiven, adding the cliche adage “the truth will set you free.”
Why the hell would Tree Hill High give permission for them to do this?! I can’t imagine any justification.
Rachel tells Dan he needs to go bigger and he worries it’s already too big.
Rachel says it’s “genius” and will take them to a “whole other level.”
Millie is rifling through Alex’s closet.
Alex walks in and asks her if she’s OK after last night.
Millie just says she’s “fine” and “it is what it is.”
She asks where her Seven jeans are and Alex realizes she’s looking for drugs to do and calls her out on it.
Millie freaks out as Alex flushes it down the toilet.
Alex tells Millicent that she’s been in her position before, knows what she’s going through and she needs to stop with the drugs.
Q5: I thought you were my friend. How dare you!–Millie
How dare she what? Try to save you from effing up your life?
Millie tells Alex that she isn’t better than her.
Q6: You’re just a washed-up actress to dumb to realize you’re chasing after a boy that isn’t into her. And if you had half a brain, you’d understand that. Julian doesn’t want you in his life. And neither do I.–Millie
Uht oh! She brought up Alex’s kryptonite!
Kind sounds like something Brooke would say. Or Victoria. Does this mean Millie’s learned well? I think not.
She leaves Alex dumbfounded. (No pun intended.)
Haley comes to see Quinn. Where is she? It doesn’t look like Clay’s house. A motel?
Quinn says she thought they were in a fight but Haley says she “needed her big sister.”
Hmm. So now Haley wants her so she can unload her problems? When the day before she was POed at Quinn for not understanding her problems? Where is this going?
Clay is still with Trey, who talks about the pressure he’s under to make money for his family. He explains they have “one shot at this” and Clay is “an agent without an agency” and “this is my whole life.”
He asks Clay what he would do if it were him.
Clay avoids the answer and asks who the agency plans on pairing him with. Trey says the dude’s name and Clay suggests someone else. He wishes Trey good luck and says he’ll see him around.
I guess we can call that bowing out gracefully?
Alex walks into Clothes Over Bros where Brooke is dressing a mannequin.
Q7: If you’re looking for your partner in crime, you might want to try Central Booking.–Brooke
Speaking of, what happened with Mouth going to find her? And what happened to Brooke caring?
Alex says that’s not why she’s here. She says she knows what she’s going through because her sister went through it, too.
I thought she meant being a friend to someone on drugs but when she places pamphlets about fertility problems on the counter, it’s clear she means something else.
Brooke is shocked that Julian told her.
I can’t believe he would actually do that. And when could he have done it? But how else could she know?
Alex says, yes, Julian told her because they talk about “everything” and she shouldn’t “hate on him for that.” Her smirk either belies a scheme or genuine sweetness. I can’t tell yet.
She says the “important thing is we get you some help.” Brooke is thrown off by the “we.” And by “we” she did mean herself and Julian.
Brooke then says the real reason their script didn’t work out, per Julian, is because her dad said it’s “unmakeable” with Alex attached to do it.
Is this true, too? When did Julian tell her that? I wouldn’t put it past Brooke making it up on the fly. Old Brooke would definitely do that.
Alex is surprised and said it isn’t true but Brooke says it is and she should ask Julian “the next time you talk about everything.” Then she tells Alex is get out of the store.
Life UneXpected promo! LUX stars Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek).
Clay is driving in a swank car when he comes to a sign that points one way to Tree Hill and another way to Atlanta. Did he really drive to Arkansas? Impossible. Maybe I missed something?
Clay contemplates which direction to go in and eventually turns in the Atlanta direction.
Kind of cool seeing a sign like that with Tree Hill on it.
Now he’s at Sara’s grave, where the headstone simply reads “Sara Kay Evans.”
He’s teary and says he really needs her now.
Another ghostly vision coming up?
He asks for her to talk to him and nothing happens.
Dan shows up at Nathan’s. Nate assumes he’s here for Jamie but he’s not.
Dan says he wants Nathan to hear it from him that he’s doing a show “about the day we lost Keith.”
Q8: You mean the day you killed Keith. If you’re gonna ask for forgiveness, get it right, Dan.–Nathan
You tell him, Nate!
Dan tells him to keep an open mind and check out the show.
Nathan says all it is is Dan taking people’s money.
Dan again tells Nathan to give it a chance.
Q9: You don’t think after all these years I didn’t want to believe you were a better father than the man standing in front of me? I’ve given you a million chances.–Nathan
Nate says he would rethink their relationship if he did even just one thing to show he cared about anyone but himself. (I guess exposing Renee doesn’t count?)
Q10: So forgive me, but I’m all out of chances.–Nathan
Dan closes the door on him and we cut to a rap song playing as Jamie and Chuck walking on to the basketball court in slow-mo. Really bad transition from something to serious and emotional and absolutely needed to…this.
Skills is filming them play against Junk and Fergie. Jamie and Chuck are full of attitude and swanky moves.
Actually it’s Mouth filming them. Um, what?! We last saw him going to find Millie. What happened? Major continuity error!
Haley is sitting in her car with Quinn, watching them, but talking about her problems.
If she goes with Nathan’s plan, she screws Peyton and Red Bedroom Records (Peyton mention! Um, Haley, why not call her and discuss it?!). If she goes with her plan, Jamie has to live and be schooled on a tour bus.
How about you just be normal parents and put your son ahead of your own dreams? Mmkay.
LOL Quinn says Spain has good margeritas and Haley points out that that’s Mexico. YEAH IT IS! (That’s where I just was this past week!)
Haley says she wants Jamie and Nathan to be happy but she doesn’t want to let Peyton down.
You know who would be a good person to talk to about this? LUCAS!
And is she really worried about Peyton or passing up her own dream? I can’t tell. I don’t feel like I know this Haley anymore. (Maybe it’s the awful messy red hair. I kid. Sort of.)
Quinn says she loves this about Haley–this being, Haley always worrying about other people. Quinn tells her to focus on what she wants.
Yes, that’s what your early 20s are for. But you chose to get married and have a kid during that time. That kid needs to be your priority. Sorry.
Millie is with Mackenzie asking for coke. Mackenzie gives it to her but then says this, combined with past drugs given, means Millie owes her $600.
She starts to panic, saying she doesn’t have it right now. Right now or at all, Millicent?
Mackenzie takes the drugs back but then says if Millicent can get her the red Clothes Over Bros dress she likes, they’ll be even.
Millicent explains that the dress is from the not-yet-released clothing line and there’s no way she can get that from Brooke. Guess she now realizes she was wrong when took an unreleased dress (the same one?) too?
Q11: Well then I think the weather report from Millieville is going to be cloudy with very little chance of snow.–Mackenzie.
How clever.
Quinn says Haley’s not selfish for wanting to go on tour and not a bad person if she gives up Red Bedroom Records. I agree with the latter, not the former.
Haley asks for help in making the decision.
Quinn points out that she always came to Haley to make the right decisions and she knows she will here, too. Whatever she chooses will be the right decision.
Q12: You’re kind of bad-ass like that.–Quinn
Hm, how does that help, Quinn?
Haley then apologizes “for being tough on you lately.” She says it comes from her need to fix things.
I guess she’s apologizing for the David pressure but not quite for yesterday. An apology is needed for yesterday. From Quinn, too.
Back to the stupid Jamie basketball thing. I usually like his stuff but this is bothering me. I have no patience forit this time around.
LOL to Jamie dunking
Brooke comes home. Now she’s teary-eyed.
Julian asks what’s wrong and she comes right out and calls him on telling Alex she couldn’t have kids.
Julian admits to it! He apologizes, saying it just slipped. He seems pretty remorseful as he’s quickly realizing it was a major mistake.
Brooke says the worst part is that he told Alex he wants kids after telling Brooke he didn’t want them. I think he actually said he didn’t need them to be happy but I guess that’s just semantics at this point. She’s upset that “you told her the truth and you lied to me.” She slams the door on him.
Skills and co. are watching the video on a laptop in the apartment. Everyone is happy for him.
Jamie tells him he’ll do a great job with the, um, job.
Skills says he’ll miss him when he moves.
Jamie is surprised and instantly saddened. He didn’t know the job meant Skills leaving.
Aw. Jamie is going to have Peyton’s “people always leave” complex!
Skills said he thought Jamie knew and it’s all happened so fast. Um, wait. Did he even *get* the job yet? Isn’t he still just pursuing it?
Jamie runs off. Skills is clearly sad now, too.
Haley comes home and tells Nathan she’s not going on tour.

