Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) struggle with the aftermath of her mother’s death.

  • GOSSIP GIRL — “It’s A Dad, Dad, Dad World” (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Will’s (guest star William “Billy” Baldwin) return to the Upper East Side continues to stir up problems for Serena (Blake Lively), Lily (Kelly Rutherford) and his long-standing rival, Rufus (Matthew Settle).

Tuesday, May 4

  • 90210 — “Meet The Parent” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Teddy (Trevor Donovan) invites a nervous Silver (Jessica Stroup) to meet his father, Spence (guest star Ryan O’Neal), for the second time and the meeting doesn’t go quite as planned.  Adrianna records a duet with Javier Luna (guest star/Latin recording artist Diego Boneta), a famous young pop singer, who quickly wins her over with his charm.

“Almost Everything I Wish I’d Said the Last Time I Saw You…” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) tries to overcome her depression by joining Nathan (James Lafferty), Jamie (Jackson Brundage) and the rest of the Tree Hill gang on a trip to Utah for the premiere of Julian’s (Austin Nichols) film.

  • GOSSIP GIRL — “Last Tango, Then Paris” (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Blair (Leighton Meester) must decide whether to meet Chuck (Ed Westwick) at the top of the Empire State Building or risk losing their future together.  A Gossip Girl gossip bomb involving Dan (Penn Badgley) causes major problems for Serena (Blake Lively) and Nate (Chace Crawford).  Georgina Sparks (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg) returns to the Upper East Side…and she has an agenda.

Tuesday, May 18

SEASON FINALE

  • 90210 — “Confessions” (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

Teddy (Trevor Donovan) discovers that Spence (guest star Ryan O’Neal) tried to bribe Silver (Jessica Stroup) and takes it upon himself to seek revenge in a most confrontational way.  Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Liam (Matt Lanter) test out the waters with his new boat, where they share their darkest secrets.  Little do they know that someone is nearby and decides to share an explosive flame of gasoline with Liam’s boat.

  • The Gossip Girl season 3 DVD hasn’t been officially announced yet and there isn’t a release date but you can check out the cover art and pre-order it from Amazon.
  • The Gossip Girl tour of New York City will allow moms to go free Mother’s Day weekend.
  • CNN has their Connector Of The Day video interview with Chace Crawford (Nate, Gossip Girl).
  • PEOPLE.com has a short article on Taylor Momsen (Jenny, Gossip Girl) filming the music video for The Pretty Reckless’ Make Me Wanna Die.
  • Beauty & The Briefcase, starring Hilary Duff (Olivia, Gossip Girl) and Chris Carmack (Luke, The O.C.), will air Sunday night on ABCFamily.
  • Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Valerie, Beverly Hills 90210) filmed a PSA for the World Society for the Protection of Animals.
  • Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) will be on The Ellen DeGegeres Show Monday with hubby Dean McDermott. Duff was on today.
  • Shawn Christian (Wayne, Beverly Hills 90210) spoke a little bit about the show in an interview with We Love Soaps. Never knew he was asked to stick around in season 1o! He also discusses being on Summerland, which starred Lori Loughlin (Debbie, 90210), and working with Roger Howarth (Professor Hetson, Dawson’s Creek).
  • Kellan Lutz (George, 90210) is in talks to star in the action flick Deathgames.

  • BuzzSugar has a photogallery called The History of One Tree Hill: Top 10 Highlights. Can’t say I agree with all their picks and at least one caption isn’t quite accurate but it was still fun to look at.
  • Everly, the band featuring Bethany Joy Galeotti  (Haley, One Tree Hill), tweeted that they will be doing a Q & A session with fans and are accepting questions via Facebook. For a little bit more on the band, come back Sunday. =)
  • WSMV, a news station in Nashville, has a video interview with Jana Kramer (Alex, One Tree Hill), including an acoustic performance.
  • Gossip Cop busted a Perez Hilton story claiming Rumer Willis (Gia, 90210) is getting married soon. She’s not even engaged!
  • Total viewers for 90210 and Gossip Girl (each) have dropped more than 20 percent since last season.
  • PEOPLE.com is asking whether Chuck (Ed Westwick, Gossip Girl) and Blair (Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl) are meant to be together. The CW promo they have alongside it, essentially a movie-like trailer for the Chair love story, is chilling. Warning: there are snippets of upcoming scenes!
  • Ausiello has a very brief interview with Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl).
  • Josh Schwartz (creator, Gossip Girl; The O.C.) wrote a piece for EW.com about his experiences going to Coachella, including one time he attended with some (unnamed) O.C. cast members.
  • The Los Angeles Times has an interview with Melinda Clarke (Julie, The O.C.). There’s some O.C. talk, including some subtle (but totally valid, IMO) criticism of Schwartz and praise for Kevin Williamson (creator, Dawson’s Creek), with whom she worked with on The Vampire Diaries.