Nathan doesn’t reply. He just smiles and says he has something to show her.
He has a map laid out with thumbtacks and post-its. He explains that this is the “adventure” she and Jamie will have on tour…while he’s in Spain.
He’s come up with things for them to do together in all of her tour stops. Aw.
A rib joint in Chicago, eh? Can’t say I ever went to one when I lived there.
This is sweet, Nate. But it doesn’t make up for the family being apart and Jamie’s life being disrupted.
He says when the tour is finished, they can join him in Spain.
Haley says they should be together and the family has already been through a lot. Um, yes!
Nathan brings up the anniversary we saw last season (I think it was last season) where she told him she wished she could go on tour again and he wants her to have that wish come true and everything will be fine.

Victoria finds Brooke in CoB’s back room obviously crying and looking at something (the pamphlets).
Victoria is alarmed, even though Brooke says it’s nothing.
Victoria then sees the pamphlets and Brooke cries out that she can’t have kids.
Victoria is clearly shocked and hugs her, saying they’ll go to more doctors.
Brooke says she’s been to doctors and “if anything could be done, I’d be doing it.”
Hmmm. Is there ever really zero chance?
Victoria says she can still have a family by adopting. Actually, she says, “We’ll adopt.” There’s that “we” again. You people have messed-up senses of what’s your life and what’s someone else’s!
Brooke says it’s not the same and Victoria, almost insultedly, says it is. UHT OH! I’m calling it now: Brooke was adopted! (Damn, seriously. Where is Peyton when you need her?!)
Victoria asks how Julian reacted and she says he told Alex he wants kids.
To which Victoria replies that maybe he’s not the one for Brooke. To which Brooke replies…

I like to think your one and his one (for all couples) go hand-in-hand but I guess that isn’t necessarily always the case.
Victoria just hugs her.
Skills is apologizing to Jamie for upsetting him and says they’ll still get to see each other.

Oh. Em. Gee. That was just perfect and heartbreaking! Man, what is with all the Lucas and Peyton overtures in this episode? Are they finally realizing people want them mentioned more?
Skills says Jamie is too young to understand that, as an adult, you have to do things you don’t like.
But, um, Skills, you do like the job and you do want to move. I guess he’s talking more about Jamie? (Or about going to jail in real life? I kid. I kid. For reals this time.)
Q17: And even though he’s gone, your Uncle Lucas loves you very, very much.–Skills
Aw! But wait–he was talking about Lucas? Wasn’t Lucas leaving town his choice? (Whether it was CMM’s choice remains up for debate. Though this echoes one of the rumors…)
Skills says he loves Jamie, too, and won’t forget about him. He also invites Jamie to stay with him in Cali when he’s older.
Better check with Naley, Skills. Who knows where they’ll be living–and if they’ll even be living together–at the point?!

Cut to Quinn shocked to see Clay packing up. He’s leaving, he says.
Clay says he realizes he has “no business” guiding someone’s career right now.
Quinn accuses him of running away and then breaks out Clay’s own kryptonite.

My guess is no given these circumstances but also given these circumstancecs, I could see her agreeing it’s best to move on. Guess we’ll never know?

Quinn was about to say she only stayed in town for him but he turns his back and she walks out. And now she’s the one teary.
I feel sad for Clay. His life must feel so empty. Loss and failure does that to you.
Dan is standing in the hallway, where the production crew is still set up.
Someone calls him from behind.
OH MY GOD! It’s Jimmy’s mom! I can’t believe they brought her back! This could be enough to save the episode for me.
Dan assumes she wants an autograph. Jesus.
She SLAPS him for not knowing who she is. It’s about time someone did that again!
Q21: How dare you profit on the death of my Jimmy! You let everyone believe he was a murderer…You have the nerve to talk about forgiveness. I just came here today to tell you you won’t ever find forgiveness with me. Never.–Mrs. Edwards
But does Dan care about that? Doesn’t he just want forgiveness from Nathan?
She leaves and Rachel makes a snide comment about not getting that on film. Dan is just completely shocked.
Millie is looking at the red Mackenzie wants when Victoria comes in.
Victoria is happy to see her, assuming she’s better.
Millicent apologizes for last night.
Victoria explains that the company–and Brooke–is counting on her now and she bever not mess it up.
Will the pressure snap Millie back into who she used to be or snap her into disaster?
Julian comes over to Alex’s and blasts her for what happened with Brooke, saying he never should’ve trusted her.
Alex says she was trying to help and Julian says her helping led to him and Brooke not talking.
But she says that’s not necessarily a bad thing and Julian, who is apparently a bit daft, doesn’t get what she’s insinutating.
So she spells it out for him.
Q22: I can give you everything you want and Brooke can’t.–Alex
Julian says he thought they were over this already and it was behind them.
She says it’s not because she loves him and…
Q23: I know deep inside you love me, too.–Alex
Is she nuts?! I don’t think there’s anyway Julian loves her. I think over time it could develop but he’s done nothing but push her away, never giving an inkling of intrigue or possibility.
Q24: Let’s make this clear! I. Don’t. Love. You. I don’t even like you! This is goodbye!–Julian
Harsh. Kind of necessary, though. She’s hysterical.
Julian then says he lied when she said he was talented.
Q25: “Brooke told me about the movie. The real reason it didn’t sell. So it’s true then. Nobody wants me.” “Yes.”–Alex and Julian
Yes to the former, the latter or both? I’m going to go with the latter because, again, I don’t put it past Brooke making something like that up.
He storms out, she’s still hysterical.

Mouth comes home to his apartment to find Millicent there. He says he’s been looking all over for her. Not true, Mouth. Not true.
Millie doesn’t care at all that he seems to be concerned and tries to leave.
He stops her, saying she has a problem and needs “real help.”

She leaves. I think she understands you, Mouth.
Julian comes home to find Brooke drinking alone.
He asks her if she’s okay. She says she’s not–and even worse is that *they* aren’t okay.
She tells him he should’ve never stayed in town. She’s been making him give things up–including Alex–and she doesn’t want to do that anymore.
Julian again says she doesn’t care about having kids.
Brooke calls him out on that not being true and says he does want it and he should have it.
Q28: I don’t want to be the girl that keeps denying things from you.–Brooke
She tells him to take another movie…AKA, leave.
He asks her what about them, what is she really saying?
She says they need time apart. Hmph.
She walks away. He looks crushed.
Clay is still packing up. He puts a picture of him and Nathan into a box and then takes it out, as if he’s going to leave it behind.
His assistant is cleaning out his office and puts a picture of him and Sara in a box.
Quinn shows up saying she needs her help. I wonder what she has planned?
Nathan calls Haley and asks her what she’s wearing right now, even though he’s in the next room. Sorry, Nate. Lucas did it better.
He says he was just getting a head-start on the long-distance communication.
Haley asks Nathan to tell her leaving Tree Hill will be okay. He says it will be fine.
She then asks him to tell her that Jamie will understand. He says it will be fine.
Jamie? Understand? He’s not even 10 years old!
Oops. Jamie was sitting on the stairwell, out of sight, listening to the whole thing.
Dan tells Rachel he doesn’t want to do the show–he’s “done.”
Rachel thinks he’s kidding.
He pulls out of a check and gives it to her. It says it’s enough for her to make a new start. He points out that she has her whole life ahead of her.
Rachel says they’re just getting started and he has no idea how big they can go.
Dan, still thinking it’s all about money, asks her much money it will take her to let it go.
She accuses him of trying to get rid of her. He says he just wants to stop what they’re doing now and live a normal life.
Q29: “We can grow old together.” “You’re already old.”–Dan and Rachel
She said it was such a smile that it was hard not to LOL.
He says what they have now is enough and she says it will never be half.
Then she points out that, since they’re married, she’s entitled to half of everything–in which case, his check falls far short. She rips it up.
Then she points out that when the “clock stops running” (his heart, she means), she’ll get everything. The implication being, I guess, that she’s not going anywhere.
He looks less than pleased.
Skills tells Mouth that he officially sent in his reel.
Mouth tells him he deserves to get the job. (See, I knew it wasn’t a done deal yet. How about you freak Jamie out after you know for sure?)
Skills thanks him for his help and asks how things went with Millie.
Mouth says it went really bad and he doesn’t think it’ll be fixed.
Q30: So promise me, then, that if I get this job in L.A., you’ll come with me.–Skills
Mouth agrees. Aw. That was nice.
Millie is in CoB. She puts the dress into her purse and leaves.
Victoria is watching from her car across the stress.
Alex, her face quite pale and tears slowly falling, calls Julian. He sees it’s her and hits ignore. He’s drinking alone at Tric.
Q31: I’m just calling to tell you how sorry I am for all the trouble I’ve caused you. But you don’t have to worry because from now on I won’t be around to cause you anymore pain. And in spite of everything you said to me, I will always love you. Goodbye.–Alex
She drops the phone into the water. Aerial shot shows she’s in the bathtub, clad in a bra underwear, blood gushing from her wrists.
Fade to black.