  • Last night’s Gossip Girl (1.9 million viewers rounded up) climbed a bit in the ratings compared to last week.
  • Korbi is asking via poll if Blair should have forgiven Chuck.
  • Gossip Cop busted a Perez Hilton/In Touch story about Leighton Meester (Blair, Gossip Girl) hooking up with Twilight’s Robert Pattinson.
  • The Daily News claims they have more details about the breakup between Ed Westwick (Chuck, Gossip Girl) and Jessica Szohr (Vanessa, Gossip Girl).
  • You can enter a sweepstakes to win the dress Silver (Jessica Stroup, 90210) wore to the Winter Wonderland dance.
  • Brian Austin Green (David, Beverly Hills 90210) will make his return to Smallville on Friday’s episode. Ausiello has an exclusive sneak peek of one of his scenes.
  • Sophia Bush (Brooke, One Tree Hill) has been cast in Southern Discomfort, an ABC pilot. This DOES NOT mean One Tree Hill is canceled or that Bush is abandoning ship. 1) OTH has not been canceled–or renewed. 2) If OTH is renewed, Bush is contractually obligated to do OTH. 3) She is simply preparing herself for what may be a reality. It’s a smart move.
  • Also noteworthy in the short article about the casting is Deadline’s take that OTH has a 50-50 chance at renewal. They also “presume” that it’s OTH versus Life Unexpected, which stars Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek). The Hollywood Reporter says the shows “are considered to be” in competition.
  • Joshua Jackson (Pacey, Dawson’s Creek) won a Genie Award for his acting work in the movie One Week. He reportedly mentioned DC in his acceptance speech. He looks adorable in the photo.

  • Teen Today has an interview with Trevor Donovan (Teddy, 90210) but it’s really…well, you’ll see.
  • Parade.com has an interview with Brian Austin Green (David, Beverly Hills 90210). It’s good but there’s nary a mention of BH90210.
  • You can watch the trailer for Call Me Fitz (previously called Meet Phil Fitz), the upcoming Canadian series starring Jason Priestley (Brandon, Beverly Hills 90210). Warning: this is NSFW and very far removed from Brandon Walsh! (I think the latter is part of the point.)

  • Robyn Lively, half-sister of Blake Lively (Serena, Gossip Girl), stars in Letters To God, which is now playing in select theaters.
  • Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl) will be a presenter at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 18.
  • James Van Der Beek (Dawson, Dawson’s Creek) and his girlfriend Kimberly Brook are expecting a baby.

  • A report also came out today that Leighton Meester (Blair, Gossip Girl) and Sebastian Stan (Carter, Gossip Girl) have split but I haven’t been able to confirm that yet.
  • Date Night, featuring Meester, opens in theaters tomorrow.
  • Fancast has an interview with Zuzanna Szadkowski (Dorota, Gossip Girl).
  • BuddyTV has an interesting post on The Cost of Dressing Like A Gossip Girl.
  • Has anyone heard of the animated series Beverly Hills Teens? It aired in the late 1980s. I just stumbled across it today.
  • SoapNet has a poll asking “Which “Beverly Hills 90210″ star is due for a return to TV?”
  • Shawn Christian (Wayne, Beverly Hills 90210) is SoapNet’s Weekly Crush.
  • SoapNet is having a mothers-themed marathon of Beverly Hills 90210 and One Tree Hill on Mother’s Day, May 9. It will air during the normal Sunday teen drama schedule for those shows. I’ll post a reminder that morning.
  • Wakey!Wakey!, featuring Mike Grubbs (Grubbs, One Tree Hill), will have a huge concert at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on May 20 (which is coincidentally the same date as The CW upfront). Also check out another newly-released video from the band.

  • Last night’s 90210 (1.3 million viewers) had another drop in the ratings compared to last week, hitting a new season- and series-low. Note, though, that coverage was only in 92 percent of the marketplace, not the usual 95. (I know the Chicagoland area, for instance, had the show preempted for sports.)
  • E! Online has 90210 spoilers.
  • The Stir has an interview with Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna, 90210).
  • I love working for Gossip Cop. I love it even more when it involves taking down Perez Hilton for a Beverly Hills 90210-related post.
  • Gossip Cop also busted another false Life & Style story today (though I wasn’t involved in this one; I did write the above PH one) about the marriage between Tori Spelling (Donna, Beverly Hills 90210) and Dean McDermott.
  • Brian Austin Green (David, Beverly Hills 90210) and girlfriend Megan Fox made a Funny or Die video in support of public education.
  • Tiffani Amber Thiessen (Valerie, Beverly Hills 90210) participated in a Paley Center panel last night in support of her show, White Collar.
  • SoapNet now has a Beverly Hills 90210 I.Q. quiz to go along with the ones for The O.C. and One Tree Hill. I got a 100 percent and was told “AWESOME! Is your last name Walsh? You’re a Beverly Hills, 90210 expert, a fact sure to open doors and earn you friends wherever you go.” It was much easier than the other quizzes, IMO, but unfortunately, there were two inaccurate questions (though you can still figure out the answers) and one answer listed incorrectly on the results page.
  • Shenae Grimes (Annie, 90210) is on the cover of Dirrty Glam magazine. Kristen Bell (Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl) was on the last issue.
  • Bell was on The Late Late Show last night.

  • Your Love Is A Drug by Leighton Meester (Blair, Gossip Girl) will be featured in next week’s episode of Gossip Girl.
  • TeenVogue.com has the video premiere of Light Outside by Wakey!Wakey!, which features Mike Grubbs (Grubbs, One Tree Hill).
  • Sixty percent of voters in Zap2it’s “kill” or “keep” poll want to keep One Tree Hill.
  • The final round of Save One Show has started and One Tree Hill, as well as Life Unexpected starring Kerr Smith (Jack, Dawson’s Creek), are still in the running. Also a contender is Chuck, which is executive produced by Josh Schwartz (executive producer, Gossip Girl; The O.C.). The post includes written messages from both Schwartz and Mark Schwahn (creator, One Tree Hill), as well as the producers of the other shows, encouraging their fans to vote.