EPISODE 3.11: The Treasure of Serena Madre

Rufus is planning Thankgiving dinner.
Eric says they don’t have any traditions.
Lily says Serena said she can’t come tomorrow (Thanksgiving).

That was kinda funny. The season 1 Thanksgiving episode is classic.
Serena’s excuse that she has to work for Tripp. Define work, Serena!
They say Scott’s with his parents. Well, who would he be with?
Lily says her family isn’t well-enough to travel.
She says they’ll bring in dinner and leaves.
Rufus is obviously a bit disappointed and Eric suggests they show her what a real meal can be like.
They will video conference in with CeCe. LOL
Jenny tells Eric to invite Jonathan and he reveals they broke up.
Jenny’s shocked and wants to know whappened but he doesn’t want to talk about it and walks off.
Jenny texts Jonathan, asking for a “Thanksgiving truce” and insinuating that Eric wants to see him.
Kind of sweet of her. But does Eric really want to see him?
Serena walks into to Tripp’s home office and loudly calls him Congressman and says she has the paperwork he needed.
They get closer to each other and she asks if he spoke to Maureen.
He says he did and she agreed to a divorce but the public won’t get the real reason why.
Serena asks if she’s the real reason but Tripp points out that Maureen’s a fraud and tried to make him one, too. Even if Serena was out of the picture, he’d still be leaving her. Glad to see he still has some morals.
But then he ruins and says he hopes she won’t leave.
She says she has to leave–as long as she’s married, they can’t do this.
He asks if that can start after tomorrow. He doesn’t want to spend Thanksgiving alone.
She says she expected that, which is why she already told her mom she had to work with him.
Convenient, S. You can never stick to your guns. That’s one spot where she and Blair really differ.
Serena says it only means pay-per-view movies and room service at her hotel. Sounds like porn and sex to me!
She teases him with a kiss, says she’ll be good and leaves.
Chuck tells Blair she hasn’t mentioned Serena in a while and she say she’s has a more “deceptive” adversary to deal with…her mom.
Eleanor is apparently coming to town just to fly with Blair back to Paris. Blair assumes there’s some big news and she’s not happy.
Chuck says she’s paranoid but she says she’s going on precedence.
They made a weak Rihanna joke. Too soon.
Serena gets out of a cab right where they are.
She tells Chuck she can’t get a hold of Nate.
Blair makes a snide remark about one Vanderbilt not being enough.
Serena replies that she’s not having an affair with Tripp (ahem, S!) but he is leaving his wife.
Q1: So what are you exactly? An 18-year-old blonde coincidence? Call me in six months when he meets his next coincidence.–Blair
She adds that she doubts he’ll actually leave his wife.
She walks off and Chuck just kinds of bows his head and follows. Weak, Chuck!
Nate is on the phone with Dan, saying “told you so” on the threesomes-end-badly idea.
Dan says how Olivia thinks he has feelings for Vanessa.
Is he really telling this to V’s ex?
Nate asks if he does and Dan says he doesn’t know but explains the look that Olivia told him about.

I think Nate has forgotten he’s V’s ex, too.
Nate brushes the feelings idea off, making Dan feel better.
Dan asks what he’s doing for Thanksgiving and Nate says he won’t be around.
He then vaguely reveals that he’s also been having some mixed feelings for someone else (coincidentally, Dan’s ex) but he’s going to see his grandfather in hopes of patching things up.
Then Serena walks in!
She asks to go for a walk.
I wonder if she’s going to apologize for ditching him? If she knows deep down she has feelings for him, too?
Vanessa shows up to Dan’s with her bags, saying she had a fight with her mom and isn’t allowed to stay in the dorm so she needs to crash there.
Q3: “What with the face?” “This is my surprised happy face.”–Vanessa and Dan
Rufus and Eric are videochatting with CeCe.
CeCe reveals that she’s fine and Lily said they weren’t doing anything for Thanksgiving.
Hmmm. Lily, was CeCe ever really sick at all?
Rufus covers saying they aren’t doing anything major.
But CeCe says she wants to come anyway and surprise Lily.
Blair comes home and is annoyed when Dorota doesn’t say hi.
Q4: I’m not talking with Vanya and now he not stop calling and texting and tweeting and writing on wall.–Dorota
LOL I love Dorota’s tweets!
Blair finds a package from Eleanor’s estate attorney and assumes the secret her mom has is that she’s changing her will.
Cue Eleanor’s entrance.
She gives her mom the package and says they should open it now but Eleanor wants tea first.
Nate and Serena are on a park bench.
He reminds her that she left him in a bar and then says he found out through the “Vanderbilt grapevine” that Tripp is getting divorced.
I guess Trpp isn’t confiding in Nate anymore, after realizing he’s the competition.
Serena admits that she and Tripp kissed but it was a mistake that won’t be repeated.
Nate says fine but I don’t think he believes. I do think he loves her, though. He has that face. LOL
Cue Tripp calling. Serena answers saying she needs to call him back but he says he needs to cancel their plans.
Apparently Maureen is a mess and wants to have Thanksgiving together.
Serena abrupt hangs up, clearly disappointed.
But then she goes to plan B, Nate, and asks if he has plans for Turkey day.
He says he doesn’t so she invites him to dinner at Lily’s. And there’s that look again!
Lily runs into Maureen on the street. They’re wearing the same coat. LOL
Maureen hides the fact that things aren’t well with her and Tripp.
Lily asks about Tripp working Serena so hard on Thanksgiving, which Maureen clearly knows nothing about but plays it off well.
Lily asks Maureen to come and convince Tripp to bring Serena home for at least part of the meal.

Vanessa tells Dan about her fight with her mom. She says she hasn’t had anyone to vent to since Olivia left.
Dan says he hasn’t spoken to her since he left.
Vanessa says “everything happens for a reason” and then calls him out on making another face! LOL
She asks him what’s going on but then someone knocks at the door.

In walks Vanessa’s mom.
Q7: I won’t hate you because you’ll be dead.–Vanessa
Gabrielle (I think that’s her name?) says Dan was just trying to help. And she wants to make things up to her so they are going to have dinner with Rufus, Dan and co!
Dan is clearly shocked. Soooo not what he had in mind–which was obviously getting space between him and V. (Though he can’t hide forever. So maybe he just wanted time to think?)
Where’s the rest of Vanessa’s family? Dad? Sister? At least explain!
Vanessa says she’ll give her mom another chance but if it doesn’t work, consider her moved in. Dan looks thrilled.
Tripp and Serena slyly and non-chalantly get into an elevator together.
He calls her out on not returning his calls and jokes that he’s stalking her.
Then he says their “relationship” (ugh) will get more complicated now that they’re spending Thanksgiving together. S had no idea.
Serena says it’ll be weird and Tripp says it doesn’t have to be and at least they’ll get to spend time together.
He says all he cares about is spending time with her once last time.
She asks why this has to be so hard. (double ugh)
He asks if she wants him to come inside now and she says he does…which is why he can’t.
Instead, she pulls the stop button the elevator and they make out.
Eleanor is laughing on the phone with Cyrus.
Blair goes to get the package when Eleanor gets off the phone.
Dorota walks in and says she’s working for Lily tomorrow since they’ll be out of town.
Blair tells her mother they should join Lily (and Serena), too.
Eleanor agrees to at least call and ask.
Blair tries to get the package as she does but then Eleanor takes it away.
B then notices Dorota clutching a bag, which she says is Eleanor and is private.
Q8: You know what isn’t? The INS tip line.–Blair
She’s being so (extra) mean to Dorota this episode. I don’t like it. Not that I like Blair at all this season, anyway.
Blair snatches the bag, looks in and finds a pregnancy test. She concludes that’s why the will is beign changed.
Chuck goes to see Nate and tells him that the elevator cameras in his hotel caught a couple making out…Serena and Tripp!
Chuck says Tripp is going to bolt in 6 months, just as Blair said.
Q9: C’mon. How often does the other woman get a happily ever after?–Chuck
More often than not, I think. Well, no. It depends, I guess.
Nate is clearly concerned for Serena and says someone needs to get through to her.
Chuck walks away and Nate calls security.
Everyone is setting up for dinner at Lily’s when CeCe walks in. She’s shocked and fakes being thrilled.
Vanessa and Gabrielle arrive, Dan in tow.
Dan tells CeCe she’s looking well and CeCe says she is and whispers to Lily that they have a lot to talk about…”as do you and Rufus”!
Blair tries to get Eleanor to admit she’s pregnant by flaunting alcohol and salmon. Eleanor blushes both off.
Maureen and Tripp arrive and exchange peasantries with Serena.
S’s dress is QUITE low-cut for a holiday dinner. They’re really playing up this mistress idea, eh?
All 3 compliment each other, pretending not to know the truth.
Maureen walks off to say hi to Nate.
Tripp tells S the hardest part is over (um, how?) and they’ll get through this (um, I doubt it).
Blair comes in and immediately makes a snide remark to Tripp and Serena.

Maureen says hi to Nate. Why is Nate receptive? He knows what she did!
She point-blanks asks if Tripp is having an affair. She says she wants the truth…and just wants her husband back.
Nate’s silence gives it away.
Maureen looks hurt.
Nate apologizes and says he has a way to “end it quickly and quietly.”
He shows her a flashdrive and asks if she wants to see what’s on it. She says she does it, if it’ll end things.
I guess it’s the elevator’s security tape.
I don’t see how this’ll bring Nate and Serena together. I guess he just wants revenge now?
Jenny pulls Blair aside, asking what happened with Eric at cotillion.
She explains Jonathan texted her back, saying he’s surprised J and Eric are still even friends.
Blair reveals that Eric sabotaged her, by having her escort given away leaving her stranded in front of everyone.
Q12: By the way, how do you feel having a sibling? Someone who’s sole purpose on earth is to compete for your parents’ love and attention?–Blair
And now we have the remix of Imogen Heap’s “Whatcha Say.” Not seeing the big deal that others did. The only comparison I can make so far is that it came after a discussion about sibling rivarly, which is partly what it had to do with on The O.C.
CeCe tells Rufus she’s glad they’re sitting together. Lily looks uncomfortable.
Gabrielle asks CeCe to tell her about Rufus and Lily’s wedding.
CeCe says she wasn’t invited because Rufus didn’t think she belonged. Hm. I don’t remember this.
Vanessa tries to get her mom to stay out of it.
CeCe makes a snide remark about it being Lily’s 5th wedding.
Rufus explains that Lily said she was still too sick to travel.
CeCe says she was better by then but then covers and says she’s getting her dates mixed up. Rufus isn’t buying it.
Maybe the use of this version of “Whatcha Say” is more about the non-original lyrics, like “when the roof caved in and the truth came out, I just didn’t know what to do.” That’s quite fitting.

Vanessa complains to Dan about her mom and then accuses him of defending her and being weird all day. Then she says he’s making a weird face again and asks what’s going on.
Vanessa asks Jenny if she’s ever known someone to all of a sudden do this.
Jenny says to ask Eric, because he’s been doing it, too.
She calls Eric out on sabotaging her.

Blair is disturbed to see her mom is drinking water. She then calls her mom out on being pregnant.
Rufus makes a toast, while Lily is MIA. He thanks everyone for coming to their first Thanksgiving as a family but says he wants to make a joke while she’s gone since Lily forbidded it.
Serena and Tripp are conveniently sitting next to each other, laughing, with Maureen across from them.
Now it’s her turn to call someone–two someones–out.
She starts by saying they have no deceny.
Nate tries to stop her but she continues by saying that she and Tripp are going to D.C., whether Serena likes it or not–or she’ll go public.
She puts her phone on the table, showing the video of Serena and Tripp in the elevator.
Chuck asks where she got that.
Q13: He’ll be a political joke. And you’ll be a punchline. Your affair ends now.–Maureen
And of course this is said as Lily walks right behind Serena.
Lily is shocked and demands to speak to Serena.
The table falls silent and Rufus says they should just eat.
Jenny says she her appetite and gets up.
Blair says she wants pie, which we know is her emotional weakness.
Gabrielle tries to lighten things by saying “kids” and Vanessa says “what makes you the expert?” before walking away.
CeCe thanks Rufus for inviting her.
Lily asks Serena if she’s having an affair with a married man. She says she isn’t.
Lily points out she saw the video of them kissing.
She said they kissed only after he decided to leave his wife. Hmm.
Lily reminds her that she knows what it feels like to be the wife left behind.
Serena says this is different because Tripp actually cares about her.
Lily points out that Maureen thought the same thing. She tells Serena to “walk away.”

Wow! I imagine Lily still harbors a lot of pain from what happened with Serena’s dad?
Jenny asks Eric why he’s been pretending to be friends when he really hated her.
Q15: You lost any rights to honesty when you chose being queen over our friendship.–Eric
Jenny said that’s not what happened.
Eric says he always defended her and that’s what drove Jonathan away. He figured if, just once, he could beat Jenny and make her feel the way she makes him, she’d understand and change it. But it doesn’t work out.
Q16: “But that didn’t happen. And you lost Jonathan because of it.” “I lost everything.” “Not me, not if you apologize.” “You say that now but you’ve been a totally different person. As a result, so have I. Apparently I became someone Jonathan no longer wanted to be with. And for that I blame you. I told Kira she had to watch her back. Well, now you have to watch yours.”–Jenny and Eric
I’m not big on either of those two but I thought that exchange was great.
I don’t think breaking up with your boyfriend at 16 is losing everything but I remember that it felt like it was. Add the fact that Eric was suicidal in the past and I guess it feels even worse to him to be living like this, like he has no one. (Hey, maybe he should hang out with Clay from OTH!)
Eleanor finds Blair stuffing her face with pie.

LOL That’s a good point. Interesting that they haven’t touched on that before. You’d expect Aaron to be around somewhat.
Eleanor says she’s not pregnant. She was changing her will because she bought new property…in Paris. They are going to live there full-time.
Q18: Perhaps it’s time for me to step back and let you make Manhattan your own.–Eleanor
Um, I’m pretty sure she already does! And I can’t stand it.
Eleanor wins Blair over by saying their flat in Paris is near B’s favorite restaurant.
Q19: I’m sorry, mom. You pregnant? We both know you closed for business a long time ago.–Blair
She wonders aloud whose test it was.
I’m calling it now: Dorota!
Vayan comes up and says he still hasn’t heard from Dorota but he’s sorry for whatever he did.
You can tell Blair is thinking what I am: that Dorota is preggers.
And then Eleanor and Blair both go “Oh my god!”
Gabrielle tells Rufus it’s odd that she wasn’t truthful about CeCe’s illness.
Rufus says Lily will tell him all about it when she’s ready.
Gabrielle tries to give more of her opinion but Rufus walks away and Vanessa goes off on her for always doing things her way.
Dan interrupts with a simple “It’s Thanksgiving” and Gabrielle says she should leave.
Q20: For once, mom, I agree.–Vanessa
Serena comes back to the living room to silence and stares.
She says to Maureen she’s sorry and she was wrong and she never meant to hurt anyone, but she knows she did.
Q21: I promise I’ll never see Tripp again.–Serena
She walks off, as everyone looks kinda of sad and shocked.
Blair goes to comfort Serena, saying Chuck told her what happened.
She tells S she did the right thing, even though it hurts.
Q22: Doing the right thing requires courage and strength. At least that’s what I’ve heard.–Blair
Q23: And anything that hard is only made more difficult by not having your best friend by your side. I’m sorry you had to go through it alone.–Blair
Serena apologizes as well for “everything.”
Blair suggests she come to Paris for the weekend, since she and Eleanor and Chuck are going anyway.
Q24: Chuck can shop for sweaters with Harold and Roman and we can…spend time just the two of us like we haven’t done in so long.–Blair
That was a great scene, even though I’m tired off their fights and reconciliations. It had nice echoes of Serena leaving Blair behind and going away and then Blair wanting to leave Serena behind and go away and now they are going away together!
Rufus finds Lily drinking still.
She apologizes for missing Thanksgiving and calls him wonderful.
Rufus asks her why she didn’t come home sooner if CeCe was better.
She says she was finally connecting with her mother, crediting the illness with making her a changed person.
CeCe walks by and over hears this. You can tell by her look that this still isn’t the truth.
Rufus says if this was the case, Lily should’ve told him and she agrees. She says she lied and continued to lie to cover it up.
CeCe comes in and Lily says she wasn’t supposed to overhear how happy she was to be with her.
Q25: I’m glad I did because now I have a witness in case you ever tell me how insufferable I’ve become.–CeCe
Rufus leaves and Lily knows she’s gonna hear it from her mother.
She thanks CeCe for playing along and CeCe says Lily didn’t tell him about “your little trip this summer.”
Lily says no and she’s not going to. And we wonder where Serena gets it from…
CeCe asks Lily when she’ll learn (and we wonder where Lily gets it from…) that “secrets can’t stay hidden.”
Q26: “Well, this one will.” “Let’s hope so.”–Lily and CeCe
Eleanor gives Dorota a plate of food to give to Vanya.
Q27: Tom Colicchio live in building. I’m sure he send food already.And Rufus send food already. Mr. Rufus good cook but not Top Chef.–Dorota
Eleanor and Blair push Dorota to talk to him.
Q28: You not understand. We are not married. My parents start next Polish-Soviet war.–Dorota
LOL They force her into the elevator. Couldn’t she get off any at floor? She doesn’t have to go to him.
Dan finds Gabrielle leaving the loft. She thanks him for his concern but says it’s a waste of time since she and V are so different.
Dan says that’s not true and cites examples and calls V amazing. I wonder if he’s realizing his feelings? This is what happened on Dawson’s Creek. Dawson told Joey’s dad how amazing she is and realized he loves her.
Q29: “I can’t believe I didn’t see this til now.” “Um, what?” “You’re in love with her. It’s all over your face.”–Gabrielle and Dan
He tries to deny it again and V walks in. He leaves so they can talk.
Tripp tells Nate he can’t believe Nate interfered. He’s worried Maureen will use it against him now.
Nate says this was all Tripp’s choice/fault. Nate says that he’s only now thinking about his career makes him sure he did the right thing.
Tripp leaves and now it’s Chuck’s turn. He asks Nate why N wasn’t honest–the truth being that Nate is really someone who “will sacrifice anything” to be Serena, “even if it means stealing a tape from his best friend’s business.”
Q30: Tell her how you feel. Give her a chance to be with a guy that does deserve her.–Chuck
For the record, I don’t think Dan didn’t deserve her but I know the comparison here is to Tripp.
I can’t see Serena reciprocating right now, though.
Blair and S are in Bart’s old office, which is now Rufus’ pad save for her mom’s safe.
S is opening it so she can get her passport. I bet the letter’s in there.
They’re interrupted by Tripp, who says he couldn’t leave.
Q31: I can help you out with it. The elevator comes, you get on it and we never see you again.–Blair
Q32: I don’t care if Maureen knows about our affair. I don’t care if they run me out of Congress. All I care about is you. If I’m going to leave Maureen–which I just told her I am–I want to do it with you by my side.–Tripp
He says he’ll be waiting in his car and he wants S to join him.
I imagine she’ll go. She’s a sucker for things like this, especially from him we’ve seen.
LOL Blair says “I didn’t think he had it in him.”
And now she encourages S to go!
What about their trip? Or Nate? =(
A ha! Serena goes to close the safe and spots the letter! She immediately tears up when she realizes a) it’s from her father, b) it came weeks ago and c) someone read it already.
Eleanor calls for Blair and S tells her to go, as she wants to read it alone.
She reads it and then starts to talk out of the penthouse when Lily asks where she’s going. She says Tripp and Maureen have left and S did the right thing.
Serena, clearly POed, tells her mom that Tripp and Maureen are divorcing and he’s waiting for her so they can be together.
Q33: “I thought we understood each other, Serena.” “We do. I’m not welcome in your home.”–Lily and Serena
Lily tells her she’s still responsible for ruining the marriage (except for the whole Hudson fraud thing but she doesn’t know about that) and it’s all a mistake that she’ll regret for the rest of her life.
Serena takes the letter out of her bag and gives it to her mother.
Q34: You don’t get to judge me. Ever again.–Serena
Gabrielle is happy now that she and Vanessa worked things out. They’re going to go to a hotel for the weekend.
Dan says they can stay and Gabrielle says he gave good advice to her before so she’s going to do it for him now.
Q35: When Vanessa told you her feelings for you all those years ago, you broke her heart and your friendship almost didn’t recover. So, unless you’re sure your daughter is the one you want to be with, I suggest you keep your feelings to yourself. Because if you break her heart this time, your friendship won’t survive and that would be a tragedy.–Gabrielle
Vanessa comes in and says she got a text from the theater boy (in the last episode, Paul is his name I think) who wants to meet for a drink with his parents and hers. (That’s moving a little fast, V!)
Gabrielle defers to Dan on whether she should go. He says they should as V likes him a lot and she should meet him.
He doesn’t look happy, though. I think he’s mostly confused.
Serena walks out of the building with Nate chasing after her.
Q36: “Excuse me for leaving without saying goodbye but after what you did–” “Don’t go.” “What?” “Don’t go with Tripp.” “Nate.” “Look, I know what I did was wrong and I’m sorry. I did it because (pause) because ever since last week, ever since 3 years ago when you left–please don’t get in the car. Stay here with me. Just give me a chance.”–Serena and Nate
Why didn’t he just say he loves her?!
Cue Tripp rolling up in his car, asking Serena if she’s coming.
Gabrielle and Vanessa are leaving. V and Dan hug (he has the look!) and V thanks him for “everything.”
Q37: You know what? I like your new face. It’s cute.–Vanessa
Dorota and Vanya are talking. He is ecstatic when she says she’s pregnant. It’s quite cute.
Eric texts someone that Jenny knows and they have to “strike” now. Hmm.
Lily is reading the letter when Rufus comes over. She hides it.
Q38: Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. And what I’m most thankful for is the truth. Sometimes it’s the truth you’ve been trying not to face. Or the truth that will change your life. Sometimes it’s the truth that some people have a long time coming. Or the truth you prayed would never see the light of day.
Chuck and Blair and Eleanor are leaving when Chuck and B see something. Presumably Nate left alone.
Q39: “Do you mind if I stay?” “Yes. But what’s why I love you.”–Chuck and Blair
Yep, it’s Nate alone. I’m heart-broken.
Q40: C’mon. Let’s go get drunk.–Chuck
This is like the upteenth scene we’ve gotten of Serena in the back of a limo, wondering if she’s happy.

Maureen is back; she forgot her coat. But she took Lily’s! And she now has the letter!

A recap of last week’s 90210 managed to cleverly tie in both Gossip Girl and The O.C.
Josh Schwartz, creator of both Gossip Girl and The O.C., gave Entertainment Weekly his picks for the decade’s best music.
Gossip Girl’s riff on The O.C.’s season 3 cliff-hanger in last week’s episode, though apparently quite common, was criticized in at least 2 recaps.
WEEKEND named The O.C. one of the best shows of the decade.
Rachel Bilson (Summer, The O.C.) is featured on the cover of a magazine whose name I can’t even read.
Bilson is in a disturbingly graphic but slightly funny new Funny or Die video.
The Post-Tribune has a feature on Peter Gallagher (Sandy, The O.C.) and his one-man show.
Shannon Lucio (Lindsay, The O.C.) has joined the cast of True Blood.
Olivia Wilde (Alex, The O.C.) is on the cover of the December issue of Lucky. Coincidentally, Bilson was on the cover of the November issue.

When compared to their respective previous episodes, last week’s One Tree Hill (2.4 million viewers rounded up) dropped a decent amount in the ratings while Gossip Girl (2.2 million viewers) stayed the same. 90210 (2.1 million viewers) also had the same ratings.
As The CW brags about its ratings, The Hollywood Reporter points out its failure.
The Yale Daily News has a surprisingly accurate take (IMO, anyway) on the state of the teen drama genre.
OK! Magazine has an interview with Sophia Bush (Brooke, One Tree Hill). Coincidentally, the writer and I were once sent to cover the same event.
Star News Online has quite possibly the best feature story I’ve ever read on Paul Johansson (Dan, One Tree Hill; John, Beverly Hills 90210).
Candy Spelling has confirmed that she and daughter Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) have reconciled.
Gossip Cop says rumors that Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna, 90210) is using co-star Rumer Willis (Gia, 90210) to get to stepdad Ashton Kutcher are false.
Power of Youth, which just honored Kellan Lutz (George, 90210) with one of their awards, is auctioning off a lunch date with him. The Miami Herald has a short interview with him.
This Ain’t Beverly Hills 90210 XXX is a porn spoof of the show. The trailer is actually pretty funny. (No nudity shown.)

Jennie Garth (Kelly, Beverly Hills 90210) and husband Peter Facinelli are on the cover of PEOPLE’s special holiday extra edition. PEOPLE.com has a video from the photo shoot.
Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) and mom Candy Spelling have reportedly reconciled.
Luke Perry (Dylan, Beverly Hills 90210) is featured in a new video for The Killers. Interestingly enough (but I’m sure not purposefully), it somewhat echoes the season 5 episode where Dylan revisits his past lives.
Perry, Jason Priestley (Brandon, Beverly Hills 90210), Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl), Chad Michael Murray (Lucas, One Tree Hill), Joshua Jackson (Pacey, Dawson’s Creek) and Benjamin McKenzie (Ryan, The O.C.) made AOL’s list of the Top 50 Teen Idols. Perry ranks the best at number 7, while CMM is at 13, Crawford came in at 17 with Priestley right after at 18 and Jackson sits at number 20 while McKenzie is at 31. Also on the list is John Schneider who recently played Liam’s step-dad on 90210.
